Don't go with Admiral!!!!! Don't go with Admiral!!!!! Cheating, My car policy due within the next 05 days. I wanted to know the rate and decide whether to continue the car insurance policy with them, so I updated them my new obtained UK Full license instead of the international driving license which I first taken up my policy with them. My international license and UK full Driving license are both valid, however after updated them the details, THEY CHARGE ME 32.51, whether I like it or not, I'm told that required to pay the charges. This is not a hugh amount to me but I'm not happy to pay coz I feel that I'm been con by them, they should let me know first that charges will be incurred if I need to update them my driving License. Shame of you ADMIRAL!!! I will also to discontinue my house policy with them as well in MAY/22,. NEVER AGIAN TO GO WITH THEM, CON ARTISTS!!!

Terrible company. Used them about 10 years ago and was really impressed with their prices and service. This time round the service has been shocking and they've charged me an autorenewal charge which is a 3rd of the cost of my policy for a renewal I didn't want or authorise. I'd advise using a proper company like Direct Line rather than these these thieves

DO NOT USE ADMIRAL - WASTE OF TIME - LOST 3 HOURS OF MY LIFE and I was only trying to buy an insurance quote - have now bought elsewhere in minutes - thank you Ageas!

Admiral do not care even remotely about their customers, and have dreadful policies put in place for their car insurance. Crash took place 13/03, still no courtesy / hire car on 22/03. Policy states that to receive a courtesy car, their approved garages must approve the repairs on your vehicle. Then, they will be the ones to provide it, not Admiral. The joke is that none of their garages have courtesy cars available until April! So, given this, I pushed to receive a hire car. They state that hire car cannot be provided until one of "Admiral's Approved Technicians" checks the garage's report and approves that the vehicle is repairable. If the garage approves the repairs, that means it's repairable!!! I don't understand who wrote their policy. They seemingly only have one technician working at Admiral, as I have to wait in a queue of other approvals that need completing. Fantastic! Would not recommend Admiral Car Insurance to my worst enemy. Can't wait to take this to the ombudsman...

I spoke to two different people at Admiral, the first was not so helpful and I actually ended up cancelling my car insurance policy after being with the company for 7 years. However I called back and spoke to a lovely Welsh man named Connor Dawson. He had a lovely kind way about him and was very helpful. He found me the best quote possible and brought me back as a customer . So pleased. It goes to show it really matters who you have on the other end of the line!

All was good until had to make a non-fault claim. They decided to write-off my car. Copart has collected the vehicle in 2 days, only after collection Admiral came back with "market value" offer which was in fact a "trade value". I'm working in motor industry for over 5 years and provided them valuations from CAP Hpi and AT Dealer Portal, platforms that are mostly used for underwriting vehicles in UK. They came back with a total increase of £300 which is still over £1000 below retail market value. I'm raising a complaint with Financial Ombudsman Service.

Awful company to deal with, terrible communication. No interest in customer needs. Would not recommend, spend your money elsewhere as they are not a reliable insurance company!!

I had been with Admiral for 3 years and I was disappointed. Even though as a experienced driver of over 10 years, I accepted a black box insurance so I could have a cheaper rate as the other rates I was being quoted was extortionate. When it came to my renewal even though I had a near on perfect score everytime I got my weekly feedback, they tried bumping my car insurance up by an extra £23.69 PCM which is utterly ridiculous and that's why I changed car insurance. There is no loyalty and why boost premiums when they should go down? Especially after 8 years NO claims and the only mark down I got on my driving score was what time I drive. I take my kids to and from school which I stated when I took on the car insurance. Joke.

A non fault accident with an Admiral policy holder. I spent literally hours trying to reach the correct department as followed on their menu system , only to be told having waited 40 minutes that it was a different section so waited a further 30 minutes And the phone just cut off SO fustrating. They have NOT settled my claim which was derisory in the first instant AVOID THIS COMPANY. how they remain in business is a real mystery.

Stay away from this insurance company - the biggest liars. They make you to take out all the policies and covers, so you are under the impression that you are fully protected. However, when you ask for something that you’re entitled to, they don’t give it to you and are extremely unhelpful. I hope the CEO Milena Mondini de Focatiis improves this company’s customer care services.
