Ordered from them Roborock S5 Max on a Black Friday Sale. Paid around 400 EUR for the device only to find out about a MONTH later that I still need to pay custom fees (around 65 EUR!!!) because the item was shipped to Europe from China... This extra cost was not explicitly mentioned when the purchase was made.

If I could give zero stars I would. If I could give zero stars I would. I purchased a smartwatch from them, which came with a defective bezel. The plastic was badly cut. After 8 emails, including 2 videos, they still said it was working as intended. So, no return. No refund. I'm stuck with a defective watch. Thank you for nothing, Gearbest. I'm not coming back.

Again taken aroud. I get an offer for a € 100 discount on a 550 product. I care because I was buying A LOWER QUALITY one for a close price. I cancel the purchase and proceed with the purchase on Gearbest, too bad that the discount codes have all been sold out since time. However, in the offer it says that it expired TODAY and not that it was a LIMITED NUMBER. Order 19110900963503345582 not delivered, they say that it was given to DHL on November 11th and that I will receive it within a maximum of 2 weeks. Now they say it wasn't available and that I have to stick to it, as usual they sell material they don't have. But what kind of people is this ???

Phone is still in free repair warranty, but supposedly cannot be fixed. I bought a Xiaomi mi 8 from gearbest just over 11 months ago, the phone is having a catastrophic failure and cannot be used at all (it is a paper weight at the moment). The phone has a free warranty repair for 1 year but after sending through information and photos of the problem i had with the phone I was told the phone cannot be fixed and I can keep the phone and they will send through a partial refund of $100 USD when I bought the phone new for $465 USD. I told them that if this phone was repaired for free I could sell it for at least $300 USD second hand, so by them not repairing it i'm losing a lot of money for a phone I've used less than 10 months before the failure. They do not want to repair the phone and saying they cant do anything about it. They have recently offered $150 USD but like i said to them this is still far from the price I could sell it second hand if they had it repaired as it is still under warranty.

Horrible company with horrible customer service. Bought a smart watch, never received it. Asked for refund. They said they can only do a partial refund because I declined shipping insurance??? what a bs. I would not recommend doing business with these scums.

This company is a waste of time, I requested them to cancel my item 4 days before it was shipped and they still shipped it. Now upon receipt of the item which I was unable to refuse because it was posted without the need for a signature (to prevent my cost of return), I am now liable for the costs to send the item back to Hong Kong, of all places, and the cost to ship costs more than the product itself. Furthermore, I had to cancel the item because the 1st item they sent to me was faulty, so the accessories I purchased were not usable. In the past for items I wanted to return they do refund you, however, it's a slow process. Basically don't buy from china if you live in Europe, because you will get your pants pulled down. I've added my ticket number because I do believe I have been unfairly treated on this occasion.

Selling items that they do not have in stock. Delivery promised in 2 weeks... never happened. They say that itwill be another 3 weeks before stock MIGHT arrive. No-one gives a straight answer. As I was annoyed they offered to exchange for other items. When I asked about various items it turns out none of them were in stock, although their site said they were. They then offered to refund to my *Gearbest Wallet* so that they could keep my money! Fraudsters! They will refer you to their T&Cs, but ultimately they are accepting money for goods that they do not have and cannot supply. That is fraud in my opinion. The dispute is ongoing!

Purchased an electric-bike, arrived damaged. Tried to discuss with "gearbest." Kept getting routed to the suppliers, but suppliers use gearbest website, so surely gearbest should control the customer journey. I even received shipping info via gearbest website not the suppliers. Also you cannot find any contact details for gearbest suppliers. Gearbest will not take ownership or responsibility, even though they use these suppliers and promote via gearbest website. I am know left with damaged bike that nobody wants to help with. Absolutely disgusting and vicious circus that leaves honest customers with no customer support and no conclusions. Never will I use there services again, gearbest is the equivalent to a modern day highway robber, take your money and leave, they only answer queries with more questions and no action. There cheap for a reason, use at your discretion, hope my advice keeps you from harm. Thank goodness we have social media as a platform to unmask these unscrupulous victim makers. Take your business elsewhere as I do use other suppliers and never have I dealt with such ignorance.

Promised a partial refund ? because the Xiaomi Amazfit Stratos developed a screen fault at 7 months, a refund that takes only 48hrs. Despite several emails six weeks on still no refund. Gearbest warranty is worthless . The watch has now refused to recharge so don't expect anymore than 7 to 8 months from a Xiaomi Amazfit Stratos . I suspect the Amaz part of the name is for if it lasts any longer !

