No option to go lower than one star. DO NOT BOTHER. Quick to take your money but when trying to get hold of claims department be prepared to wait over an hour and when you finally think you’ve got through they hang up!!

Worst insurance ever. Would not pay. They ask for all kinds of docs to submit but in the end, they would not pay by say it's not included in the policy. So basically every single CS doesn't know what they are doing.

What went wrong everything from calling in October 2019 till this day still trying to avoid paying out, coming back with offers a 3rd of the quotes these scammers are a joke why this company still exists I will never know they should be closed down and all money returned to the customers. Take a insurance out with anyone apart from AXA you got more chance getting a reply from a company on the moon, they will avoid paying out, it is a disgusting corrupt company how the MD is still there amazes me with the amount of complaints they receive daily he don't seem to give a dam like the rest of the staff who are very limited with knowledge and looks like TRAINING is a swear word, politeness and caring about customers to get repeat business you will get none of that just some dunce on the phone that can barely speak that's if you wake them up. AVOID AT ALL COSTS YOU WILL NOT BE PAID OUT JUST ROBBED WITH A FEW POOR EXCUSES THROWN IN. ALL POTENTIAL CUSTOMER DO NOT BUY INSURANCE FROM AXA.

Given them one star as it doesn't go any lower. If you are a small business stay well clear. AXA and their loss adjusters have one purpose and that is to avoid paying out or limiting your claim. As a small business they assume you will not have the funds to make a legal challenge when they dump you. Don't assume the Financial Ombudsman Service will come to your aid they have no commercial awareness at all although can sort your washing machine claim or ppi claim. Record and photo/video everything and record every conversation.

Never get positive response. People handling case were very rude from the beginning of 1st call. It took 3 months to here no from them at last they said they close the case because I have withdrawn it. I feel cheated not because I did not get any claim but because the way they handled it.

C22089437 Awful company to do business with. They try anything to delay their claims. Constantly lie to you. You contact senior management and any complaints ignored. They dont care about customers just your premiums.

Two bad experiences is two too many, and that's exactly what we experienced with AXA home insurance. First involved the loss of a ring, which involved long and unpleasant conversations with AXA before receiving the payment which was clearly due to us, the second concerned a claim for storm damage to a fence which one part of the policy says it covers and another says it doesn't. Deliberate or not, it's a sneaky business practice which confirms my view that AXA insurance is not worth having. I have lodged a complaint, but with very little hope of receiving an honest response.

Would never use Axa again for car insurance. Terrible customer service, can never get through on the phone and they dont return your emails.

Think very carefully before taking out insurance with Axa. It may be cheap but that is because you get nothing when you make a genuine claim. Check the small print.

Just to say was going to have medical travel insurance with AXA but having read reviews don’t think I’ll bother, they sound a nightmare of a company, and me thinking because they were a big long time company they would be ok.

A terrible morally corrupt and ethically fraudulent crowd of business bandits, who would rob you off your last penny. Peddling misery and financial hardship. Avoid at all cost.

Seems competitive insurance until your involved like me where I was rear ended by a careless driver speeding in snowy conditions, there paralegal senior sounded like a bumbling teenager who made false comments ,this company who juggle millions in a lucrative business have no moral obligation to defend any of there clients if there is any resistance from the opposing site & only do what's financially viable to them, hopefully a pattern will eventually emerge and the trading standards will look into it.

Never in my life took time to write a review untill I joined axa .. Call times are like nothing I’ve ever experienced.. staff clearly don’t want to be they’re attitudes are appalling, copart using sales pitch to make offer for total loss 4 hours after incident without anyone even seeing a photo. Endless promised call backs. No ownership or problem solving skill whatsoever.. avoid at all costs everyone on here aren’t lieing!!!! Also few months back they sent repairs team to fix a key and ended up snapping the key in barrel making situation 100% worse.. new barrel was fitted with old car key mismatched a new key soldered together claiming to be a genuine part that’s currently with ombudsman and so will my accident claim be soon by look of it.

Had to make a claim as I was hit by an over seas HGV... I wish I paid for the repairs out of my own pocket. When other reviews say about sitting on hold for an hour onwards they are being deadly serious. When I reports a lorry had hit us not once was I ask if I or the family are okay. I was told at best it will take 9 months and I’ve lost my NCD although being fully comp. If they can’t get hold of the lorry’s insurance details although I have sent them over it will go down as a fault claim... I doubly I will receive my payout although they have my car. I doubt there are any decent insurance companies out there and it’s really put me off driving. Seriously stressed out over this and not been contacted once. Also WHEN you get through the claims team obviously don’t care and are rude. Only happy when they take you money...

Been with AXA for years and made one claim. Our car was robbed in Barcelona, my wife was being chased across a car park. I ran over to see what was going on. Whilst I was in pursuit 3 bags were stolen from the car. AXA refused to pay out as I didn’t stop and lock the car before I gave chase. I am disgusted with them. It took 4 months for them to eventually tell me I was getting nothing

Endless waiting times + missing money I'm in contact with AXA since October and now end of January the process is still going on. I've send countless messages and everytime you wait days, if not weeks till you get an answer. Sometimes with the same information you had already thrown at you again. The worst thing tho is that they don't want to pay me back all the money from my car rental, although the damage is clearly listed as covered in the document I received when signing the contract. It's dissapointing. Never AXA again.
