When I tried to leave a negative review here, I see so many negative reviews were already here. It seems we have reach a common that AXA is fraud to customers. So why this company still opens. After four months, I received a slow response: I am refused to be reimbursed because of I am not returning to residence country. So ridiculous. I already come back to residence country and provide the proof to them. They ignored that. If you don’t want to reimburse customers, why you sold insurance? Totally cheating. Stop using AXA.

Price for the renewal for home insurance gone up 44 percent this year without making any claim. Absolutely mental. Never seen that with any insurance company.

AXA insured my car on behalf of a lady renting my 18 plate Toyota Hybrid in March of last year. The car was stolen from the renter in April of last year and AXA have had my car from April until today. Over the last 9 months I have been denied access to my car and a damage report. Eventually after 8 months and being treated like muck on their shoe, was allowed my car back as long as I was okay with the pending claim being void. I reluctantly agreed to this as the car had already depreciated thousands of pounds to that date. Also, it did not look like they were any closure to processing the claim after 8 months. Moving forward to day I received my car back with 3-4 thousand pounds of damage and to add insult to injury the car has sustain further damage while in AXA’s possession and supposed care at carport in Chester. This further damage of wiring chewing, seat chewing and rat excrement will more than likely amount to further thousands in cost. To say I am livid is an understatement. I would recommend all friends, family and all the general public give this company a wide birth. It seems the company is ran by a bunch of Charlatans!!! I have been wholly mistreated and thousands of pounds out of pocket, please don’t make the mistake of paying to be their customer!!!

AXA travel insurance is a fraud. I filed a claim back in October 2023 for 150 euros. I have been contacting them monthly, but I have not heard back from them. I don't recommend this travel insurance company.

Be aware, I've just received my renewal, and AXA has made some major changes to the schedule that are not highlighted, and you wouldn't notice unless you checked your policy! It has also gone up significantly for an inferior policy, the cover is not the same, a totally different product! I will be calling them on Monday, really disappointed. The star was for contacting me!

The worst insurance company

Subject: My Frustrating Experience with AXA Insurance I've been driving for 20 years, and I can confidently say that dealing with AXA Insurance has been the worst experience I've ever had with an insurance company. Their communication is virtually nonexistent, making the entire process incredibly frustrating. After waiting over 30 minutes on the phone, they pick up only to hang up on you, and it's impossible to speak to anyone in authority. I've made over 20 calls to the company, and my claim is still stuck in limbo. The customer service, engineering team, and senior team are appalling. Despite promises of call backs, I receive one call and a voicemail saying they'll contact me again, only to hear nothing afterward. To add insult to injury, I've been without a car for nearly 40 days because I failed to tick a box for a courtesy car, despite paying for fully comprehensive coverage. The claims process is painfully slow, and they write off cars based solely on pictures, sending settlement amounts without agreement. In short, AXA Insurance has proven to be unreliable and far from providing a stress-free insurance experience. I strongly advise anyone to steer clear of AXA if they want a reliable and hassle-free insurance experience.

Don't trust on agents and their attractive plan , I have been trapped and misguided by AXA agents for purchasing the policy.

I would have given no stars if it had that option. Don't waste your time with your money there are far better insurance companies if you try to make a claim on your policy that will give you all the rebuttals of why they should not pay you out on your policy and mine was about a TV and they wouldn't even help with that and they had the cheek to say we are renewing your policy. Like I said they are far better home insurance companies

A simple claim that just goes on and on , over 5 months to get a repair to my car which has now been damaged in the repair shop, countless phone calls to a company that just doesn't care .

Absolutely the worst car Insurance company in the entire world. Never ever even think about using this terrible car insurance company. They will not pay your claim. They will not even answer your call. Stay as far away from this insurance company or you will certainly regret it.

I have a very bad experice with AXA Insurance. I had a flight delay on one trip, and a theft on another. when I called and emailed them on the numbers provided on the document, no one ever picked up. not at all. I emailed a few times. No one ever replied. No one ever after I solved the problems and returned to the US, and when I tried to file the claims, they created unreasonable barriers, such as wanting me to provide evidence from the airline about why the flight was delayed, with the whole purpose of not paying. never again, and avoid all you can. they spend a lot of money in online marketing. hope you can read my experince and avoid the trap. never again.

I have used Saga insurance products for years for Home, Travel and Car and always found them fantastic. Unfortunately, we had an accident in our car recently and Saga handed us over to the mercies of AXA who are the underwriters. They have been abysmal. It has taken us almost three weeks to get to the stage where the repairs can be carried out. They asked to collect the car this afternoon and I made it abundantly clear that I could not be left without a car as we are going away on holiday on Monday. The car is driveable and so we would have just about managed with it until we got back. Our policy states that we are entitled to a guaranteed replacement car. They said that it shouldn't be a problem but they could not organise the replacement car until our car was collected. Within half an hour of collection they emailed me to inform me that they were not going to provide a replacement car - even though it states guaranteed on the policy - because they don't provide cars for holiday use. They must have known that before they picked up the car and we would have asked them to wait to collect the car until our return. They have left us stranded, I am a Blue Badge holder, we are both elderly and they do not care. Disgusting service and basically downright lies.

In May 2022, while driving down our road, a car parked on a solid white half on pavement set off causing a clip of mirrors, we pulled the lady driver in & told her off, she said "RIGHT" & drove, without exchanging details. There was no damage so we forgot all about it. One month later we were contacted by a man from AXA claims, asking if there was any damage to our car, we said no, no damage to either car, he said, ok, I'll close this claim. Two days later we got a letter & claim form, phoned AXA claims & spoke to another man who said, It went out before Michael closed it down. I said do we need to do anything, he said no, bin the letter & claim form & forget all about it. We did. 12 months later we got bombarded with emails & text messages from AXA data team threatening to invalidate our insurance unless we accepted a fault claim on our forms. We tried for two days to get through to claims team, then half a day before getting through to help team to ask how to resolve this, the lady said you'll have to put a fault claim on both your forms, I wasn't going to do this so told her to do it, she did, charged me £28 saying you will get the money back when it's all sorted. Then a few weeks later my wife got her renewal with a fault claim against her with an increase of £120. No mention of it being sorted & all gone quiet now they've scammed us for £148.