Since my first order with Gearbest went off without a hitch. I decided to buy something more expensive this time. A Xiaomi Mi 9 SE, worth about 300 USD. With the buyer protection and the additional transport insurance I thought I would be on the safe side. According to DHL shipment tracking [1] (package no. 0034043434268750749369) the article should have been delivered to me personally on 18.06.2019 at 16:40. I still any other person from my household has received the package. Also with demand with the neighbours the package did not appear. On 20.06. I have given up thereupon with Gearbest a support inquiry. I was put off, I should wait nevertheless still a few days. DHL could not help me because I am only the recipient and therefore not the contract partner. On 25.06. I opened a case with the PayPal buyer protection in the hope to get a refund fast and uncomplicated. But since Gearbest could prove with the help of the parcel number that a parcel was supposedly delivered, PayPal proved the seller right and rejected my request for a refund. After that, I asked Gearbest to submit a request to DHL for a refund if the package was actually stolen or lost. However, Gearbest will argue that the package has been delivered as this will be shown in the Tracking section. I then submitted a request for investigation to DHL, which was rejected by letter a few days later - again with the statement that only the shipper can do this. After calling DHL, however, I was informed that a Mr Eric Yeung (operator of a fulfillment center, commissioned by Gearbest) had filed an investigation request. On 11.07. I was told to wait until 02.08. and then I will get a solution according to the terms and conditions of Gearbest. I have assumed that the result of the investigation will be awaited. On the question how the solution will look like (refund or new delivery), I received no exact statement. On 04.08. I wrote to Gearbest again, this time the tracking was pointed out again and the blame was placed on the parcel service: "As we explained earlier on the shipping company's website the parcel has been delivered. In this case, the package was shipped to the correct address as provided by you during the checkout and we shipped it to you in good faith. Unfortunately these kinds of losses are beyond our control. [...] We regret to inform you that there is no compensation in such case. The shipping agent is responsible for this loss." Now I stand there, $300 poorer and without a smartphone. The Gearbest customer service is really the very last and I can't recommend anyone to buy there. Beware of this online shop, the savings are in my opinion not worth the trouble in case of a problem.

terrible customer service- ordered a new mobile on the 31st May- still hasn't arrived 6 weeks later and they are refusing to provide a refund until at least 31st July. Do not use- the savings are not worth it- I have spent more money having inept email exchanges with them than I would have done buying somewhere else.

I bought a product on this site. Everything was OK, including the delivery of the product, but shortly after receiving the product, I received an email that announced that I had an unpaid product. I logged in and found that it had been hacked. My personal data has been changed: name, address, country. An order had been made to be sent to a whole other country than the one I live in. I think I was lucky I did not pass my bank or credit card details to the gearbest.com account. Also, in "Address Book" my personal data has been changed. I have announced the incident to the site's security team, but I haven't received any response from them. Instead, I received a lot of emails that asked me about my experience on the site. Even though I explained in every answer given to the emails I received, that my account was hacked, every time I received another e-mail addressing to my opinion on the experience on the site. I tried to delete my account from this site. There is no such option! So, pay attention! The site does not protect your personal data !!!

I ordered a xiaomi scooter from Gearbest.com. It was shipped on 31.05.19 and shipping time as the shop says was 3-5 business days. Today is 10.06.19 I have asked the shop where is the item and the say it will come :D... I opened a ticket at gearbest.com to see where is the item as the tracking code that I have does not show real information. On the ticket, they gave me a website where to track it and it still says there is no tracking information for this number. I bought this xiaomi scooter from this shop for a higher price because the shipping time was 3-5 business days I also asked the shop before I buy it to see if that time is real and they assured me that I will have it even in the same week... So far I just paid more money for something that I don't know where it is 10 days. Traveling from Poland to Bulgaria as the shop says they are shipping with UPS. If I knew this would take so much time I would never buy for a higher price from a scammy website Everybody should first read on reddit and everywhere about gearbest.com before shopping there!!!

Gearworst They are best in lying for scamming people who buy their product not in stock and wait for 6 month without sending it. During this time they continue to propose the product for sale and an stock inquiry response always said it is in stock and could buy it right now !!

Please DO NOT buy from these scammers. I bought a phone from Gearbest recently It was advertised as free postage. I realised that when I proceeded to checkout the postage option changed from what was called priority line to DHL, at this point there was no other option but DHL. I thought nothing of it as it had already been advertised as free postage and there was no other option to chose from anyway. I got a txt message a week later from DHL seeking an extortionate amount to deliver the phone for what they claim to be import duty. As I say there was no mention whatsoever about this when ordering, only boasting free postage. I then checked the invoice to discover that gearbest charged £8 postage despite having advertised free postage. I am now in a situation where it seems I will have to lose the total amount already paid for the phone (and trick postage charge) or pay the additional extortion fee demanded by DHL to receive the phone. I have contacted Gearbest and they are refusing to refund or take any action claiming that this is between myself and DHL. Please avoid these careless scammers at all cost. You might think you are saving a few pounds, all you are doing is setting yourself up for a long wait, unexpected trick charges and extortionate 'duty' charges that are completely out of your control. Any ethical company would be ashamed of running such a scam
