don’t go with Lloyds unless you want to be on hold for 2 hours and then finally get through and they say oh you have to go to another department and transfer over straight away then it’s another 2 hour wait I’ve been trying to get my account back online for 5 weeks now (my online banking) absolute terrible service

I took out car insurance last year and the policy was very competitive but this year’s quote was approx 30% hike. Pigs at the trough come to mind especially after what we have all suffered this last year. Very disappointed. It doesn’t pay to be loyal,or maybe I ought to say they would like you to be loyal and pay for the privelidge. No thank you.

Sheer and utter disappointment in the enticing initial offers which were subsequently eliminated when it came to pay Sharks in suits - beware

Every time when I call them I have to wait more than one hour, and then they switch off the line The most disaster company I can see

Oh dear. I recently had to ring Lloyds from Australia in relation to my parents account on which I hold Power of Attorney. I was greeted with 'Hello'. When I asked who I was speaking to the reply was 'I've already told you once'. I mentioned that I was calling from Australia and didn't catch her name. She then very kindly gave it to me. Where on earth are these call centre staff being trained. The problem unfortunately wasn't resolved. I am hoping to call my parents local branch and hope to get better service and a resolution.

I recently got myself scammed, no fault of Lloyds, feeling distressed and at my wits end at a busy time I finally got through to the fraud dept. I was treated with total respect and eventually had my problem solved, I am truly grateful and appreciate the way my problem was handled by a lovely young man,Richard is his name though he didn't ask for recognition. My account being blocked I had to call again for help to get it unblocked and again I had patience and respect from the lovely Welsh man whose name I cant recall. I can't thank you enough for a caring respectful and understanding service

* After we went for our first appointment with a mortgage advisor. I had Experian, phone me, they basically asked me why I had submitted a mortgage application 7 times in one day. Turns out the mortgage advisor had submitted our details into there system, 7 times, incorrectly. We was unable to go to a different bank after this for another quote. As our Experian score had gone from excellent to poor and it took us some time to sort this out. * The 1st direct debit was set up incorrectly. Which meant we was charged a mortgage arrears charge of £35. *We contact Lloyd's and sorted this out but for some reason the mortgage arrears was still left on the account. *I rang, I emailed, I sent letters and I was unable to remove the mortgage arrears on my mortgage even though we got the money back for it. *Even though I complained a number of times and got our money back for the mortgage arrears, each time they paid us the money, they put the money directly onto the mortgage account and not the mortgage arrears, meaning it was still left on. In fact it did not go off, until, I finally had enough of them and decided to switch bank. *I wouldn't trust this bank at all and just so you know, they also own Halifax and Scottish widows, that I know of. *I wont be doing business with them again or any other company they own.

Lloyds bank are offering customers a free film subscription to RakutenTV. My advice is DO NOT ACCEPT it. Rakuten take your credit card details and then its virtually impossible to unsubscribe or delete the account. Their account simply does not offer this facility.

Having had buildings and contents insurance with Lloyd's Bank for years I took out a new higher level insurance last year after my husband passed away in order that I knew I would be covered in an emergency. I rang to make a claim giving full details and they sent someone out to be told my claim wasn't covered and I hadn't given correct details of the problem. Obviously the claims handler didn't note the details correctly. I am absolutely furious to be told its my problem and not theirs. I told them to listen to the recorded telephone call but no difference. I will never use this company again.

My daughter ordered various items from a company but when the box arrived it was empty. After the company refusing to replace items my daughter opened a complaint with Lloyds bank. The Lloyd's bank upheld the other parties refusal to refund or replace leaving my daughter with no goods and over £500 lost. Currently looking to take the bank through the small claims court. Cannot believe they did not protect my daughters interests or money! Do not put your faith in this bank

Lloyds Bank are quite simply dreadful They have a slogan... "by your side" This slogan is false in every sense They are not by anyone's side... Staff are pompous self important and hostile... They hate questions about service or process They closed my accounts without warning leaving me with no account bank card or money Truly a bank that should have their FCA license withdrawn Even their CEO is leaving after such poor performance Never go here and run if you already bank with them Atrocious Bank

During the coronovirus, Lloyd's has been supportive. I asked for the £500 free overdraft and received a confirmation of this within a couple of days. Lloyd's has now extended my three month limit until the end of July. This has come in my time of financial need. As I have now been furloughed for the second time. A big thank you to Lloyd's!

Rang to resolve an ambiguity in a letter from Lloyds. Took over an hour to speak to someone and they transferred me as no resolution was forthcoming. I found myself back in the loop and eventually gave up. As ever, very poor service and treat customers like sxxxx. Probably change my bank very soon if there is any hope at all out there. Lloyds have done me no favours in 40 years of custom although I have always had money in my account.

Two months of trying to gain internet access to a charity account. Another 32 mins wait time today only to be, again, asked to confirm two recent transactions - on the account they won't give me access to. Can you see the problem? Lloyds can't. They must be haemorrhaging customers. It would have been quicker to transfer the account to another Bank - and it may still come to that. Diabolical customer service.

To anyone considering moving to this bank I can't stress enough to reconsider your choice, make a complaint about there service advisors give you contradictory information, without a long drawn review il give an example Asked to speak to atm disputes team was passed on to an advisor ask what department he worked for general customer services he says and I quote. Then when I stated that I wanted to speak to atm disputes he followed on to say that, that's the department he worked for after telling me he didn't. Atm despute team refused to take my call despite them advising you to call on a number provided which always takes you back to general advisors. Ask to speak to speak to complaints department was advised by a number of advisors that the department was closed and they where unable to transfer my call this has gone on for 48 hours then today 13/01/20 spoke to an advisor who transferred me straight through to the complaints team. One advisor was even willing to raise a complaint about there poor customer service. Please please stay well away from this institution your given false inaccurate information to put it bluntly lied to.
