Like so many companies, easy to buy from, poor to deal with. Absolutely spanked me on a change of address on my policy. Of course, they "don't charge for changes to your policy" but they just hide it in their charge to your overall yearly policy. £70 quid extra on a yearly policy for a change of two miles is simply not justifiable or acceptable. Car still garaged, no other details changed. £70. Next time, Allianz, use a knife you rob me. Guy I dealt with was totally unprofessional as well. Accused me of fraud because I hadn't changed the details sooner... 48 hours after I moved in I changed the details. Great job.

I had good service from Allianz but on my 3rd year of insuring with them they demanded proof of NCD for the year: I sent Allianz their own letter confirming that I was not liable for an accident and consequently no claim had occured and that my NCB would not be affected. This was from their own employees on their own letterhead. This was judged inadequate proof of NCD even if it was from the insurer themselves. In common with most car insurers you are left with trying to 'prove a negative' meaning prove you have not had an accident. This is difficult. I questioned Allianz governance structure at the time but never got a reply or explanation. If they reject and disown their own correspondence there is a whole issue of what happens if you need to make a claim in the future. I felt very unsettled by this. I moved to e sure who were happy to insure me immediately without any of this nonsence and I recomend them (happy customer, not paid for review) . I also saved approximately £45 by moving. I have had several effortless renewals since then and will continue to use eSure to insure both my family and high end sports car.

Policy covered almost nothing with a lot of hidden charges. A large amount of body damage was done to my car in a private car park and the cost to repair myself was cheaper (and easier) than dealing with them. Praying I don't have any more incidents before this policy ends!

I decided not to log in and even forgot my password for months. The reason is that someone used my password to log into my account somewhere in Asia I have never been to in my life. I was not sure it was safe to log in although I have changed my password. Then, when I wanted to log in and check old emails, I couldn't because I lost the password I recently created. My insurance company, Allianz had automatically renewed my policy and increased my premium to more than 60 percent although I never claimed for more than five years. They also added new purchases like breakdown, windscreen foreign stuff I never even bargain for at my first purchase. This is what I call ''silent theft''. When I called the customer service to protest, I was told that Allianz is an online company. But they sent me a 34 page hard copy when I first bought the insurance, why will they renew my insurance online without my authorization. Thankful to God, I had no money in my account when they tried to steal my money quietly. I have now got a good deal from another insurer and I am happy the deal they gave me. Everything is transparent and although they are online based, they sent me a hard copy and said they will remind me in writing at my renewal date. Be careful! josh
