“I purchased a Left Handed Steinberger Spirit from GigGear (the last one in the UK :) ). I also managed to find a £20 off promotional code, which made the deal a 'no brainer. The guitar arrived the next day, was well packaged, complete and in excellent condition. The Steinberger is an incredible instrument, that has quickly become one of my most played instruments. Very pleased with the service from GigGear, cheers.”

“The knowledge and helpfullness of the staff at GigGear has always been of a very high standard. If you're not sure about something, they don't assume you are an instrument/music expert and make you feel stupid for not knowing something. Also, the range of instruments/peripherals they have in stock is fantastic. I wouldn't want to go anywhere else.”

“As usual all members of staff were very helpful and friendly, I bought 2 T C Electronics pedals at a reduced price. However, they will always try to match a Competitors price if they can. I cannot recommend them highly enough and it is good that there is such an excellent and well stocked Music store within easy reach that supplies such a friendly and a nothing is too much trouble service. I will continue to support this local shop, as nowdays such good service is hard to find.”

“We visited the store recently where they have a great choice of instruments.. The staff (particularly Alex) were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. There was no pressure to purchase and they were happy to let us try as many guitars, basses and amps as we wanted. It made choosing relaxed and enjoyable and felt we got a great deal with our purchases. If you get a chance to visit the store, I am sure it would be worth it but if you are only able to buy online, if their customer service is half as good as in person then you'll have a great online shopping experience. I felt that they wanted us to be completely happy with what we had bought and will definitely be buying from them in the future.”

“You are asking me for a review before the order has been delivered. You gave me an order confirmation that my order had been placed. I was given no indication of when, or how, the order would be delivered, until this morning, when you suddenly tell me at 08:54 my order will be delivered between 16:00 and 17:00 hrs. By 08:54 I am at work , so you give no useable warning in order for me to have someone available to receive the order. Your competitors do MUCH better when it comes to delivery.”

“I sent Musicman Luke to Gig Gear to have a Roland GK3 kit professionaly installed by Barrie Palmer, Barrie then called me when he received the guitar to tell me where he was going to place the components and what was involved. In less than a week the guitar was sent back to me and the installation was flawless it is better than a factory installation I am so happy with it. The service from Gig Gear was first class from start to finish and i will be using them in the future. Darren Dean.”

“I recently bought a Line 6 Spider IV 15. It is an exceptional piece of equipment with a brilliant sound at all levels of drive. I've also purchased an FBV2 channel selector. However, due to some complications with the courier service, I'm still waiting for that to be delivered.”

“Placed an order for my friends birthday present. It came really quickly and promptly. Emailed giggear to see when delivery would be. They replied straight away and I received delivery exactly as they said. Goods arrived very securely packed and my friend will be thrilled. Definitely use again.”

“I was interested in buying a Fender Strat so I visited the store in Harlow to have a look. The guy in the guitar section was very helpful and knowledgeable and allowed me to try out a couple to compare (Mex vs USA etc). This gave me enough info to go home and consider my options. I made my decision and ordered one online. Check out GigGear's voucher codes - I got lucky as they had £25 off! The guitar wasn't in stock so I received an email telling me it had been ordered and would be in mid next week. Progress updates were a bit sparse after so I've knocked a star off, however when I emailed enquiring I got an immediate reply (even though it was late evening). Anyway the guitar was delivered by UK Mail (who sent a text giving an hour slot) and it was in perfect condition - and even in tune and set up ready to play straight out of the box. Bottom line - I'm very pleased with my purchase :)”
