They changed my delivery day 3 days before due to arrive and this was very inconvenient saying they have too many boxes to deliver that day and totally unable to change even to the day after - I've cancelled my subscription

Fresh product often quite poor in quality, with dead herb leaves and dehydrated limes etc. The meals generally have great flavour but the biggest downfall is the amount of plastic! Each individual portion comes in its own plastic wrap to which I agonise over every time I drop it in the bin. They could offer a reduced price box for those willing to eqip themselves with the typical ingredients, such as soy sauce, garlic and onions etc. This would greatly reduce the amount of waste. Alternatively they could seriously look in to bio degradable packaging to win over the eco conscious customers that they are otherwise missing out on.

I'm a loyal costumer and love the variety and taste of the recipes. Points for improvement (please consider): *Give us the option to swap refined carbs for wholemeal (e.g. swap white rice for brown); *Improve the freshness of ingredients. Eg. you often send me rock-hard avocados/lemons and wilted leaves/spring onions. Thanks Gousto!

I can confirm that customisation is a big thing for us and this is being worked on to allow customers such as yourself to change out various ingredients to suit your preferences. Hopefully, we will have this available soon so please do keep a lookout. Missing ingredients and/or recipe cards every week. Deliveries turn up late in to the evening (so you won't have any food for that day's dinner). Ingredients often going off far too quickly.

Been with Gusto for a long time now and have had several issues along the way, usually these get sorted by a small refund but this doesn’t change the fact you still have to go to the shop to buy the missing ingredient or don’t bother with it at all rendering the recipe useless. Last week we received no box at all with no explanation and despite 2 emails to customer services we have had no reply although we did receive a refund of the box, this doesn’t change the fact you then have to make alternative arrangements for the whole week. As a company if you can’t cope with the customer base you already have you should not consider taking on new clients as you will start to lose once loyal clients through extremely poor service. We are now registered with another provider.

I’m loving the addition of more vegan recipe selections and your collaborations with faux meat food producers. Please place fresh herbs on the top of the box contents as they are all too often found crushed in amongst or beneath the heavier recipe items. Overall, Gousto is my go to for a recipe box option in a market place that continues to grow.

Very impresssed with Gousto would have given it a 10 but every now and then my order doesnt come with all 3 menu cards.

The only improvement is that I really want to have the option to change meat in the recipes for a meat free version. There is more meat free versions lately which is great, but I would love to be able to still get the shepherds pie/lasagne/roast chicken etc with the choice to change to meat substitute. Vegetarians don’t always want total substitutes, we really want the meat substitutes too so that we can still get the sausage and mash and other favourites!

Lots of options each week. Very easy to use app. I can get a gluten free box sent to my elderly mum too. All recipes I've tried have been delicious without fail. In about 10 deliveries I've just had half the peas missing once which gousto compensated me for easily on their app. So much inspiration to cook for fussy teenagers too. 5 stars no question.

I have tried to contact a manager re a serious complaint and general lack of service to no avail . The service we have received was 1st class up to 8 weeks ago since then missing items ,wrong meals have been the order of the day nearly every week ,however yesterday topped it all when our 4 meals turned up with no ice what so ever had to throw whole box away customer care no use what so ever I wanted to speak to a manager and was promised. One would ring in 24hrs rang again today to be told it could be 24 -48 hrs but to be on the safe side Gousto would ad another 24hrs What is going on this is ridiculous

I’ve been let down twice in four weeks by Gousto, appalling customer service, won’t be using them again, been a customer for a long time as well, and meals fairly nice but there are better companies out there

We paid £6 more for one of our meals this week, and that was Rump Steak! Unfortunately Gousto failed to deliver any Rump Steak with our Box, rendering the meal useless. We paid £17.97 for this one meal and when we contacted Gousto they initially offered a £7 Credit which we didn’t accept, ultimately they increased the Credit to £11.97, which was £6 less than we had paid for the meal that they didn’t deliver! We gave up in the end, their procedures meant that they couldn’t offer any more and we needed to get to the Supermarket to buy ourselves some dinner before they closed. It’s a shame because when they do deliver, the meals can often be really nice but their customer service leaves an awful lot to be desired.. still baffled how our credit should be £6 less than we paid for a product that they didn’t deliver.

Really poor care for the customers. Sadly the majority of my boxes had an ingredient or ingredients missing. They seemed to expect it and would graciously give you a couple of quid credit which was supposed to make up for the recipe now being impossible to make. I also had two occasions where my box failed to turn up at all which was pretty frustrating after a long day of work having no food and then having to go back out to do the shopping. This was all down to Yodel and their horrendous service. I asked Gousto several times to use DPD instead but they refused because of cost. It’s a shame really that they care about the profit more than their customers and actually in the long run it would be cheaper and better for business. I’ve gone back to HelloFresh anyway who use DPD and care about customers.

I was enjoying Gousto, however an error with my delivery day forced me to cancel. Absolutely AWFUL customer service via live chat - never had anything like it. Basically accusing me, the customer, of changing my delivery day, when I know full well that I did not. No attempt to retain me as a customer, just incredibly rude and unhelpful. What a shame!

Food good. Unfortunately only get a full day window for delivery time which has meant couldnt plan to be in for it and the box just got dumped on the doorstep and twice has had soft foods in it squashed as it was dumped on its side. Slightly mislead by sign up offer. I thought the offer was for 50% off first box and then 30% off next 3 but that is only if you get a weekly subscription so actually it was 30 % off following orders for the rest of the first month. I am a single mum of a toddler and getting a weekly box is too much. Next issue, having got my requests in before the deadline for the coming week I then receive an email saying my selections have been made for me and the choices I had made were for an additional order to come the following week. I admit there is a possibility that I was not paying attention completely but would have assumed that if my choices were out that what I chose would be for the subscription I was paying for and that if I was making an additional order something would flag up to say - are you sure you want an additional order which will cost you another £35? Felt like a system designed to fool me into accidentally ordering more than I had planned. Customer service insistent that it was my error and the best he could do was give me a 30% discount but I'm still left paying for food that wasn't what I would have chosen. Has left a bad taste in my mouth so am cancelling subscription. Shame as I was enjoying the food!

First ever order with Gousto was set for today. It didn’t appear. At 5pm received an email saying it would now be tomorrow instead. Had day off work and stayed in the house excitedly awaiting delivery. Customer service was basically just sorry for the delay and wouldn’t give a refund for my order. Very poor service. Friends had all expected our review of the food and it’ll not be a good one now. Here starts the fight for my money back as is usual with these companys.
