I purchased two sucking loach fish from Coventry Gallagher pets at home - did the acclimatising correctly as you do ... my tank had been set up with 4 fish in before hand completely fine for a few years ... after adding the fish correctly for an hour or two they were okay darting round the tank swimming eating etc . My brother came round and noticed they were acting a little strange ... swimming up but floating back down like they were lifeless ... we decided to examine the fish to see they actually had white spots over their bodies ... now we would have got them checked but this was after stores were closed. However they didn’t make it 4 hour after purchasing these fish they had died ... cleaned my tank removed them and added all fresh water ornaments and gravel along with my 4 fish I had to start with years ago... all well and good until I woke up this morning popped to the shop and one of my black moors had passed! What the hell had pets at home fish got wrong with them to kill them selfs along with my beautiful fish

Me and my partner adopted to male rats from these! We hate seeing animals housed in pets at homes as they are highly inappropriate for the animals, so the lady came over to sort them out for us and to do a medical check on them, she was frightened of them as she kept saying they bite, so clearly she couldn't be botherd, but she said they where over weight but no medical problems, she also told us the two boys had come in with other rats but where not aloud for adoption, that was a big red flag but we took them home still, journey to our home they where sneezing like crazy, so they where housed in a different room to our other rats in our care just in case, all the rats already in our care had no medical problems and fit and healthy, day after the boys had bin in care all our 9 rats had sneezing and wheezing issues and two where really lethargic, we took 4 to the vets, cost us emergency vet bill prices as it was urgent, day after that our two lethargic rats one passed away aged 7 months and the other was fighting so hard to stay with us, we then decided to take the two adopted boys back as we struggled to look at them (heart breaking for us!) Pets at home yet again didn't check just took them in, so then we decided to challenge pets at home and find out what was going on and why they had allowed 2 seriously ill animals go out for adoption, they quickly went very defensive and tried blaming us, refusing to let us see the boys medical records, they are refusing to reinbursed our nearlly £400 vet bills they cost us and we can clearly tell they are hiding somthing! DO NOT SHOP, ADOPT OR VISIT THIS EVIL COMPANY!

We took our schnorkie to the Groom Room in Dunfermline for a cut and shampoo, but will definitely not return! While her fur was lovely and soft, the cut is terrible. Loads of bits missed on her head, paws and all over really. She looks really scruffy with such an uneven cut. I could have done a better job myself blindfolded.

Absolutely disgusted with abingdon pets at home, came in to have a peaceful shop and end up hearing a tall colleague proper shouting nasty at another colleague. There is a time and place where you do this not when people are trying to shop. Feel sorry for the girl

Visited Chingford store today to get some cat litter as usual. Noticed no security on door and no anti bacterial gel to hand. While inside Noticed a Senior staff member walking around shop floor amongst customers with**No face mask spurting out orders to her staff. Also noticed a middle-aged woman customer wearing no face mask being allowed to walk around shop floor when wearing a face mask is still mandatory nothing has changed. **MUST DO BETTER**This gives a bad impression to customers during a pandemic lockdown expecially with what's happening in Covid Europe and in India at the moment.

I use Pets At Home on a very regular basis, and I am constantly impressed by the shopping experience at the store. The range of goods available is of consistently high quality, and with a wide choice of brands. The icing on the cake, is the level of competence, attitude, and helpfulness of the staff at the store I use (Hexham) They are always very welcoming and friendly, whenever I shop there, and make every visit to the store a pleasure. We also use the groom room at Pets At Home, and they always look after our dog really well and do a first class job on his grooming. Highly recommended!!

Hello! I was at your Durham Arnison Centre store on Friday 11th April and was served by a lady (her name tag was Nicky). What a lovely pleasant person she was. She told my family all about puppy vip and also about the new flea treatment you are offering. I would definitely tell my friends about the service I got . Will definitely be back following the great service and welcome we received from Nicky.

Boo enjoyed I her smart ones treat and didn’t leave any which she usually does. My older dog clears up usually and didn’t have anything to pick up. Liked it was healthy too for her. Would buy as a treat from her usual fish skins

Smart bones chicken sticks - Bonnie definitely loved the taste and if you see our picture it’s blurry. We couldn’t retake as she woofed it down in 1 min. I would buy again at a reasonable price as she enjoyed however it just didn’t last as long as I thought. Bonnie has loads of food allergies and this was actually a good choice for her.

Smartbones - Chicken Sticks I was pleased to be asked to trial smartbones. My ageing Italian Greyhound is highly food-driven, so I had no doubt that a new treat would be well received; I was also pleased to trial a product that was raw-hide free, containing healthy ingredients. As you can see from this photograph, my dog thoroughly enjoyed his smart one for a good 5 minutes, which is a little longer that his usual treats last. Given that his breed are prone to dental issues, it’s an added bonus that smartbones promote dental health.

Don’t buy pets from pets at home I was there for 10 years and know a lot about the over breeding program they have . If you have a problem about the breeder you have to stay quiet about it 95% of them have bad issues. The guinea pigs are to young and to small always coming into store with ring worm. The rats have bad breathing problems and the rabbits arrive in tiny cages stuffed into them

I received my sample of a large smartbones chicken stick #home tester club Kenco was really excited to try his new treat. He loves the occasional bone but he doesn't digest real ones very well. As soon as he got his chicken stick he held it tightly in his paws and started chewing away.In fact when I was taking his picture he was trying to hide it from me thinking I was after his smart bone. It actually took him longer to chew than a dentistix, well a whole 2 minutes more which is great. Overall he loved it and I will definitely get him some as an occasional treat.

Dogs loved the bone. Duke is a fussy eater doesn't tend to like chicken treats but he ate all this . Had this is on a tester #hometesterclub. Having 2 dogs and only 1 bone sent I halved it and they both throughly enjoyed it . Will buy more

I was pleasantly surprised with the smartbone chicken strips because my dog is very fussy with his food and treats especially. I opened the packet and putting smartbone in 1 hand and had 1 of his usual treats in my other hand and asked him which one he wanted. Straight away he tapped the smartbone with his paw so I gave it to him and he really enjoyed it I could tell. I will definitely be buying them again as I love to keep him happy. It lasted well and smelt OK too.

It's always tricky offering new foods to your dog. No such problem with the smart bones chicken sticks. From the off these look a high quality product but it's the dog that tries it. Charlie took one sniff and took it off me straight away and happily spent 5 minutes eating it. I would highly recommend this as a special treat to your dog and though it looks like rawhide, you can feel it isn't and so safe for your dog

Bought a puppy toy and seam split in less than 24 hours. Poor quality considering it is a 10 week old and small breed

The dark haired short girl in great Yarmouth store has no customer service skills what so ever Think pets at home manager should send her either on a course or to the job centre before she gives the store a bad name but the young mixed race girl now she is outstanding at her job sorry don't know her name
