Avoid like the plague. Impossible to speak to a person. Claim still outstanding after +1year which is costing me extra on cover on other cars.

Avoid like the plague. Horrific call centre who do not answer calls. Also cut me off twice (once after 40 mins). Impossible to get my money back from them. They are really terrible - no customer service at all!!!

KEEP WAY AWAY KEEP WAY AWAY, any little changes you make you will get charged for, if you add a new car to the policy they will charge you alot more than others but just for convince you stick the new car on you lose a year of no claims bonus, does not say anywhere on the documents when you will start getting charged for any changes ie week month year etc but when you ask them they is there no specifics on time line they have no answer for that, very unclear with the t&cs in my opinion. Stayed with them for years and there is no such thing as loyal customer with them, as long as you do not question them or say anything and keep giving them yiur hard earned money they are happy, Absolutely terrible experience was with them from 2020 taking over 14 no claims discount when finishing the policy in 2023 i only have 16??? The underwriters want details but no one is prepared to tell you why they need sensitive information that they will have access to for over 20day. I told them over and over again I do not have an issue giving them the information but do need to know why they need it, but not a single person was able to tell me, I asked to be put through to them but they cannot put me through to them. They threatened me in the email that if I do not provide them with the said information they will no longer provide insurance.

Customer service: non existent. Car Insurance!!. I had an accident on 17 April 2023. I purchased comprehensive policy. Following my accident I was told to Google my whereabouts as I was on an A class road with only road signs which I read to the claims person, who insisted on a postcode which I did not have as I had no idea where I was except for signage ahead. I am a 60+woman travelling on her own, on a road akin to a motorway, left abandoned , whilst still in shock and uncertain of status of damage had to make own way home and make own arrangement for car to be removed from accident location as told recovery will not be able to get to me without a post code, no courtesy car provided to date, notes on their system non existent including police Report number, or reasons why action was not taken. One week later I have had no correspondence despite contacting Sheila’s wheels almost every day initially for 4 days with no joy and no responsibility. I am all paid up for the year so they have my money. It’s fortunate that 2 months into the year I had this experience as a warning for any other unfortunate occurrence. Don’t touch Sheila’s wheels or E-sure if you don’t want extra headache. Their logo should be Sheila’s wheels of confusion and incompetence(SWOCAI) for short. Communicated via both telephone and email. Still no response. The saga continues to date.!!!

just hope no one gets there car damaged form a sheilers wheels/ esure costumer very rude people my car was parked up and one of there policy older crashed into my car and they are trying to 50/50 blame i wasnt even in the car glad im with some proper insurance company aviva thats gunna sort everything out for me it pays to spend a bit more money glad ive got aviva so be aware if your car gets damaged by someone whos insured by sheilers wheels/esure

Please research before going ANYWHERE near SHEILA N HER NOT SURE... Check TRUSTPILOT AND OTHER review sites... They should be ashamed they have no ethics... they struggle to even address you correctly... I am ANDREA... they address me as ANGELA who is she? They do not have customer service team they have a customer service TEA team

"I took out home insurance with Sheila's Wheels at a good price. However, I needed to change my address and it took me a week to get through! I tried every day and was held in a queue - the longest time was 40 minutes. The only way you can change your address is by calling, so i couldn't even do it on-line. I did try and use their chat function but even that doesn't work properly. You are either held in a virtual queue, or it tells you that the chat function isn't available. I had almost resigned myself to being doubly insured, when I finally got through to someone who wasn't particularly helpful.\r\nI would not use them again for either home or car insurance. \r\n"

I had a simple request to stop auto renewal. Conveniently for SW this can't be done online. Nobody answers 3 different phone numbers and live chat is "unavailable" Hopeless company. Will be writing to Which? magazine.

Processes a claim on 11.10.22. Took all day to process and then had to travel 150 miles to pick up hire care. Processed complaint the same day and still heard nothing back. 6 weeks later. Despite numerous phone calls. Terrible claims handling, customer service and process'. Would rather have paid twice what I did on insurance and saved myself the hours on hold waiting to be spoken rudely to. Terrible.

I have just wasted 2hrs tring to get through to cancel my policy !!! Suprise suprise there is cancellation fee which is equal to the amount left on my policy !!! Might as well just left it !!! What a rip off company this Is !!!

In two years I didn't have any issues but you raised the insurance cost 25 quids per month without any reason, I called to customer service and no answer about the rising cost, so I cancelled the contract rightly

MY PARTNER HAD HER CAR STOLEN 4 DAYS AGO AND HAS TO WAITVOVER A WEEK FOR A COURTESY CAR THAT SHE PAID FOR WHEN SHE TOOK THE INSURANCE OUT, ILL NEVER EVER DEAL WITH THESE OR EVEN GUVE THEM A GOOD SHOUT OUT ... YA ABSOLUTELY SCANDALOUS AS AN INSURANCE FIRM... POOR FIRM POOR ATTITUDE AND POOR IN MAKING SURE YOU STAY IN A VEHICLE WHEN YOU HAVE PAID THE EXTRA ...

Really annoyed (home insurance customer here). I live in the Leicestershire area and had a problem with bedbugs. Luckily for me, I had added pest cover to my policy. When I contacted Sheilas' Wheels directly, I was first incorrectly told I didn't have pest cover on my policy (I do, I have screenshots to prove it from the web portal - it says I am covered). I was next told I would have to contact a separate team, when they finally accepted they were wrong. I was next told that because I hired British Bug Control / Cimexine directly (who are well known and well accredited), they wouldn't pay out. This is extremely enraging, because the web portal (which shows my documentation / cover options) mentioned NOWHERE that I had to go through some side-teams' recommendations. No one made me aware of that in advance, when I asked why no one had made me aware the response was just "I don't know". For insurance, I expect that if I have a problem that I am covered for, which I can prove (via photos of the bed bugs, via the invoice from Cimexine) that the insurance company should pay out. I'm not even asking for the full amount, just a meagre £200 towards the heat treatment (which was over £1,000)! But apparently, even that is too much for these liars and scoundrels, who sold me a package which includes pest cover, only for me to later find out that claiming the money is extremely conditional and they refuse to pay. So thanks a lot, Sheilas' Wheels, for bouncing me around internal teams and then not giving me the help I need despite charging me extra each month for un-claimable cover extras. I would advise anyone to give this company an EXTREMLY WIDE BERTH (***STEER CLEAR***) and I will be cancelling, and telling my story to anyone who will listen so they can also avoid. This is also going up on Google Revies (I actually found the listing, even though it was hard) and Trust Pilot, and anywhere else I can find to post it.
