For 4 weeks I have been waiting for a lid to replace the damaged one on the storage box that sent to me. I was sent me the wrong lid, I rang, they apologised. They sent me a 2nd part, the wrong one, another apology. They promised to send it out again. Then you told me they had none in stock, offering me a partial refund of £20, for an item that does not close properly. I refused and was told that I could have a full refund. They have now rung to pick up the item, they won't issue a refund until they have it back , despite having seen photos of it. Faulty goods. Not fit for purpose. Not only that, but they want it dismantled, which is outrageous. I want compensation for my time; time spent building it, time spent emailing them, time spent on the phone on hold. This is sheer incompetence. They trade as 2 different company names, as Billy Oh as well; GBD which I had the same issue with 2 months ago, and would never have ordered from again had I known it was the same company. I saw my last post on your FB was deleted.

They don't even deserve a single star. Terrible quality of wood. Items missing. Items damaged. Items suffering from wood rot. Appalling delivery standards. Very poor customer service via an overseas call centre. After one month of to and fro, I'm still no closer to being able to turn the pile of wood I received into something resembling the glossy images on the website. Buying a log cabin from these cowboys was one of the biggest errors of judgement I have ever made. I implore others not to make the same mistake.

BillyOh Expert Tongue and Groove Pent Workshop 14 x 8 When I ordered My workshop, I chose a delivery date of the 20th, on the 15th (Sunday night) I received a text to say my delivery would be the 16th, on logging into my account the notification told me I was now unable to change this, I msg'd your customer services & was instructed i could refuse the delivery if i was unable to take it, at this stage we had not laid the base for our workshop as we were expecting it on the 20th & i was due to be out most if not all of the 16th. On the morning of the 16th I received a2nd msg saying I had refused delivery, I had not, someone at GBD had done this... I spent the next hour trying to get hold of an operator to find out what was happening, the phone options system gives people the run around, deliberately ending calls directing people to the website, I had to chose completely irreverent options in order to get through to an operator...that operator then had to transfer me to different departments, I will be reporting this to trading standards as you don't make it easy for anyone to get hold of you & your operators from the non UK based call center just read from scripts giving standard replies, there was no real help to a problem. When i did get through I spoke to a operator with basic English skills, it took far too long to establish my delivery should have been on the 20th, as far as she was concerned I had refused the delivery, there had not been any delivery... when I requested the delivery to be put back on the 20th she tried to charge me £30, I had already requested this date with my order, I was not going to pay again for the delivery date I had already selected. I had to refuse to pay this multiple times, no reason or apology was given i was told if i did not want to pay i would receive the shed on the next available day but she did not know when that would be. what is the point of picking & charging clients for delivery dates if you are going to completely ignore them? In the end my workshop arrived on the 18th i was given no warning about this delivery, luckily I was in, the driver explained when he saw the order sheet "delivery on 20th" that, and I quote "they don't give a **** mate, they just send them out as the choose, that date means nothing, few people get them on the day they want & that's just luck" Onto the workshop building, quite frankly I'm amazed i could put it together, the quality of construction is far worse then the quality of the materials which i would classed as damp fire wood, i have assembled 4 sheds in my life time & have been a wood worker for 14 years, it would have been quicker & easier to build my own from scratch, it would have been from far better materials for the cost. I ordered a pre made building as i have limited time, the idea was it would be the quicker option, this was not the case in the end. Non of the panels were square, they were impossible to get them to line up correctly, they cant have been made with templates or any tooling that allows consistency, sides cut shot, T&G cut long, I had to half disassemble 3 of them just to get it something like, I would have taken more apart but they start to disintegrate.... I'm very glad i didn't order a floor as the ones included or could be upgraded to were incredibly thin, we used 18mm OSB on 3.2's instead, this was cut to size and square having been cut on our panel saw in the joinery workshop were I work... the workshop would not sit on it, not only was it out of square no matter what we did, the dimensions were off we had to re make it to get it together... the roof was very much the same, when all put together there were gaps & holes in the panels i could put 2-3 fingers through. The contents of the bags, the wood & screws were all soaked, the bags were full of water, our instructions were soaking wet we had to dry them out to use them, parts were rusting & again the quality of the wood & timber is all shocking, even pilot drilling everything didn't stop splits, its just poor stuff. about 30% of the roof T&G has splits in it before we even came to used them, we had to glue them back together, given how wet the wood is it would not surprise me if shrinkage does not cause us further roof problems down the line. Finally we got it together something like, a few hand size gaps in sections & corners as the frames were so out of square or were just so warped, several times during the build i had considered stopping, returning it ... but the simple fact is by the time we had realized how bad it was it was all unpacked and in progress, access was limited where were were putting it up & it was just as big a job to take it down & re pack it as it was to keep going... it had taken half a day to go through all the parts & another half day to get 4 walls standing . The next issue i discovered was when i walked into the shed for the first time after putting the roof trusses in, I'm 6ft tall, and could only just stand in between them, the listing states that the shed is 1.76 to the eves at the shallowest part and 2.06m to the ridge, its advertised as EXTRA TALL... this is complete garbage & false advertising... mine was 1.69 to the eves, i could not move around in this workshop without stooping or receiving a concussion every time I moved sideways... in the end i had to raise the roof another 4" to make it just usable. id have raised it more but i was now using materials i had bought for other tasks to make my purchase fit for use, this product as it stands is not suitable for anything but a mediocre storage shed, you could do no work in it unless you are about 5 foot 5. After a further 3 days of wrestling with it, and modifying repairing it i have now got a workshop that's usable, its cost me an additional £100 or so in materials & way too much time, and I'm now able to line it out with 18mm OSB, all in all its been an over priced, "low cost" workshop that i would have been better off buying a more expensive shed from another UK manufacturer (these are not made in the UK) it would have saved me time & money for a better product that fits together, I'm kicking myself about that now, i will be logging complaints with Trading standards and putting up this review elsewhere as i don't want anyone else to suffer the shoddy service & appalling product i have had to make right. they really are not fit for Billy OH & Garden buildings direct are selling them as.

