Absolutely shocking service!! DO NOT BUY INSURANCE WITH THIS COMPANY! No one answers the customer service line, my emails haven’t been responded to but they are quick to take my money!! Awful company

Cancelled my Son's policy with 3 weeks to go (after they've had all of their money) even though I repeatedly contacted them and was told they were going to send an engineer to look at the black box. Subsequently say they shouldn't have said that. Taken legal advice and am following their process ahead of an escalation to the ombudsman. Legal team confirm they have acted unreasonably. Avoid.

So pleased I hung up on them. Put me on hold, put my son on hold, gave me an inflated figure of what I had online, couldn't organise a piXX up in a brewery

do not use this company avoid at all costs! THEY CANCELLED MY INSURANCE 3 MONTHS BEFORE IT WAS DUE TO RENEW. THEY ARE EXPECTING ME TO PAY MONEY TO CANCEL! ALL BECAUSE OF MY BREAKING SCORE OF ONE MONTH WAS 2 POINTS LOWER THAN 30. I HAD TO PAY £300 EXTRA THISYEAR FOR EXTRA MILES! WHICH THEY ARE NOT RENBURCING ME FOR. I HAD TO PAY £250 WHEN I GOT A NEW CAR JUST TO SWAP THE DETAILS OVER! BEEN WITH THE COMPANY JUST 3 MONTHS SHORT OF 5 YEARS. YOU THINK THEY WOULD APPRECIATE LOYAL CUSTOMERS AND TAKE INTO CONSIDERATION. I CAN NEVER EVER GET HOLD OF THE COMPANY BEEN CALLING THEM FOR DAYS. I WAS ON HOLD FOR 4 HOURS AND STILL NEVER GOT THROUGH! WHEN I SPOKE TO SOMEONE SHE DID NOT KNOW A SINGLE THING AND COULD NOT TELL ME HOW MUCH MONEY I WAS DUE OR HOW MUCH I HAVE TO PAY? NOW MY INSURANCE HAS BEEN CANCELLED I AM DOWN A YEARS NO CLAIMS AND I NOW HAVE MORE EXPENSIVE INSURANCE DUE TO IT BEING CANCELLED FOR NO REASON!

**DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!** Customer service appalling. They never respond to emails. Takes ages on hold to get them to answer the phone. Dealing with Autosaint is stressful and painful. I was constantly chasing for a response to my enquiries. I would not recommend to anyone.

Terrible company, I am very surprised that trading standards has not shut them down. My daughter took out car insurance with them, I paid for the full year. Then 3 months later they demand another grand because they say she has done too many miles!! Checked through terms and conditions - nothing in there about max miles, phoned them again and they claim that we were told verbally - before today this was all done online only! Avoid this company at all costs, they are a scam.

Finally done with Autosaint. Around 15 hours on hold in total during my one year. Being told one thing by the customer service team and then being told another thing by the sales team. Today, when chasing my proof of no claims, I discovered that if you phone the SALES line, you get through instantly. They're using COVID as an excuse for ridiculous hold times now, but they were the exact same prior to COVID. Plus, the hold music is awful and will probably be stuck in my head for the rest of my life. Don't go with Autosaint if you're ever planning on spending a night or two away from home because they'll try and charge you £300 to add a second address. I seriously wouldn't take out a policy with Autosaint if it was free of charge. Their black boxes spurt out useless information and they were never able to tell me why my driving scores kept going down. One young sounding guy suggested that I go on a drive and avoid driving around areas with lots of pot holes to increase my driving scores. Why should I have to do that???? I'm not a moaner, but their customer service is a NIGHTMARE. Avoid at all costs!!!! Look through every other review of this company, I'm not the only one.

What went right. Hours and hours on telephone to get through to someone No reply to numerous emails sent Unable to give details of speeding areas by how much speeding Cancelled policy just as 2 months without any payments starts - like many others Notified on numerous occasions that password suddenly stopped working on dashboard ( Again like many others) sent email after 5 telephone calls which did not reset it and then get notification of cancellation - i hope as a company you are proud of your reviews - Trust pilot 93% bad - you are scamming young drivers and affecting their driving lives for year to come by cancelling policies SHAME ON YOU- i hope the ombudsmen treat you with the respect you deserve when i have finished reporting you with many others who are joining me.

If I could put 0 starts I would. I have rang them every single day that they are open for hours and hours on end for the last 4 weeks ! No one picks up. But as soon as I chose to ring the new policy department or renewals department they answer within minutes. They don’t want to hear about what I want to tell me someone is going to call me back. I’ve waited 4 weeks for this call back. I have also emailed them 7 times and no reply. I then received a email to tell me that my insurance is up this months and what the cost would be for my insurance for the coming year. As soon as I replied to this email I got a reply back within 5 minutes. Purely for the fact they know they would be getting more money out of me.

Autosaint turned out to be the worst service I’ve ever used, scammed me out of £60 saying my car was modified because I have alloys (even though they are standard issue) constantly lowering my driving score until I was under the agreed upon score without telling me until I was on the verge of having my contract voided. Basically if you go below 33% breaking score then your screwed (you can’t check the score without calling them up for an hour) but it seems any kind of breaking other than rolling to a dead stop lowers this massively, I was at uni and didn’t drive anywhere meaning because I did less trips the average bad breaking was super low, I tried explaining I only drove about 12 hours a month tops but they just told me to go and drive more just to make my score better (real good for my petrol budget and the environment). No drive under 15mins seemed to register meaning these drives had to be long, plus this was during the peak times of corona when I wasn’t supposed to be out as I had my 80y gran staying with me. If anything the company seems to want to put more people in danger than they are helping, making people drive about aimlessly all trying to avoid the break pedal. From the looks of the rest of the reviews either people got screwed around and hate the ‘service’ if you can call it that with the non existent customer service department, or the bots loved it and had no issues blaming the countless others all with the same issues instead of themselves. DONT GO AUTOSAINT, it’s worth an extra couple hundred on the bill to go with more than or admiral

Cancelled my insurance after sending out two warnings for me “ braking harshly “ not taking into account the fact that how hard you brake is dependant on what’s around you. Also making me pay the remainder of the yearly insurance even though they’re not covering me?

I have been with auto saint for 3/4 years and never had an issue with them, they fitted my telematics box no bother and have been decreasing my premium rate with each renewal, however my most recent experience they tried to TRIPLE my quote and I fear I was being taken advantage of. sorry to be leaving.

have been messed about by this car insurance ever since I started my policy, they have a problem with my braking, where I park my car at night. I have been trying for the past week to change an address on my policy as I am only allowed to park my car at two addresses over night and not once have I been put through to and advisor. there is no indication on the website that they are closed due to covid and all the lines are still active, I have also emailed and yet still heard no response, I am not happy with this car insurance. too expensive for the service I have been given.

Virtually impossible to get in touch with them. They emailed my daughter to say they were going to cancel her policy in 7 days unless she contacted them about the address she was parked at. (It was during lockdown and she was staying at her boyfriends house) She tried for hours to call them and emailed them but could not get through. They have now written to say they are cancelling her policy. Their logo is 'looking out for you' lol! I don't think so!!

Just renewed my car insurance and it was all done over the phone with a quick and easy call. The lady on the phone was very helpful and clear in what she was saying which made it efficient.

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS INSURER. Took me a month to get in contact with them regarding a change to my policy! Then took 2 and a half weeks to actually cancel my policy! ended up selling my car still insured to auto saint and was paying 2 lots of car insurance!! disgusting!!!!
