“Worst experience ever. Insured car with Elephant, stolen the following day. Claim denied costing £15k. Escalating to Financial Ombudsman m, total nightmare. STAY AWAY THERE ARE HUNDREDS OF INSURANCE COMPANIES BE CAREFUL OF WEBSITES LIKE CONFUSED.com and money supermarket.com as you get what you pay for.”

“While I was checking my bank statement, I have noticed that ELEPHANT.CO.UK has taken £1,004,64 from my bank account without my consent on the 31st of December 2019I am very disappointed and concerned about ELEPHANT CO.UK. dealings with their customers. Even though I have not informed ELEPHANT CO.UK. about continuing my insurance policy for 2020, ELEPHANT CO.UK. has taken the liberty to take £,1004,64 from the bank account, which I believe that ELEPHANT CO.UK. should not taken any unauthorised payment from my account at all. I would not like to purchase any of ELEPHANT CO.UK. products now or in the future as ELEPHANT CO.UK. is taking advantage of your customer’s trust and charging them the amount which was not authorised.”

“had an accident that wasnt my fault and i had recovery car, they ask me to pay 90£ to collect the car and the car was only 6miles away from home .. im waiting for them to collect my car since wednesday to repair and till now they didnt gave me a courtesy car they say i have to wait to for them to collect the car and make a quote. thats not fair they should gave a courtesy car since the accident”

“My daughter has had a no-fault accident which the other party admitted. It has been over a year since the accident and she has still not received a payout despite accepting the offered amount. Elephant will simply not part with the money.”

“Had the worst experience ever with Elephant Insurance (owned by Admiral). After we were involved in a crash, their "investigator" failed to get CCTV footage that showed the other driver was liable. They then said that their investigation was based on photos both drivers supplied and Google Maps. Despite being told that as their was no CCTV footage that both drivers would be held liable, Elephant then rolled over and said that I was fully liable, rather than sharing equal responsibility because the other driver was claiming more money - all because they took over 30 days to get the CCTV footage, by which point it had been erased. Would advise you steer clear of Elephant and any of the Admiral insurance groups.”

“Good service. No problems. Professional and knowledgeable staff. Only left because I found a cheaper renewal elsewhere. When I did leave the cancelation docs and No Claims Bonus Certificate were emailed to me within minutes. Thanks”

“UK Elephant/Admiral/Diamond group insurance is the worse and most terrible insurance company ever. They are only concerned about your money but very terrible in customer service. Don't use them at all. I used them for 2 terms of 24 months and when I was leaving, they caused me so much pain and destroyed my credit score for a tiny amount without sending me any email to sort it out after one month I changed to another insurer. Run away from this company.”

“Still on hold, phoning to talk about auto renewal for my insurance, I received the auto renewal today via email. When setting up the policy last year i requested auto renewal taken off, my new quote is £980 my other quotes online are £580 so trying to discuss it with them. So far as i write this i have been holding for 1.09.28 minutes... This is absolutely shocking service for a paying customer... If they are this desperate to keep the renewal higher than everyone else then they have lost my trust in an insurance company”

“The service is always amazing with Elephant and that is why I keep going back to them. They always make sure they can help me. I have never had a bad phone call with them, I don't know how they do it but they are always so positive and bubbly and genuinely care about what they can do to help. I just got off the phone to Corey after receiving an email that was confusing. He cleared everything up for me and was very pleasant to speak with. I would recommend them! Their staff are amazing and so lovely to speak with.”

“I have my car insurance with Elephant and they charged me 30 pounds extra for this month with no email to inform me. It is really hard to get hold of them and to reset the password it takes a day. Absolutely not happy with them and would not recommend.”

“They've "decided" that they will not assist me in prosecuting the local council for a pothole which ripped the front wheel and suspension off my car rendering it a write off,when I have paid for legal cover. Will never use again,theyre whole handling of the claim has been lacklustre from start to finish to say the least. AVOID THIS SHOWER!!!!”
