“Don't go anywhere near them. They are not a trustworthy insurance provider. We took out a car insurance with BG on 21st February 15, they are not the cheapest but chose them because of all the good reviews on this pages but missed out the bad one on google reviews , it took them 5 days to send me all related docs by email. It took 19 days for them to send an email asking for required documents and almost two months later they called and wrote, demanding more payment as they said the documents are not met their requirements. They did not called back as they said they would, they ignored my complaint email and all they care about is sending letter demand for payment and threat to cancel the policy. If they behave like this within the initial 14 days, I would have chance to cancel the policy with them without second thought but now I have no choice but fight back – stressful. Avoid them if you can!!!!”

“i was happy with the service i received. The gentleman on the phone knew his stuff and helped me where necessary when things wasn't clear, and got me the best deal out of many quotes i received. Ref num - CH91”

“3rd year of insuring with BG, not had any issues yet. Always been able to get through on phone when renewing, only down side is the amount of time waiting listing to the background music being told my call is important when being changed from one department to another, upside of it though was told that my premium had gone down from the one sent in the post. :-). Would I recommend, yes I would say to anyone give them a call.”

“insurance company failed to update my vehicle on their system. they requires copy of both driving licence, proof of address with utility bill, picture of the van mileage clock etc etc. they requires these documents to take policy and to update a vehicle even though same address!!!! no paper correspondence. only email which goes to spam box!!!!!!!! they don't send any paperwork by post, only take money....no phone call or other correspondence. i had a fully clean licence for 12 years. because of their ...i repeat their technical fault i have 6 points and 450 pounds fine and 620 to release my vehicle!!! whoever reading this.. my advice.......to you....please insure with big companies who are well known even though they are slightly expensive. BG again na na never. i had insurance with them only for 3 months. i had enough with cheap companies. gooooood luck bg cheap policy”

“The only document most insurance companies require is a proof of no claims. You have asked for a long list of documents which is a pain and hard to get somewhere to scan them all.”
