Renwal quote was very high. Compare the Market beat it.by £60,with a lower excess.

If You expect professionalism and high quality customer service - stay away. They will treat You rubbish. Still the cheapest option on the market though. 1. They didn't charge me for my first installment explaining it's a system fault and I need to pay manually. I couldn't because they don't give You any account number for payments, it can be done through their representative on the phone. 2. They didn't charge the second installment either and I forgot to call them again. After few weeks my policy was cancelled and they didn't inform me. Obviously they will tell You they sent notifications, but in my case I didn't receive a thing. 3. When I found out my policy is cancelled I tried to buy a new one via phone, they proposed me twice the price.

I had a policy out and I had two payments left. The only emailed I received before they cancelled my policy was a normal email saying thank you for choosing to have ur policy emailed not realising there was an attachment to say I missed a payment then I receive another email a week after they cancelled the policy saying we've cancelled they cancelled it on the 28th I recievd the email on the 4th I rang on 7th as soon as they were open. I phoned them up to make the last payments and pay the arrears and charges and I carnt because they've terminated with no actual information but one email that says thank you,so now I lose a years no claims and have to start a new policy because they would rather terminate after almost a years payments well I won't be using them again.

Very poor assistance from multiple staff memebers. Only a select few try to go above and beyond to help you whereas the othets pass you around like its a game pf pass the parcel. I chased a hire bike for 2 weeks and when it finally turned up, the fuel cap wont open so i am still without. And a month later still none the wiser what is happening with my bike. Long story short, these guys are very wuick to take your money but have no interest in helping you when the time comes.

phoned the 0844 3386888 which was on my renew documents only found out today on my phone bill it the call cost me £19.38 and yet person at the call centre never mentioned about calling this line

If you've taken out a policy on a provisional licence and you pass your full test during the year. Don't bother notifying them. You'll get stung to the tune of £100 + if you do. Not happy at all >:(

very long telephone queue and 30 mins answering questions for a renewal on a duel bike policy only to come back with a price increase of £110 on last year, went on their web site and got a quote £75 cheaper i rang them back to ask why only to be told the person who gave me the original quote will ring back in 5-10 mins. 3 hours later no response i rang and queued again had to go through the whole process again magically they got the same price as i did still £40 dearer than last year , not the best customer service

Having been on the phone for several hours (half of which was on hold) I still don't have the insurance cover I require nor can I access my documents online. Very poor customer service and refusal to return my money when I couldn't get the insurance I needed.

Problems on first approach which stalled due to being unable to give cost of ongoing insurance repair cost. On second approach, was told this was not an issue. This was debated, then told it was, in fact, an issue. My confidence diminishing... Expected certificate and policy documents to arrive by email within 48 hours : still not arrived 6 days later. I had to call at the weekend to confirm I was effectively insured, and waited almost 15 mins for customer service before being cut off! Called back on sales option and was answered in less than a minute. So, not a great experience to date, and still no policy documents!! Regards, Bob Stewart

I was very disappointed with the attitude of the member of staff i spoke to. First he was insisting there was a phone delay and was his excuse for talking over me. When i did raise a point he quickly spoke over me so there wasn't that much delay! that leads me to believe he was trying to stall me and keep me on the line for as long as possible. He asked me loads of questions regarding information you already have, i know things change but when your left on hold for nearly four minutes to then have another string of questions that could have been asked while i was on hold. He said he was waiting for the quote to come through, Really? all in all twenty minutes of my time taken for a renewal is poor. I did another quote afterwards on line in FIVE minutes and that was giving them all the information YOU already have! So Disappointed by his rude and stubborn attitude. Regards Garry Cooper.

MCE did not send me a renewal quote even though I e mailed twice nor did they reply to my e mails, fortunately I got a good quote via Compare themarket.com.MCE really need to up their communications

Very disappointed with Mce. had a multi bike policy for 4 yrs only to be told they won't insure my new H2 because it is supercharged but quite happily insure a certain celebrity bake off chef with the same bike. What's all that about?

Price has massively increased from last year. The guy I spoke to on the phone was rattling through everything so fast I had to ask him to stop or slow down. Seemly over keen to get my money and too quick to run through the policy at lightning speed. Was still getting calls even after I reinsured with them. Probably think twice about going with them next year.

Renewed 7 weeks before renewal at motorcycle live and no documents. Phoned up 4 times to get correct documents. Wrong post code then wrong date had to explain to 4 different people to get it right.
