Renewal quote £100 dearer than online quote. That's just dishonest. Refusing to confirm current no claims status to new insurer.Failed to resolve windscreen claim saying not received email.Not calling back when promised.Have apparently paid out £7600 compensation to an Asian cab driver for personal injuries sustained in a 1mph accident and don't seem concerned that I stated my belief that fraud has occured etc, etc

Not sure how this works however I received a great service from these guys, I was unsure for a bit as I insurance my car on my provisional before I passed and the service was great. Fab prices too,

Can not fault them at all. Have not made a claim this far and di not wish to do so. They apear to very professional in all they do.

Disputed a claim and left me out of pocket for damage caused by another driver to my vehicle. Also, communication was very poor and I had to chase them - was told a decision on my claim would be made within 5 working days and, after several phone calls and emails, this took three weeks. Would not recommend.

I had an issue whereby privilege wrote to me about it, I called them and I'm still waiting for a reply but I know I never did what the party that called privilege said I did, but I just did not get an apology letter from them.

Privilege insurance lied to me that they could send my proof of no claims by email. This was on Friday 9th Oct. I waited for my email, on Monday I chased it up only to be told that I had "unintentionally been misinformed" by the call handler. After countless apologies, I was promised my documents were in the post. Privilege were more than impatient when my previous insurers were just as slow when issuing documents, and they refused to get in touch with my previous insurers. Oddly enough, thy offered me that my new insurers could phone them. One rule for them, one different rule for me. God knows what would have happened if I had to make a claim. They also messed up paperwork when renewing my insurance with them, and could not even find their own PNCB... A bunch of clowns, but at least they were cheap.

I was pleased with the initial quotation from Privilege, including insurance of my No Claims Discount, and there were no hidden costs. I received clear answers when I needed to upgrade my recovery policy to cover a trip to the Isle of Man, and also to a request to transfer my insurance to a new car during the year.
