“On line company with a good web site, with plenty of options to choose from. Easy to follow ordering system of models, styles and colouring options with a short wait for delivery.”

“We purchased a bed, but unfortunately it could not be delivered. Whilst customer support were very helpful, the inability to specify a delivery window made (and still makes) it challenging for us to actually get the thing we've paid for. It looks like we won't get the bed for another two weeks and even then, it's not certain they will be able to deliver it again.”

Good Afternoon, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review in regards to your delivery experience. All feedback is greatly received. We are sorry that on the day of your delivery the road restrictions worked against us. Sadly we are unable to manipulate the delivery times, offer set arrival times to choose or know in advance what time precisely the arrival will be due to many outside factors on the day. ( traffic, cancellations etc). We can only offer an estimated arrival time. A new delivery date was arranged for 4 days later unfortunately you were not available for that date and we have made arrangements for the very next suitable available delivery date in your area. Please do contact customer services directly on 02036952463 or hello@getlaidbeds.co.uk before 4pm on the 23rd of June to acquire the vehicle registration in advance. This will be the soonest we would know the confirmed van that will be delivering your items. Please be aware we can not know if there will be any vehicle changes that may happen on the day. We are truly sorry that you have had this experience with the delivery service we offer. “I bought Oxford single plus guest under bed. Pro - great customer service Con - customer service should have let me know or would take a tiring 3 hours to assemble this. - poorly explained instructions - ux eyes would be good on this”

“Overall I'm quite pleased with the product (London Bed), however there's room for improvement: I'd add some screws to pull together the structure in the joints regions. It's not the easiest thing to get a flawless assembly on a bedroom carpet.”

“A most gorgeous bed! I am really impressed with the standard and quality of this company and their product. I love the ethos of the company and would highly recommend it to anyone. There is one thing I would improve, as the full delivery and assembly wasn't an option for my postcode, is a far easier set of instructions. It took a few goes and quite a few hours to fathom which pieces and screws went where. With the gas-hinged arms seeming not to move- a note for anyone -not to panic and put the mattress on the top right at the end-the weight presses the piston arms down! However, once it was all put together, what a brilliant ottoman storage bed indeed, easy to open with more room underneath than I thought. Would definitely shop with Get Laid Beds again! Thanks Cat”

“Reasonably fast delivery. The guys who delivered the boxes were nice and polite. My only issue was with assembly instructions. There was a lot of guessing + trial and error, before both us managed to put everything together. Pieces were not marked with letters/numbers. We struggled a lot and we’re quite diy people. Wouldn’t recommend to someone with no skills.”

“We ordered a 4 poster bed and mattress and were so excited for it. On delivery day we got rid of our old bed and mattress to clear the room ready. The bed arrived at around 9am but with no mattress. I immediately called the courier who explained there was no mattress at the depot for them to collect. I then called Get Laid Beds and was assured they would get onto the issue immediately and return my call soon, as they needed to contact the courier. I explained we would have to sleep on the floor as we had tipped our old mattress. I didn't receive a return call so around 7hrs later I called back and was met with someone who sounded very apologetic and seemed to take accountability over the matter saying they would chase the issue personally and return my call first thing the next morning with an update. I again explained we would have to sleep on the floor. The next morning, again, no call back. In the afternoon I called them and was told the process to search for the mattress can take up to 48hrs. I again explained we were having to sleep on the floor. The next day I called again for an update and was told the matter would be chased. Around 30 minutes later I recieve a return call saying the mattress had gone missing and it would take up to 3 weeks to get a new one to me. I then had to request a refund and buy from elsewhere as we couldn't wait that long. The bed itself is of good quality but due to the extremely poor customer service mainly due to lack of accountability and care I couldn't bring myself to rate any higher.”

Good Morning, Please accept our apology for the issues you had with your delivery. It is not the experience we expect for our customers. The mattress was collected by the delivering couriers, however from the point of collection to the items arriving at their depot this mattress was unable to be located by their teams. I am very sorry that the Customer Service team here were not able to keep you updated as often as they should have. There are procedures in place to ensure all customers are kept up to date as often as possible in these circumstances even if there is no update to give. I am sorry that these steps were not followed through with. The individuals involved have already been managed accordingly. Sadly the mattress was not recovered from the couriers and we were not able to make and dispatch a new one soon enough. We have refunded you the cost of the missing mattress for you to be able to purchase one elsewhere. “The instructions were not clear at all, especially when saying which parts were already assembled and which was not. The wooden pieces were not labelled great nor were any directions given so you knew to lay things the right way, the wood is solid as expected however soft with "pre drilled holes" not correctly aligned meaning you needed to make your own. I wish there was more information online regarding this particular bed, for example that there was no base to it so clothes cannot be directly payed under the bed as it it, and also that if you choose to go for no headboard, you will not get the holes/screws to add any headboards you may already have. The screws were not clearly labelled so trying to figure out 30mm from 35 mm and 50mm from 60mm and so on was a pain to say the least! If I ordered from here again it seems you would have to pay for them to assemble it yourself unless you have another bed to sleep on in the meantime but then didn't feel like the difference in cost would be worth it! I did get a delivery slot with live tracked timer on the day of delivery so didn't receive the call from them, I also didn't get them to bring it into the house so no shoe coverings were needed either but overall the company have been alright, just the way things were not made clear was annoying!”

“Excellent, from beginning to the end. The service from the initial enquiry was followed through, the bespoke design came to life when it was installed by a great crew of white glove assembly people. Susan and Chris were friendly and professional. I'd like to Thank Lindsey and all the staff esp those in the factory who custom-made my bed to perfection. Lovely Greywash colour too. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending you”

“While the bed looks great and is very comfortable building it was not easy. Several of the joints needed cleaning with a chisel to get them to fit properly and there were not enough screws of one size and too many of the other meaning I had to search my own supplies to complete construction. While not a huge issues it did mean that the job took far longer than it should.”

“This is my second purchase in four years from that of the single 'London' bed to a change to the small double 'Kings' bed. Both experiences were exceptional in every sense. “Superb delivery from Franqui & Pete, who went above and beyond by helping us take apart the old bed which we were still struggling with when they turned up. Put the new bed together quickly, and did a great job too. The bed is really sturdy and comfy too!”

“Disappointed with the quality of the bed. Centre rail doesn't fit in unless by force but cracked the wood. The screws for the headboard are designed badly which would be very difficult to screw in!”
