6 weeks still no plant.. no way of contract.. no reply. still taking orders/peoples money.

Ordered 10th april still had nothing. You can't phone and they don't answer any of the queries. I opened up an investigation of fraudulent activity on my credit card as I have no goods and they refuse to reply to queries. I have a business and I wouldn't have one if I handled any customer dissatisfaction like these do. Its absolutely shocking. I wrote a review on another site and they managed to report my review within 14 hours of me putting it on. Pity they can't do the same with peoples order queries. Never again

Order placed 21st April - the goods have not been despatched as of 17th May. Only response you get from the company is a generic email blaming Covid for the delay in service. Seems the company is taking cash from people but unable to deliver!

My order for two flowering rose trees took 18 days to be delivered. they were just two dead twigs. No reply from the company since middle of April, after numerous emails and support tickets. Please do not use them.

Ordered plants on the 9th April, but there is no way to actually call them to enquire on the status or expected delivery date. Raised enquiry tickets on their website to no avail, also emailed them. All you get is an automated update blaming Covid 19 for the delay, absolutely disgusting. Gardening Express should not be taking money off people if the are not able to provide the goods. Have contacted my bank to try and raise a dispute with them to get a refund. Many people, including myself, thought about buying plants to make the garden more pleasant as we are in lockdown and can’t go out, so was planning to spend more time in the garden at the moment as we can’t go out, so to have a company behave in this way is absolutely appalling.

Made an order for my elderly mother as a gift to cheer her up during lockdown on the 17/4. It is now 17/5 and she hasn't received her ceanothus. As others have said there is no way of effectively communicating with this company. They have obviously over faced themselves. They really should have stopped taking new orders weeks ago because they couldn't honour them. They have had my £35 since 20/4... I am extremely disappointed as it is a lot of money to me.

They took the money 6 weeks ago no delivery, no way to contact and generic emails. I suspect they are scamming. Will try to get money back through credit card.

Avoid the review would have been a zero.. They should stop taking orders and resolve current customer issues . They are blaming covid for there poor service , if you can’t cope with demand then stop taking orders and customer money until you have sorted out your issue. I urge people to post on face book not to use this company .

As with so many other people money taken for an order placed on 11.4.20 but no plants and no communication despite raising a ticket. It is now more than five weeks since ordering so their delivery comments are obviously misleading. I guess they are way overextended and should have stopped taking orders long ago. Effectively, dishonest and misleading advertising on site.

Utter shambles. Ordered on 15/04/20. No plants, no way of communicating. Wish I had seen these reviews. My advice would be to avoid this company at all costs. If your order is over £100 and you used a credit card you are covered under section 75 of the consumer credit act, which means your lender should refund the money. Orders under £100 are more problematic in terms of getting your money back, but in these instances the chargeback scheme is your only option.

shocking. stay clear at all costs. order still not fulfilled. automated/same email response family business etc go to another supplier, they will take your money and goodbye!!!! 0 stars would be a more accurate rating. run a mile!!!

I ordered 7 plants from Gardening Express and I waited 5 weeks for them to arrive. I received no communication at all the whole time despite raising 'tickets', which is the only way you can 'contact' them, the phone number is fake, the live chat doesn't work and there's no email for them either. I also asked for a refund via a 'ticket' but again I was ignored. (I got one automatic email on the first day to acknowledge my order but that was it and even that was 'no reply') When the plants finally arrived they had all been crammed into the same broken box. All the small plants were badly crushed and dried up and one was totally dead. I planted them out anyway and now I just have to hope they recover but they are in a sorry state. The other two I ordered were larger plants, the honeysuckle was also crushed and wilted and had been tied to a stick around some of its leaves so tightly that leaves were broken and the stem was almost severed, again I don't know if it is going to recover. The other larger plant is a japanese maple and thankfully that seems to be reasonably ok but one plant out of seven is just not good enough!! I am not at all happy with this company, terrible service. And to those people that said the plants are cheap, they really aren't!! I can get far better quality, bigger plants for a fraction of their prices at my local garden centre. Today I bought 34 nice flowering bedding plants, a large fushcia and a medium conifer for £15 less than they charged me for 7 sub-standard plants! Needless to say I will not be ordering from them again and would warn anyone reading this to steer well clear!

Absolute joke of a company. They take your money and then fail to deliver the goods. No means of contacting them except by e-mail not that they ever acknowledge. There is no phone number and their chat line ceases to exist. I have had to go to my credit card provider to get a refund. Next stop Trading Standards to put a stop to this unscrupulous company who should be stopped from trading and conning people out of their money.

Still awaiting order placed 8 April. Three days ago, stated that order dispatched but Hermes tracking says they are awaiting receipt. It's now 6 weeks since the order! No response from several emails to customer services. God knows what state the plants will be in when they are eventually received. They are foxgloves which should be flowering now - too late now to transplant after being in transit for so long!! Abysmal service. I suspect that it will be a difficult process to return The plants an get a refund if the experience so far is anything to go by? Save yourself the bother And hassle and look elsewhere!

Is there anybody who could do something about this scam company! They are still advertising their products and taking money from people and don’t sending them orders! How long it’s gonna be like that!!!!They should be on the black list! Wake up people! Do not spend your money in Gardening Express! My order from 22nd of April never came. They should be ashamed to use people trust in this difficult time!

Quoted up to 15 days delivery. Now 17 days and nothing except meaningless texts blaming unprecedented demand. Wish I'd read these comments before ordering. They should be stopped from trading and I'll be contacting trading standards next week.

The plants that arrived were broken or half dead - 50% didn't survive. They were poorly boxed and very dry when delivered in broken plant pots. It may have been a delivery issue in terms of how long they were in transit, but it really wasn't good. I emailed the company and they ignored me. I left pursuing it because the bay trees survived which ere the most expensive items but I wouldn't use them again. Perhaps they fell victim to over extending themselves in lockdown - if so, they would do well to say sorry. That would be enough for me.

This company are playing the symphony card and should be ashamed of themselves.If your lucky and get a reply to any emails or ticket no system they always lay the blame on covid,disgusting!!I've now waited 5 wks for my order and still no nearer to getting. I placed this order again with another company and recieved it within 10 days . Garden express what a laugh stop laying the blame on covid you took my money 11th april how many other people have you done this too!!!!
