Avoid this company, terrible customer service no way of contacting the company and plant took 4 weeks to arrive and was in a terrible condition.

Took 4 weeks to arrive. When it arrived all items were packed in the same box squashed together, on top of each other and some upside down. I ordered 3 trees, 1 Bush, 6 succulent plants and 2 large pots for trees, basically squashed in a box 18" x 18" maximum. The succulent plant pots squashed, 9 small heads broken off plants. The Bush had 2 broken stems and the smaller tree was damaged with twigs snapped. It was like, let's see how many items we can squeeze in the box to save on postage, sod the care of the plants. I have ordered trees elsewhere from other suppliers and they come in individual boxes each. Needless to say I won't be recommending them to anyone. If you want to contact them, good luck, as website contact details take you onto questions and answers, but no messaging facility. I replied to ask where they were by the first email received confirming order, and in fact asked if they hadn't posted them to refund me and I will go elsewhere. No answer, but a week later received an email confirming being picked, waited 3 weeks by now, how long does it take to pick them! Then had to wait for delivery. It was with the delivery driver for 5 days, so no watering during that time. Wish I had read reviews before ordering from this company.!!

1) delivery was delayed with no communication. One day i receive a message saying my plants will be delivered on the same day which meant i had to change my plans to ensure i was at home. Also, the only delivered half of the products, the other half was delivered on a different day, again, with no notice! 2) the plants look dead and damaged. My lavender is completely dry, the wisteria looks much smaller than promised and damaged. 3) they have changed the price on the wisteria just after i bought it. I bought it for 79 pounds and few days later they changed it to 45. They have a PRICE PROMISE in their website but they can't even keep their promise with themselves! i spoke to the customer service, sent them pictures and explained the situation and they told me that the plants look a bit dry but they will thrive once i put them in the soil, yeah right! they also said they can't do anything for the discount on the wisteria. This is surely the last time i buy from them.

Horrendous customer service. I paid £80.00 for a plant that arrived so damaged it died. I went through the online system , sent photos, etc. And I’ve heard nothing. Also one plant never arrived, and they don’t reply to anything. Terrible service. The ‘live chat’ is not live. And if you aren’t watching the page when they re-oh hours/days later then they close the case.

contacting and getting a response from gardening express is extremely difficult, my order has not been processed after 2 weeks and its no longer required as its taken so long, want to cancel the order and get a full refund of my payment asap. Customer service is appalling.

Don't believe there 5 years guarantee, they delivered a flowering plant to me and after 1 month I've realized the plant was not nourishing when I contacted customer service they said I should contact within 14 days for a refund and they refused to refund me. How the customer will know within 14 days if that plant is live or dead

Plants arrived in horrendous condition.Holes in leaves everywhere,black discolouration and very brittle to touch.Wish I’d read reviews of this company before placing order.Customer service is non existent with an automated bot then 30 minutes later get through to an agent who asks for photos and descriptions only to be told there’s nothing wrong.Do not use this company.

I had ordered a lot of plant from them a few arrived damaged I was going in circle on their website to find correct way to inform them no phone number no e mail address web site dont provide any contact details messages system doesnt work in the evening ultimately during weekend endless wait and messages with reference I received messages that they cant replace the plants as more than 15days I was not asking refund but replacement I will never use this stupid place for my garden plants. The web site is created in such a way that you cant get any precise information I think this is intentional so people will give up for any reply I wanted to know is there any way we can make formal compliant against such traders?

Poor all round. Their avoidance of direct contact is for obvious reasons. Nearly three full weeks for delivery whereas most are delivering within 3-5 days as they vaguely quote.  The box of plants arrived crushed and the plants damaged. The plants in general were a lot more expensive and smaller than most suppliers. I will not be using them again and will advise others not to do so.

This company is not fit to trade. How did I ever order from them!!! No way to communicate with them. Take your money and run company. I may get my plants when it's too late to plant them.

Terrible service. I bought it on Gardening Express because I wanted a tree. Somehow I ended up buying three more plants. My plants arrived 20 days after my purchase (instead of the 3-5 working days promised while I was navigating the website) in very poor condition, half-dead and my tree never arrived. I contacted customer services (be aware, they don't have an email or phone number) it took me all day and when they finally engaged with me they ignored my complaint. I will contact my bank and VISA to be refunded for missing items and damaged goods, hopefully, my bank will be professional, differently from gardening express.

Awful company! Ordered large specimen hydrangea costing £40. The ordered turned up two weeks late in a battered box. Once opened I found the Large specimen was in fact a stick with a few leaves on. Completely ripped off and unable to contact the company. In the photos below are the plant delivered and a photo I bought at a garden centre for the same price. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!

Delayed delivery, poor plants, not as described or shown on website - I would not order from here again, nor do I recommend. I posted a question about the hydrangeas not being as described, no response as yet. V poor service.

It's been weeks and weeks since I ordered my plants and still I've received nothing. I've had almost no communication from them. It's impossible to speak to or contact anyone. No email address or phone line and their poxy chat service is awful. This is the worst customer service experience I've ever had. No plants, no answers and no information. Rubbish company. I wish I had never ordered from them in the first place. Please do not shop with this company!!! I will be contacting trading standards very shortly if I don't receive my order. Absolutely dreadful.

My order took weeks to come! When the plant arrived the packaging was badly damaged so I didn't hold out much hope for the plant being in good condition. On opening the plant was full of disease and looking really sick. It was impossible to return the item or get hold of the company. The rest of my order is no longer coming and they say they have refunded. Do not use this site!!!!

Terrible 3weeks to deliver then ferns arrived poorly packed and crushed and 1 of 3 was barely past the spoor stage-i doubt very much they will survive-Rubbish
