Giving 1 star is generous!.. completely rip you off at every chance .. always charging for changing slight things on policy.. upgrading with extra mileage is very expensive. They can change with a click on their p.c but charge you stupid money..I can't wait to leave .. don't insure with them!!!

I have been insured with auto saint since October and not had any major problems within this time. Whenever I have had any questions or queries I have rung up and been dealt with almost straight away and always had my problems resolved by the customer service team. I also rung to change my number plate as I just got a private registration and they couldn’t have been more helpful with this. The only problem I have had since been insured is my dashboard going down and not updating quickly, it usually takes a day or two to update which is abit annoying. Other than this there are no problems with this insurance company and I think it is a great company to be insured with for my first years car insurance. However, other insurance companies do money back for good driving or more offers which autosaint doesn’t offer much but the insurance company alone are very good!

Absolutely horrible company. Staff are not helpful, charged me more than £120 to change my address on a piece of paper! Now they want to charge me another £1600 for extra 3000 miles although I already have paid £1300 for my insurance, so extra miles are way more expensive than the actual insurance! AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Its good if you live in the city where traffic hardely moves and bad if you live in the country where your pulling out onto 60mph roads as you get rated down on accceleration where you dont want to be rear ended! If you dont work on your car in the year as testing breaks after replacing brought my ratings right down and never budged up afterwards. So perfect if you drive like a oap but not for general driving

Absolutely disgraceful service! DO NOT TOUCH WITH A BARGE POLE! Extremely rude, incompetent staff! I would’ve got more helpful information from the company cleaner! Their website is filled with lies as is the whole company! The company refused to come to my place of work even after stating this is no problem on the website! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY! Extortionate cancelling fees, help yourself out and look elsewhere!

Awful customer service, no understanding of my problems, no benefit of the doubt on my part and extortionate charges incurred at every corner. Disgusting that they claim to 'champion' young drivers, nothing more than a scam that takes advantage of inexperienced drivers and their willingness to pay unnecessary fees.

DO NOT GET CAR INSURANCE WITH THIS COMPANY. I ended up paying £3250 for my first year of insurance - WITH A BLACK BOX. My speed has never been out of a green zone, with my other scores in yellow so this was not a case of me being charged for poor driving.

Awful company. Don't waste your time or money. Cancelled within 14 days due to finding out that A) they were going to charge me £180 for installation of blackbox (no mention of this online hmm..) and B) that another provider would fit my blackbox for free AND only charge half the amount as a deposit with breakdown cover included as standard (premium was also a tenner cheaper, go figure). After waiting 45 mins to get through to someone to cancel, they told me they would charge £50 for the time I had driven (just over a week, fair enough I suppose) and a £60 cancellation fee (not 100% sure they can do that as I was in my 14d c/o period but whatever). This would be taken off the deposit I paid which they would refund to me "within" 30 days I could just about grit my teeth and leave it at that if it wasn't for the fact that their "within 30 days" and my "within 30 days" seem to be two different things. It's been well over a month and I am STILL waiting for my refund. I'm now sitting with a ridiculous amount on my credit card as I had to pay the other companies deposit up front also. (although even with all this hassle and charges I have still saved around £300...). I should also mention when I chased it recently, they initially had the refund amount down for me as £100 less than it actually was...I pray this has been corrected or I'll have to bear another 45 min phone call... Do yourself a favour and go with admiral, direct line, or just anyone who has at least a two star review

Cancelled my insurance as driving score at 49 with black box taking £2000 of my money after only 4 months of insurance as I paid for a year . When I asked for the refund for the last 8 months at first they said yes . Next day I go to get refund and was told I was given wrong info ! Said there was a claim open so I cannot have money back even though it was a non fault claim ! Absolutely discussing service ! Might be slightly cheaper but in long run not at all !!

They make out on their website that you have 14 days to decide whether or not you've chosen the right insurance company. My car was written off on the 13th day of my insurance in the evening so I cancelled my policy on the 14th day and was still charges £400 for 2 weeks of usage! If I ever get a new car I will not be going back to Autosaint.

Autosaints Only positive was that it was the cheapest insurance I could get! However after 2 months they have now cancelled my insurance stating that my driving score was consecutively below the required score of 50 and I full well know I have been driving within speed limits and within any times that would further affect this (most of the time I was sat in traffic) being unable to log into my dashboard to review my driving scores I had to email and recover the account which still persists to decline me access and with poor service have been able to recover the account for over a month I hope this review comes in handy to some young drivers because you need to stay well away from autosaints

I agree hold time is unacceptable and my call was dropped on multiple occasions. The tracker says my driving score is low due to harsh breaking. I have an old car with older breaks (about to be replaced) - I think they should take this into consideration. Other fault is that my car has broken on two separate occasions and I have had to pay over £200 for a new tracker to be installed. Not sure why they can't use the old tracker. I have offered to swap the old tracker myself (as my dad is an autoelectrician and has fitted them on multiple occasions) but was refused. Cheap insurance if your car is unlikely to break. I've been with them for two years and am about to renew for another as prices are always competitive. Staff are helpful and friendly - shame the call waiting time is so long.