Appalling company. Purchased a Billy-Oh Apex Tongue & Groove Summer House. What we received were rotting, ill-matched timbers of flimsy design. The quality of design and product were truly shocking. Nothing like what was advertised, and in no way fit for purpose. Garden Buildings Direct then completely refused to engage with our formal complaint via their service department. On the rare occasions you could reach someone on the phone, they would always insist someone else needed to help. They didn't return calls or letters. Worst experience I've had. I'm amazed Kybotech / Garden Buildings Direct is still in business. Avoid at all costs!

Ordered am 8x6 shed with a delivery date of the 11th July. On the 11th of July, I got 3/4 of a shed (2 panels missing) after spending a week getting fobbed off by an offshore team with no clue, I had a further delivery today of ONE of the missing panels. SO, a week on, I'm still one panel missing and have a shed that I cannot build, having already had to pay the contractor who was going to put it up for me, meaning i am also out of pocket too. No replies from anyone with any authority so legal action is the next step. Avoid these people like the plague!!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. ONCE THEY HAVE YOUR MONEY, THEY COULDN'T CARE LESS!!!! Order ref: GBD1364795 for reference of anyone associated with this excuse of a company.

company changes specified delivery dates, placed my order chose the 20th for delivery date, on the 15th i get a text saying my delivery is tomorrow & as items are loaded already this cant be changed... i raise a complaint & am told i can have delivery on the 20th if i pay £20 extra... i refuse so they say they will "contact me" when the next delivery slot is available. phone support is awful, most of the options result in you being told to use the website & it hands up the line.

BEWARE! Do not use this company, should be no stars but there isn't an option for that. Our summer house was delivered 3 weeks ago with missing, broken or ill fitting parts. Called company straight away and they said that they would send out replacement parts with 3-5 working day delivery. Waited till the 5th day and they said the parts hadn't been ordered so needed to do this again. Went through all the hassle of this again, finding part numbers etc. Delivery arraigned today with only one part correct, the rest were missing or still didn't fit. Just tried calling them, on the phone for 10 minutes pressing options and it then tells you "thank you goodbye!" And hangs up! Fuming doesn't even cover it! Foreign call centres too! Three weeks on and we still can't use our summer house, will be winter by the time this is sorted! AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!

Total shambles from start to finish. Cancelled delivery date two days before delivery. Missed second delivery date, waited in all day as delivery was according to them on it way and to look out for driver only to be phoned at 4 in the afternoon from the driver to say he would not be here till the next day. Quality control is a total joke. Cheap and badly made. Tongue and grooves had massive gaps, boards broken and split, roof panels not joining up.Roof felt so thin and cheap be careful not to tear it. Trying to get any sense out of "customer service" (very loosely termed) is a total waste of time. Ordered Summer House on the 28th May and still waiting for the replacement parts. Word of advice DON'T TOUCH THIS COMPANY. Complete waste of money.

I went to purchase a shed and the person asked me to call them. I called them and paid over the phone but they said my card had been declined. I didn't think anything of it as I have been having trouble with it buying other stuff, so we went through the process 4 times. My shock come when i checked with the bank and had seen I had paid the full amount 4 times from my bank account. The company states they have no record of receiving the funds ! They wont deal with it over the phone and say i need to email their accounts - I have had no reply ! Appalling company - the worst I have ever dealt with. Do not use this company!

