“The instructors knowledge and experience were very valuable in providing context to the course material and providing an understanding which enabled passing of the examination.”
“Company (and reps) were very helpful and considerate to my needs.
Due to red tape my end, deadlines were very tight, but this was not a problem - very happy with the service and would definitely use again.”
“I attended the Guerrilla.NET course between June 20th - 24th, 2016 in London. I had a very disappointing experience given the stellar reviews of the course attendees had provided (people who had attended about a year earlier).
Lab infrastructure was very poorly organised. We spent the first three days of the five day course without doing any lab-work:
- Laptop logins wouldn't work
- Windows copy on the laptops were not genuine which is very surprising.
- Virtual machines for the lab weren't setup correctly. The attendees did most of the troubleshooting themselves and got them working eventually on the third day.
- There were no plans for how to get the lab materials onto the virtual machines.
The course material itself was disappointingly basic. The outline made it out to be a "deep dive" into certain areas but was barely even an introduction. A lot of the course seemed to have been a plug from the "Getting Started" sections of the individual technologies.”
“- missing a pdf of the theory that can be referenced when doing the labs, instead of text underneath the videos.
- labs are fine but noticed at the end of 3rd module that am missing exchange with fellow participants (I did a course in November where some people took part remotely but were included in that the instructor made them part of the group); being in a group is important to exchange knowledge that others and the instructor have gathered in the field.
-find it harder to integrate 2+ hours into or adding this to a work day as the modules are very long.
- good layout, can easily be managed; would prefer to give the option do the lab or the test first and then the video - have them arranged so that labs could be done in one go if preferred.
- on the whole a good experience, but learning better in the classroom where you have e.g. pair work in labs to keep participants alert”
“The course has been excellent. It has helped me so much with my knowledge about cisco and helped to clear my fears about it.
Thanks once again for a very good course.”
“We should receive more explanation about the Technologies and receive more feedback about ours mistakes.
The course is not a course or a workshop.. its justa a LAB and read by your self the PDFs method.”
“Trainer had brilliant knowledge of subject matter and showed a wide range of experience.
Equipment was good however virtual machines were not stable and we sometimes slow.”
“Course facilitator was very experienced and led the group really well through the course material. I am sure my pass was due to the way the course was delivered by the facilitator.
The centre had excellent facilities and that was a nice bonus.”
“It was a very good session. The trainer was very knowledgeable. Would like to have similar sessions on the other intermediate lifecycles like Continuous Improvement,”
“Amazing course, I enjoyed it a lot.
Very good knowledge from the presenter and his way to explain each topic is very understandable.
There is a lot of material in only 1 week but the presenter made it clear and simple.
Thank you very much and keep doing these things”
“the course attended was using the virtual class room facility supplied by Global Knowledge. Attending the course required some checks to be carried out to ensure that there were no connectivity or compatibility issues. The session got going with no major problems, the interface is clear and there is a short help screen to assist with any simple questions. The presentation has pride of place in the centre of the screen and the white board facility is an excellent addition. The Instructor could clearly be heard, although there were issues when delegates were speaking, with voiced drifting in and out and only half sentences heard.
If I was to highlight an issue - being online with a class room can be quite isolating, it would be good if the instructor attempted to engage with the online audience to ensure their views and experience was shared. Without the visual queues gained by actually being in the class, it is difficult to gauge an appropriate time to jump.
Overall, though the class was well presented by a knowledgeable who provided the appropriate tools to ensure a very good exam pass”
“There was a small glitch with the sound quality in the start but it was handled quick and fast. I never attended a LVC before but the technical part was good it was a positiv experience.
I would like to highlitght the trainer! He was excellent! The rate of the "stories" samples what he told from real life was very good.
The rate of the training questions and analysis was also good.
The material was fine
Thx a lot”
“I'm satisfied with the training in GlobalKnowledge the only thing to mention is that lab virtual servers were very slow, I would recommend to upgrade hardware which runs labs for the students. Thank you.”
