I can understand why there are so many young drivers without insurance my daughter has been with rac 11 mouths and has just had her insurance cancelled for driving 33 mph in a 30 dispite numerous phone calls and promises that they will sort it out they have not bothered and have now charged her a cancellation fee although they say they are sorting it out. Now she can’t get insurance because they have cancelled and she has to tell new company

I have insured the car after a week they have cancelled my Insurance it's been a week and no refund on my account don't recommend them .

We are unhappy with one claim on windscreen change, after it was changed, the techicians was cut the rainsensor cables and the plug is missing and traction control light is on, service light is on. Before to change the windscreen the car was all right. After this happen we called many times to RAC customer servise to complain, but no results the car still has this problems.

Pros:: firstly since my 1st yr of driving I've had ne real issues with my policy Also to mention a few representatives I've spoken to seemed polite.. Negatives: almost half of the representatives I've spoken other times came across rude also not very helpful Some of there extra charges are a little on the steep side. And my renewal price came bk double the amount from last year. Although my driving score was infant good though they would of taken that into consideration not much thought went into that. Also a mechanic came out to roadside he also wasn't very helpful Overall Really think they need to improve on there customer service skills better Not very good at all🤨🤔😠👎👎

Firstly haven had no issues with my policy through out my 1st yr of driving that's the pro side of things... also to mention have had a few representatives that seemed polite. Negatives side: certain representatives near to half of the time. I've spoken to have come across rude also not to good with customer service. Makes me wonder if there in the right job. And 1 mechanic from there team came out at road side and had sort of a bad experience with that 1 person Overall really need to practice there customer service skills 🤨🤔😠👎👎👎

I've had breakdown cover with RAC for quite a few years now, my experience with them has always been very good. One particularly memorable was when my car broke down on my way home from work on 1st January and RAC got me back on the road just in time for tea. Very happy and would certainly recommend the service.

dreadfull experience with rac insurance services ,theyre all brain dead ,so avoid these bums ,they dont appear to read emails and letters ..

Paid for insurance for my niece, but emailed them within the 14 day grace period to cancel. This was due to the fact we had to cancel our trip due to the corona virus. Even though I have emailed them 4 times, and repeatedly tried to phone them (30 minutes + on hold each time and never answered), I have had no reply from them. I understand this is a difficult time for all, but their customer service is extremely poor. I feel that they are just waiting for me to give up then they keep my money. Would not recommend them at all and still not got any money back.

Only out to get as much money as they can, and can never get trough to them by phone always telling to email them and never put money back into your bank ASAP when you cancel,but take it out right away

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY! Most unhelpful company in the world. Me and my partner got stuck in a foreign country due to Covid19 and we traveled before there where any travel restrictions made. They still haven’t even responded till this day we have been home now over a week and had to pay everything out of our own pocket couldn’t get hold of them I think there insurance is a SCAM!

My husband has been stuck on the a12 for 5 and half hours. After he dropped medicine to his dad. The RAC have been absolutely appalling. We were meant to be priority at 9.10 as my daughter was in car. Nope. Duty of care as gone out the window with the company.

Terrible DO NOT USE. After i had my black box fitted the car would not start and was completely immobilized I rang the insurance company they told me to ring the installers who told me to ring the insurers after 2 hours they said I would have to wait 2 days for someone to come back out.

Waited over an hour and never got through listened to the stupid music then at 7pm got cut off I've got breakdown cover with these people I will be cancelling it first thing Monday morning and going with the AA at least they answer the phone when you ring I would of given no stars if I could avoid

Got hit by a tree and had to make a claim. Made the call and was then given a ref number and a phone number of co op insurance who were my insures not RAC. Lots call and messing about on a 0345 number which is a premium number 9p a min. First few mins were of cause press 1 and so on . Got paid out no probs less the £350 excess. Didnt replace the car but because it was my fault the tree hit my car and they paid out it meant i had to pay the full years policy. No goodwill please come back or any thing . 1 call was the entire effort RAC put into my policy so wont be back and i would urge u to look elsewere. Hope the breakdown service i have isnt as bad

20 mins on phone yesterday. no answer!!! today so far 30 mins and the next person who is free will take my call. I will cancel not only insurance but breakdown cover as well . terrible service, don't have anything to do with this appalling company