Very poor item with a shoddy afterservice I was excited when I stumbled across this company however the product isn’t as described as all panels are either warped or misshaped. I though get this was due to it being a natural material but made putting together interesting. Thinking ahead I generally thought with it being a natural product it might conform and sort however my issues have since worsened to the point I reached out for help from the company. This came in a response of its out of warranty due to factors which aren’t strictly true!? It’s seems they like to take your money yet aren’t willing to help afterwards Plus they avoid certain elements such as the felt roof looking very poor and the treated floor caving in!? Just to update, they use every which way possible to avoid sorting the resolution to the point stating that a concrete slab base is inadequate and that it should be purely a concrete base and that a treated floor that has collapsed is at fault of the base being slabs?!?! They say the misshaped wood is actually an issue with the fact it was treated 6 months ago by them and as it has been wet it hasn’t been done yet it’s my fault. The felt on the roof is very very poor yet they avoid that question everytime. All they keep saying is I can buy spares!!! I don’t want bloody spares I want a shed that’s described on the add and not a substandard second

The 6x3' garden shed we ordered with an 11 mm tongue and groove floor arrived with a huge knot (10cm around) in the middle of the board which was also in the middle of the floor. It was clearly broken before the tongue and groove floor was assembled! We contacted the service department, sent 5 very clear pictures and the result? Another message (which we were not told about in our telephone conversation) ordering us to go to our account and verify the faulty part instead of instantly ordering a replacement part bering sent out. Having heard nothing a day later we called and were told it would take 1 - 3 days for a replacement floor to be delivered. In a second call minutes later with a service manager this changed to 3 - 5 working days and no excuse apart from "we are very sorry" "but although we are the manufacturers that's how long it will take before you will get your replacement floor". Also worth mentioning the delivery was made not between "11:00 and 17:00" as stated, delivery was made 18:10. I waited all day for nothing! The poor man delivering the shed (alone) - told me he had started at 05:00 and had one more delivery to do and expected to be back in the yard at 20:00 hrs. In addition he had no equipment whatsoever to unload! Not being able to watch him unload by himself I carried the various parts into our garden while he undid the straps. Since this was a commercial delivery I do not think he was driving legally - working that many hours not being able to take a rest. The shed was delivered with a number of nails instead of screws - we opted to reinforce them with screws. Note we cannot assemble the shed without the floor in question!

Where do I start.....wish I had read the reviews before purchasing. 1. Wet instructions 2. Incorrect base connecting instructions 3. No wood to connect base together - had to spend £20 on additional wood 4. GBD said they would send out a replacement base but after 4 days told me it hadn’t been despatched 5. Felt didn’t arrive with shed 6. Extra thick felt was torn on arrival - Had to spend additional £36 on durable felt 7. Wood bad quality & split even after drilling holes 8. Frames didn’t align 9. No tacks were sent for the roof felt - Spent additional £4 on tacks 10. Doors didn’t align! In the middle 3” gap at top & 2” gap at bottom - Had to purchase additional wood cladding & battoning & saw to size to attach to door 11. Wood warped straight away & some pieces didn’t fit

Ordered and took delivery of a 6x4 apex shed from "Gardenbuildingsdirect".(GBD) Paper work arrived with the package very damp and had to dry off before attempting to read them one page in particular was the page which was left blank not signed off for pre-delivery inspection prior to dispatch. Some of the timber components were badly warped and twisted had to use personal skills to overcome the problems. Every stage of the assembly has been met with more snags. would never ever recommend anyone to purchase from the "GBD".

Ordered and paid extra for a Saturday delivery, received email on the Thursdayto say that delivery would be Friday, phoned and eventually got a refund for the Saturday delivery. Friday morning received email to say delivery would be between 09.59 & 15.59 at 15.45 received email to say there was a manufacturing fault and that the item wouldn't now be delivered until the following Thursday. Phoned after receiving the email and spoke to call centre in Philippines, was not able to get a phone number from them for Garden Buildings Direct (Kybotech) told them to cancel the order and refund my money as they had now changed the date on my order twice. Fortunately I had paid by PayPal so I raised a dispute with PayPal on the Friday. Phoned again on the Monday and again requested a refund, sent several emails, along with an email via PayPal requesting a refund, did not receive refund Monday so phoned again Tuesday and sent email via Paypal and was told that a refund was being processed. Did not receive the refund on Tuesday so Wednesday morning phoned call centre again, was told payment had been processed and would take 2-3 working days to come back into my account, sent another email via PayPal this time saying I would escalate the dispute unless I received payment that day, payment was back in my account within a couple of hours. Was really disappointed with the way the whole process was handled, couldn't get to speak to anyone in the UK. Having read the problems that other people have had with their purchases I think we had a lucky escape by cancelling before we had actually received the summer house.

We bought a children’s playhouse, it is unsafe and a danger. We have addressed this with the company stating we’d like a refund but they’re ignoring any correspondence with us. I am not left with a dangerous item where my children should be at their safest in my garden, not only that, but this was a present for them for Christmas and they can’t play with it! Royally getting angry with this company!! Going to have to look into involving the Obudsman and trading standards.

Bought a playhouse for my son, arrived with a wrong piece, said a new piece would be delivered within 3-working days, we are now 2-weeks on and no replacement piece. Instructions provided are incomprehensible, they are for a different playhouse altogether but they are the only instructions they have to give you. Impossible to speak to anyone, they insist on doing everything via their messaging service online so it takes forever to sort anything. Have now insisted on a refund so we will see how long that takes to come through!
