someone reversed into my car, totally smashed up and scrapped. 18 months later the claim remains open by shelia’s wheels, my monthly payments doubled due to not being resolved. they rarely answer calls efficiently, ignore emails and complaints procedure, promise call backs that never happen. terrible insurance company

Both vehicles on mine were involved in an accident, same time, same place. Recorded on CCTV shows crash for cash driving off road and into my car park slamming into the parked unattended vehicles. After a number of copies of CCTV footage being sent ESure decided to write one vehicle off. I bought and repaired that car. However, in some bizarre move a member of Sheila's Wheels marked the wrong vehicle as category N. They fail to understand I own two vehicles with different registration plates. One badly damaged, one superficial damage. Is Sheila's Wheels/ESure safe to insure with. I would say NO, AVOID at all costs. If they are unable yo record accurate details they could mess your life up in a serious accident. DO NOT take the risk, please.

Awful experience trying to get a refund that is due for our elderly Mum who can no longer drive. Sheila's Wheels informed us that a refund is due of £176 and would take around 7 days, this was months ago and every time we chase we just get the run around with the same story of it will be paid within next 7 days. Small claims court is the next course of action

Started off as any normal insurance company 3 months into the policy my car got hit into which was a 2.2 honda civic they tried giving me a like for like courtesy fiat 500 took 30+ phone calls to find out where my car was recovered to get personal belongings 100+ phone calls to get a decent courtesy car which was similar size to mine and not to mention when i bought my new car cause the claim was open i was told i could get a re-rated policy which at the start i was paying 2,000 for my honda but when i bought my new car 2.0 diesel it went to 6,000 wasn’t able to cancel the policy but was made to pay the full amount and also for a non fault claim they have taken 3 years ncb and given me a renewal of 10,830 for a 1.5 qashqai😂 do not trust this company, oh and what makes it worse was “as a goodwill gesture we are going to compensate you £50” - manager said this but what about all the months ive paid £580+ every month for insurance cause your workers have lied, his response is what got me “unfortunately we can only give you £50 back for the 6k we scammed out of you”

Do not use this company! Terrible service no help at all when I had an accident Absolute terrible service, had a bad crash and they recovered the vehicle from the motorway whilst personal belongings that were needed were still in the vehicle. I had to always contact them and they were unaware of who or where the vehicle was after 5 days I did not hear anything from them. I had to call them everyday to try and locate the vehicle and nobody knew where the it was. I raised a complaint and escalated to a manger to be told I would get a call back within 5 days however no manager has called me. I then chased this up at which point I was told I would again get a call back from a manager within 5 days but still have not heard anything. I was asked when raising the claim if anything in the vehicle was damaged so I stated those which were damaged be told they can not compensate for this. The accident happened on the 16th April and still to this day have not heard anything from them. There has been no communication since having the crash. I was then told the vehicle is 1 hour drive away which was not possible for me to get to with me having no vehicle. I was then told to state everything in the vehicle (which is a van) I could not specifically state everything in the vehicle, I was told if I could not state what was in there then I was not able to get it back and had to travel 1 hour drive to get everything myself which was not possible for me to do. I have felt nothing but anxiety and stress from this company since having the accident they were no help at all. I will definitely not be using you again and would definitely not recommend them. I can not state how upset, angry and stressed they have made me feel since having the accident.

Honestly guys and girls out there avoid like your life depends on it. I had my car stolen 6 weeks ago and 6 phone calls later over 30 emails and 2 Hours on the phone I've still not received my pay out for my car plus they have the wrong address down when I've changed it more than once on system. I can assure you this I'd rather drive with no insurance than give this s%%t company one pence of My hard earn money!!!!!! 0 stars

Customer for a few years and have never claimed. All has worked well. Till this year. Premium renewal is high but previously customer service was so good I stayed with them. But now the service has gone and chat bots have replaced phone support - even if you try the parent customer service at Esure. The website payment processes fail and the chat support is super slow. Even when you get someone on chat they go off for minutes at a time between exchanges. They can’t do anything and just give links back the not-working site. I checked Visa verify and the issue is with SW. What a sad outcome. 2 days left and I can’t renew.

