Called to cancel my policy am being charged an extortionate £55 cancellation fee. Policy only had couple of months to run absolute thieves!! Do not use.

Awful company. Chose to pay my insurance monthly and the company took 2 payments out of my bank account on separate occasions without my permission half way through the month when i had already paid. Then they charged me a £25 late payment fee for the payment they were never supposed to take! Awful customer service every time i've phoned them to try and get a refund for both of these payments they took. Then when i want to leave the company, they try to charge me £80 leaving fee! Such a bad company, I would recommend staying away from them! Luckily i never had any larger problems or claims i had to get their help with, I doubt they would've been any more helpful.

I insured my car with Zenith having had a clean 15 years of driving with no accidents or claims. I had a small bump one night returning from taking my children swimming. I contacted Zenith who took details and advised I would be contacted the following day by a garage and a courtesy car would be provided. 2 weeks later still no contact. I called several times in the next two weeks and was passed from department to department each time with no one seemingly having a clue what they were doing. Eventually they told me my claim had been passed to the underwriters for a decision regarding processing my claim or voiding my policy, their reason for this was the excuse I had changed my job title in the past 18 months. Again I was told I would be called the following day which never happened. They were uninterested in the face I don't use my car for business or that I was not using it for work on the day of the accident. 6 weeks later I received a very cheeky letter telling me my policy was now void because I had been in breach of contract and that they were voiding my insurance back weeks before the accident and that I would receive no refund of the years policy payments made. Their attitude, customer service and total lack of communication was a total disgrace and Zenith Insurance are nothing short of crooks. Anyone reading g this would be well advised to STEER CLEAR of Zenith Insurance unless you want to get fleeced!!!

Absolutely shocking insurance company. Worst ever. Please avoid using Zenith. They sold my car without my content even though it had outstanding finance. They admitted to selling the car without my permission and also that my car had otstanding finance but said it isn't illegal to do so. Am currently taking thisattercliffe to court. Wish me luck

after speaking to zenith about a delay from the DVLA sending my licence back, they agreed a 10 day extension to submit my licence as the share your licence details provided by the DVLA was not adequate even though it shows all your details and more. I sent through an old photo of my licence within this extension period to an email copied and pasted from their website to which they did not receive apparently. rather than phoning or contacting me knowing there were pending issues my policy was canceled along with £36.50 extra tools cover they charged £70 cancellation fee £30 extra fees and £47.90 for time insured. all because of their inadequate customer services and email contact. upon offering me a new policy it has gone from £456.40 up to £540 plus i have to pay the £36.50 for tools cover but nice of them to wave the cancellation fee. absolute jokers not helpful at all and every person i spoke too had different rules for the issues. highly highly recommend you do not insure through zenith!!!!

Not me but my son - arranged insurance via the internet - but noted that he was not insured to drive any other car - phoned back within the hour to stop payment being taken - but told it was to late - he cancelled the policy and was charged an admin fee of £30 Always thought admin was actual paperwork being produced - i will not use Zenith and will not recommend to anyone either

No problems with the company as such, but then I haven't had much to do with them. No claims, just paid my premium and kept on driving. However, having just had my renewal through, with an extra years NCD, and they have increased my premium by nearly £400. Which is odd, at best. Needless to say, no renewal. No explanation either. Probably would recommend them, as I haven't had any issues, but only for a year at a time....

Shocking customer service. Never call back when they say they will. Doing everything they can to avoid dealing with an issue that wasn't there in the first place. Increased my premium for an accident I was allegedly involved in (at the time I was at home watching the football!) and have done nothing to fight my corner. Disgraceful and I recommend that nobody insures with them as they have no empathy for the needs of their customers and the left hand most definitely doesn't know what the right hand is doing!!

Zenith have cancelled my van insurance because I made a claim On my motorcycle insurance which was also insured through zenith, my motorcycle fell off of its side stand when parked on a slight slope, my fault I know, so how does this in any way affect my driving of a van? In 34 years I've made 3 claims . I've made a complaint to the insurance ombudsman and spoke to the broker budget insurance. I'll speak to zenith insurance next week, I thought that's what insurance was for if you have an accident they are there to cover it , they have been more than happy to take my money for 34 years.im seriously not impressed

Rip of insurance they should be called I sent in proof of NCD and got a email saying they had received it a week later I got a letter in the post saying they didn't receive so they cancelled my policy without my knowledge 3 days before I got the letter and charged me £75 and when I phoned up not one of them had a clue what they were doing avoid avoid avoid

This company are a total set of crooks, changed my direct debit because they say I provided them with the incorrect date of a claim but they just duplicated the claim and noe that I have proved this they still refuse to reimburse the additional costs

Worse car insurance probably in History avoid this company like your life depends on it.... go and pay a little extra and you will have peace of mind that everything is done legally, above board and most importantly if you have an accident you will be fully supported... You wouldn't know how much of a difference that makes... Don't believe me carry on reading these reviews of this poor excuse of company...

Absolutely shocking. Budget Insurance Group manage Zenith Claims and push you to Minster Law in York that they own. They are cheap and if you pay peanuts you get monkeys or in this case Meerkats. It's worse if there is a crash and both parties are insured by Zenith. Double the pain. 9 months and still not resolved. Be wary when they offer you a free hire car. You actually sign up at £50 per day. They must be paying their staff to put 5 star reviews on here.

Not interested in sorting out my NON FAULT claim, they don't read emails, pass you onto a vehicle management firm. I will not be renewing with these complete chancers! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

they are not a insurance company only a fleecing company, all your detail are sold all claims non compliant use a no win no fee company rather than this sham of a company

Please do not insure with this company they are not interested in resolving any accident claims quickly or within a reasonable time frame. Still waiting 8 months after a crash, proven not to be my fault. Rude and uniformed staff with an attitude..very poor company.

Recently had my motorcycle stolen from my drive. Zenith are now implementing a clause that I was not aware of, was not informed of, and isn't on the insurance documents where if the bike was not in the garage and is within 500 metres of the house I can't claim. I really advise to avoid this company they are basically scam artists.

I am absolutely disgusted with Zenith. My daughter was put on my insurance to drive my motorbike. She had parked in front of her house before going off to work. It was chained with a lock. Shortly after parking it was stolen by some youths, taken into a back lane near by & completely wrecked. It was reported to the police. This was in 2014 & to this day they have never paid out the £500 less excess, so I could not buy another bike. All they offered me was £10 for the period remaining & to cancel my insurance. I would never recommend Zenith to anyone.

Was involved in an accident that was not my fault . Zenith are a nightmare to deal with haven't had a single update from them. The car has been written off and they are not offering what it's worth si I can't get another. Total loss company are rude and difficult to deal with, very unresponsive and bullish.
