“Don't waste your time with this company, I spent almost 30mins listening to the recording and making numerous selections only to be disconnected from their end. They publish a phone number that is supposed to be answered from 5am EST. On the second try, I woke up at 5:30am to make the call and once again was stuck in an endless que with neverending voice overs. This company is too big to care about their customers. They had us when we spent our money and thats all they care about. To this day they have never called back OR emailed me.”

“I ordered a part based on their very specific description, which stated it would definitely fit my specific model and meet my specific need. The part I received did not match any part on the unit. I contacted them for assistance and they stated I would have to send photos of the generator and demonstrate that it did not match. I did so, then the runaround began. I finally indicated I was requesting a refund and requested a prepaid return shipping label. They refused to pay for return shipping, stating it was "my fault" for ordering the "wrong" part, and citing a deceptive return policy. They refused to admit that they had sold a part that was essentially useless. I am out nearly $60.00 and have only a useless part to show for it. This is no way to treat customers, and I believe this is a deceptive practice which makes it nowhere near cost effective to return items that do not match or fit, especially for those ordering from abroad (in my case, United States). It is merely a way to scam international customers out of their money. AVOID ORDERING FROM THIS SELLER. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.”

“I am in the United States,& ordered Generator gaskets the last of June..After several weeks of not getting them I looked at the shipping site on 8-8-23 to see where they were at,said Chicago July 7th was the last place it was being sorted it said..Now I had purchased insurance for it to get to my house..So I got a hold of the Company that switched me to some reporting place & i explained that I had not got them..They said too bad your 30 days are up to file a claim..I said I have insurance though,again too bad so sad we keep your money..So do not trust this company! I will spread the word around on it everywhere I can..”

“They substituted a different size capacitor than what I ordered and then they said it's close enough. It's tolerances are outside of my spec range for what I ordered. They said I can return it at my expense, this is unacceptable as they did not send what I ordered and the cost to send it back from USA is prohibitive.”

“Wrong parts for service kit sent Wring gaskets sent - apparently I ordered wrong ones ? My review on another site they are trying to take down Cheap Chinese parts - I had to source the correct parts locally Cheaper & better quality. RMA link does not work for me to return goods. Because Generator Guru started to claim falsehoods I have had no other option than to hand the parts to trading standards. Furthermore I have given Generstor Guru the option to contact me directly to sort My legal team are standing by. I have proof and order numbers etc.”

“I ordered a capacitor for the generator on my boat from Generator Guru. Pricing was reasonable and I received the capacitor within a week. However, the capacitor I received was a slightly lower mircofarad rating than what I ordered. When I contacted them, they said they just send a comparable capacitor. If you look closely in very fine print, they state this on their website. They have offered to refund my money less the shipping. I would also have the pay the return shipping to the UK. I will not do business again with this company and will be filing a claim with my credit card.”
