This company is obviously a scam. No one can contact you, your claims department is non existent, and no employee in your company (if there are any) ever have any intention of responding to clients. Do NOT choose insurance cover with this company. i have reported you to the appropriate bodies. Have fun dealing with the aftermath of your shit storm. also planning a class action suite if anyone has had similar issues and wishes to get involved PM me.

Dreadful company! Staff completely inefficient and incapable of solving problems. Insured 12th December 2016, had a call whilst on my way to the airport saying price had increased. Accepted the increase as I couldn't do anything else at such short notice. Yesterday I got a text message saying they wouldn't accept my no claims bonus even though it had been sent in December. Re-sent. Wouldn't accept that and wanted verbal confirmation from other insurance company as 2 months had lapsed. I used to be an insurance broker and I have to say they are the most incompetent, inefficient company I have ever come across. Completely avoid this company!!

Do not bother unless you never plan on claiming which can happen to anyone. I was hit by someone else on a roundabout from behind. I did the normal thing of reporting it immediately....well I planned to, I was put on hold for hours eventually the only way I could get through was via making a complaints department. It was obviously the opposite parties fault although the opposite party desputed it although had admitted fault at the time of the incident. To get my car repaired I was expected to pay the god awful high excess and told it was unlikely I would get it back even if it was found to not be my fault. Eventually I got some sense out of someone to begin with and seemed helpful, now I cannot get through to them. 4 months later still no progress car still damaged after ignored emails, and unable to get through via telephone, lesson learnt don't take out the cheapest premium just to be "legal". Once my insurance expires I will certainly not be going back. Absolutely awful customer service, so I am left with a damaged car which I will have to pay to get repaired privately, ridiculous.

I had an accident and had a nightmare with axa and vision all together from start to finish they took a week to collect my Audi s3 2.0 and left me with a pathetic 1.0 fiesta with unbalanced wheels and dangerous this company is absolutely discusting and would advise highly nobody uses these for car insurance in the future

I was involved in a road traffic accident on 21st January and still haven't been able to speak to anyone at AXA, despite calling many times and sitting on hold for hours. I have emailed and been told I would receive a response within 3 days. Still not heard anything and emailed again. I've paid for my car to be repaired as I need it even though the accident wasn't my fault and the other party admitted liability. Won't be renewing with AXA. Luckily I work near their head office so will be paying them a visit tomorrow.

Aful customer service when making a claim that's not my fault, got through after 1.5hrs to someone who took all the details from a 3rd party company they employed to take all details. Promised a call bank next day, 2 days later no call and having to sit in another que currently...been waiting 55mins so far. Absolute joke, think before buying withAXA

Their head office and branches don't communicate. Go to someone else. These people couldn't run a bath.

Don't buy from these. Every time I want to talk to someone I am on hold for at least 20 mins. They never call back. Lets hope the rest of my claim is better but I doubt it. Zero customer service

A driver ran into the back of me. He admitted liability. Spoke to AXA, asked to take my car to a garage 18 miles away for an assessment. To be fair to them, called back and requested repair company who collected. All fine. The courtesy car has been a bloody nightmare, the rep put the fear of god into me warning how much I would have to pay even if an accident wasn't my fault unless I took out additional excess waiver insurance. Cars not delivered or collected - despite the other insurance company confirming payment of everything I have endless hours on the phone, virtually sorted out my own courtesy car. Given that the accident was not serious and not my fault, the whole experience has been seriously stressful. The insurance was not that much cheaper to go through all of this aggro. In the past, have accident, garage collect car, leave courtesy car, car repaired, courtesy car taken away - simples - if you are not insured with AXA.

The phone number to contact is in UK. I need to pay extra money to be able contact them from another country. At least AXA must have toll free or local number in Canada or USA.

I cancelled my car insurance in December and they then charged me in January, when I rang up to ask whether this would be refunded, she said I paid up to a year, even though I had had my account for over a year, then continued to not answer my direct questions, very frustrating and in the end had to just leave without my money, plus a £50 cancellation fee. Very suspect, not to trusted!!!

I have a claim going through at the moment (not my fault, other driver has admitted liability). If it wasn't for me calling them I would never get updates, I've had to ring the Fords garage to get information! Yesterday (3rd Jan 2017) I tried calling 5 times, the last time I waited on hold for 1hr 30mins and I gave up! Rubbish! I left a message on their Facebook page and was promised a call back today (4th Jan 2017), it's now 15:45 and still no call? Your service is terrible! I will 100% be going elsewhere on renewal. Call me ASAP because I am fuming!!!

Hard to get in touch, they dont respond to emails, first email I got said somebody will get back to me within 45 days!!! Yes 45 days!!! Not 4-5days,45 fuck*ng days. I ve to pay the excess despite it being not my fault. And they took my NCD of me 3 weeks before renewal despite the accident not being my fault. People on the phone seem so arrogant and not interested at all.

I rang to report an accident just over a week ago. I waited nearly an hour to get through. when I finally did, the office had closed, and a call handler took my details and said someone would ring me back the next day. Nothing since, and I've been unable to get a response since. I have never had cause to claim on car insurance before, and had no idea it would be this stressful. If I ever get through to anyone and get this sorted I know I will be looking elsewhere for my car insurance when it is due for renewal