Ive just bought a policy from SW. They emailed me a link so I could log onto my account. However, the link is stuck in 'Accept Cookies Mode'...so no access. When I tried to access via the chat bot, it instructed me to log on first and sent me the same link... sioI tried the phone - and the same thing happened. There appears to be no facility to get past this first hurdle to report that there is an issue with their on service. I also emailed them, which bounced straight back as 'not accepting emails', which include the NCD email address too. Has anyone else experienced this?

Shocking customer service. Unresponsive to emails, livechat personnel are rude, unprofessional and dismissive, inaccurate details recorded for a claim, has been 3 months since claim and I am still in limbo. I started the complaints process today - they offered me £10 to avoid a formal complaint, upped it to £15, then told me if I proceeded with a formal complaint it would delay the conclusion of my claim and may make renewing more expensive. Unbelievable.

Had a lovely relationship for years. Then it went wrong. A car drove into mine which was parked and unattended. All was well. Then, Sheilas Wheels recorded a Category N against the car. I did what they asked, made good the grill and damaged wing. Put the car through MOT (now has had 3 MOT without failure). Why did they do this. The nasty horrid people. They lied about the origin of the status. They lied again and again. Esure the parent company then started to lie. Strange. If I misquote or wrote a possible mistruth I could be prosecuted. But, being an insurance company they can lie through there teeth and get away with it - there lies are not criminal so I am told. They are just lies. Best I can say is KEEP AWAY, not safe and could be very bad for your health. Would not advise any sort of cover with Sheilas Wheels. Further, it is near impossible to get through to them. Always claim they are too busy. We have heard this before, lies after lies, they employ too few people to save money

I have been with Sheilas' Wheel home insurance for several years and until this week have never needed them. Following a shower leak, I contacted the Home Emergency cover which I pay extra for. I had to pay £25 for the visit, which was prompt. The plumber who visited was courteous and professional but quickly told me that there was nothing that he could do without taking tiles off the wall and it would be better if this went back to Sheila's Wheels. I was advised he would report this back to the Sheilas' Wheels so they could a thermal image check before any work was done. He took photos for the insurance company, said he would update Sheilas' Wheels but that if I didn't hear from them after a couple of days I should phone for an update. I didn't hear from them so, after spending ages finding a number, I got hold of someone. They had no record of anything, told me I needed to sort this myself, if I wanted to claim through them there would be a £500 excess charge and that I would be better off trying to sort it myself and get back to them if I did decide to claim through them. I'm now £25 out of pocket, can't use my shower and am paying for insurance that does nothing. I'll be leaving Sheilas' Wheels. They maybe cheaper but provide no service whatsoever.

Call handler Lynsey was aggressive and the most unprofessional call handler I have EVER come across!!! Don’t use this company and if you get a LYNSEY on the phone please ask for a different advisor. She treats you like a criminal !

It was so difficult to speak to a human being after the online link didn't work. I had to phone several times and use different combinations of responses to press 1 > 2 etc. Even when I got in a queue, it was a 1/2 hour wait. The person from another country who answered was rude when I asked why my premium increased so much. The increase in my premium was 61% up from last year! I have used them for years but won't ever again.

Shocking customer service, 6 weeks now and my car still hasnt been assessed never mind written off or repaired! I'm now in Limbo with no car or any idea when I'll either get mine back or have my claim settled

Automated service asks all the info and then say they are closed. Absolutely disgraceful. Also massive price rise on car policy so may as well cancel and go somewhere else as they don’t seem to care

Awful customer service. You can't cancel via the website, the chatbot doesn't let you communicate and when you do manage to find a phone number to call no one answers. oh and then you have to pay to cancel?

One star and that’s being generous the service I’ve received from them has been terrible I was in a car accident in January and my vehicle was written off I have had to constantly chase them to get things sorted your on hold for over an hour every time you call before you Evan get to speak to any one then when you finally do get through to someone they haven’t got a clue how to sort you query so getting put on hold again for 20/30 minutes at a time. I still haven’t been paid out for my car and every person I’ve spoken to since hasn’t been able to sort it. They’re cheap for a reason the service is shocking.

Recently poor/lack of communication and poor attitude from customer service, used to be good years ago but no more. I will be going else where after over 18 years and no claims.
