“Wish I could rate lower. Absolutely ridiculous price per mile of you go over your limit, rude staff (with the exception of a few) and don't work with you to try and help you out. Havent even finished my first year with them and I'm planning on leaving because I'm spending all of my time worrying whether they're just going to cancel my policy.”

“I wish I could give no stars this company is disgusting trying to extort me out of £200 for a cancellation fee my blood is actually boiling please for the love of God stay away they are absolute theives. Abismle customer service. Put a reasonable cancellation policy in place and people will pay it that is crazy and they won't see a penny of it.”

“What an absolute joke of a Company, do yourself a favour people and read all the reviews on here and also on independent review pages. My daughter is 11 months into her insurance and because she has gone to uni (without her car) her premium has gone up by £25. They say this is because her 'occupation' has changed. Not sure how going to uni is classed as an 'occupation' but apparently in 'insurance' language it is ???? Now correct me if I am wrong but i thought premiums were based on risk factors which is why young and new drivers pay a higher premium, so apparently my daughter NOT driving the car warrants an additional premium, explain that one to me? The fact that she is a student hasn't changed since she took the policy out and also having just spoken to her she advises me that she called and spoke to someone a couple of days before leaving for uni to advise them but that operator on that particular day chose not to tell her about additional premiums. I am also dubios of the box giving correct information, funny how my daughter isn't driving the car but it still tells us by email her driving score etc? when I asked if I could cancel the policy I was told there would be no 'no claims' earnt even though we are 11 months into the policy. New Company run by youngsters reading from scripts. Wish I had read the reviews first”

“AWFUL!, I have had my insurance for 6 days (new driver never had it before) and was re assured on the phone it is not a company that rips people off. I was given a name and number to contact if I had any queries, and told their is a 14 day cooling off policy, I rang up this morning to cancel it and the number would not connect. I got through to claims and been told I have to pay £60 to cancel the policy ontop of the £69.00 for the 6 days of insurance I had. I explained I'm ok paying the cover but not the cancellation fee, when I was told I agreed on the phone I requested the phone call to be sent to me and they want to charge me a tenner! DO NOT go with this company”

“Charged me 140 for an extra 1000 miles when I got a quote of 100 at the start of my policy I needed business insurance for 2 weeks and they said it would cost me 340 so obviously I said no, I changed my job occupation and they said that was 340 to change because I was more at risk working in a timber yard than on the railway, so I had to pay it to find out a couple of days later that they charged me for business insurance as well, when I said I didn't want it Stay away from them all they do is charge you stupid money for stuff I'm currently taking them to court”

“They are a scam, surprised how they haven't been shut down yet. Took out insurance and the next day they phone me saying they are going to cancel it because they can insure my address. Surely they wouldn't have given me a quote???? Will get refund but lost £30. If your a student insuring your first car like me I advise you to look somewhere else unless your feeling rich and want to get scammed for your money. Don't even get me started on their customer service I could write a book on that... but overall don't fall for their cheap prices they scam young drivers”

“One of the worst companies I have EVER experienced, upped my insurance from £60 per month to £240 per month on a new car that was not even much of an upgrade. Terrible service and no explanation of their prices.”

“Worst insurers ever. Paid £95 a month which was crap enough but ended up having to fork out £140 extra a few times for more miles. Also either the black box wasn't recording my distance right or they have terrible organisation as id get an email saying I have 45 miles left before driving 10 then my dashboard tells me I've gone over by 5....”

“This company does not even deserve one star. Initially they took more money out of my account for my deposit than agreed . After 6 months I wanted to cancel my policy and was told this would be £60 when I told them I would like to go ahead with cancelling they then changed the price to £164! A whole £104 extra I refused to pay this and got the ombudsman involved which required me to only have to pay the £60 they quoted. Now , a year later after cancelling mybisurance they are contacting me telling me I owe them £635 for an outstanding fee on my account. This company is a joke, money grabbing thirds do not insure your car with them! And their customer advisors are extremely rude also”

“Bought a car for my son, small engine low mileage not modified ( so i thought) the boy come out to fit telematics box and he told me that it had front lowering springs on it!! I am not a mechanic and do not have a clue about cars so i offered to take car to garage to replace the springs they refused cancelled his insurance ( he only been insured 1 week) and we lost £180 insurance money. bought the car in good faith and insured it thinking it was not modified but it has cost alot of money . Really dissapointed in them. Be aware as they are not interested in any offer to make car right. Flat out refusal using " we wont insure now even if you have a garage change springs because its had a modification" i did ask what would happen if a spring broke and he said that is different!! My fault for not knowing it was lowered and i still could nt tell the difference looking at the telematics engineers ford, So we are £180 down and my son is not able to drive. We now have to replace springs and go through getting insurance for a 17 yr old again ..”

“7 months in they cancelled my policy when i asked them to change my post code half mile away do not use these rip of crooks they just want your money they should be investigated and prosecuted for the way they do business preying on new drivers i have a clean driving record its ilegal i will be speaking with trading standards today and may be getting summons to get them in the court room we should all stick together on this company needs to be colsed down.. robert birmingham”
