Your ordering process seems to be broken spending time entering address credit card information information and it keeps saying there's something wrong me a nice red message

On 10/14 I purchased 2 tickets from Groupon for the spartan race in Central Florida for 12/7/24. After purchasing the tickets the online registration was not working, I tried calling and they do not have a working number so I emailed them. After 24 hours of silence I messaged them on Facebook and managed to get a response and after 2 hours of messaging they could not figure out the issue and promised to email me with a resolution. That resolution never came so day 3 now I am messaging them again and they are going in circles with the same trouble shooting from the day before. Eventually I give up because they stop responding and try to return the tickets on Groupon which promised a 3 day refund guarantee. Groupon which also doesn’t have a working day phone number says they have to reach out to Spartan race because these tickets are now not refundable per their policy even though they advertise there is and they reply an hour later that Spartan race verified their registration IS WORKING, I try again and it is of course not working. I had no choice but to dispute the charge with my credit card company. I will be filing a claim with the court if need be.

Vouchers incentive to make a purchase. My experience DO NOT DO IT !!!! Made the purchase for AA breakdown cover Surprise - NO VOUCHERS. !!!!!!!! Check the various sites for groupon reviews - makes great reading all 0-1 star with tales of misery !!!!!!!

Groupon have double booked several of my orders, they refunded some only to groupon bucks now are refusing others unless i can prove i did not use the,. it has taken me months to try and sort this but getting no where they can see vouchers were not redeemed we contacted them before date of event. yvonne

They sell boat tour tickets without tour date confirmation. If tour dates are not available in a short term or don't work for you, they don't refund.

Groupon practices deceptive, deceitful, and fraudulent business. They sell vouchers for, as of July 2024,Open Chair Barbershop which has not done business with Groupon since 2020. I have bought a voucher to used in Dubai as I am living outside, but unable be there in SEP24 as it mention expire, they are refusing to refund it and did not even offer extension. Bad customer service.

My rating reflects the view of so many others. If I could give it less than one I would. It is impossible to get in touch with anyone about a problem. Even the customer "chat" is worthless. DON'T USE GROUPON!! ITS A WORTHLESS AND FRUSTRATING SITE!

I bought a session of profilho. A day or two before the provider cancelled because of insurance issues. The voucher was marked redeemed, despite that not being the case _ I suspect groupon did this to make it more difficult to get a refund. Grouon asked me to get a confirmation email from the provider saying the service was not provided due to their insurance issues. I provided this email to Groupon in early March. Since then they have failed to respond to my emails asking for the response, which was promised within 7 days. This is not the first time. I was stupid to use them again. There is no customer support, and they do not know the meaning of honesty or customer service. Two months after providing them with what they requested, no refund, no communication. It's not very hard, it's impossible to get a refund - £100 down the drain.

Sorry Groupon but you failed to protect a customer, with Layer Thief vendors to stole our money. and some of them are Fake. The price you purchase is not correct, when you want to redeem and schedule they asking for extra. I will NEVER purchase anything from Groupon again!!

I called Esther 1 hour before my appointment to confirm, since I was driving 40 minutes. I gave her my name & Yes, she was expecting me! I get there & the door is locked. I call her & she opens the door. She proceeds to tell me she is so sorry but she thought I was another lady! This girl is a total DITZ! I guess I should b thankful someone this stupid isn’t tattooing my eyebrows!

Using Groupons search I looked up “horseback riding lessons near me”. Groupon’s search led to a service that seemed to be priced reasonably. So I bought it only to find out (after clicking on the purchased Groupon) that it was for a company out in ARIZONA!! I am in Ohio. I realized immediately that it was not right and contacted Groupon who flat out refused to refund my money or help in ANY WAY. I am now out 300$ without so much as an apology. Absolutely ridiculous!! Will never ever use Groupon again. Trash service!

Not a trusted website. I bought a mystery holiday from Groupon. After a week I did not receive the holiday and the company did not contact me (despite the online form saying they would within 72 hours). I contacted groupon to ask for an update, I said could I have either a refund or for them to get the company to contact me. Groupon replied with this: "I'm happy to help, but first I'll need written confirmation from the merchant that you haven't received any services and are eligible for a refund. After a voucher is marked "Redeemed," Groupon can’t modify the status of a voucher without this confirmation. Once you’ve received the merchant’s confirmation, please make sure their email address, date, and time the email was sent are visible and forward it to customer support at When we receive that forwarded email with the required information, we'll be able to issue a refund. I look forward to hearing from you. If you have any further questions, please let me know." Groupon never provided me with any contact details for the company and now in order to get my money back I need to contact a company I've never spoken to. Its clear that once Groupon have taken your money they are done and they have no responsibility to ensure services are provided. I recommend wowcher, they sell the same stuff but will actually ensure services paid for are provided.

Customer service is non-existent. The only channels open to customers is email or chat to outsourced scriptreading bots. They actively work to prevent customers from speaking to any actual employees or execs. They don't pay cashback owed from their Groupon+ program, and don't even respond to BBB complaints. This is a sinking ship that needs to die Signed up for their new Groupon+ Dining Cashback program, made purchases and received confirmation they were recorded, however, the company hasn't paid a dime in cashback. Two weeks now I've gone back and forth with their outsourced scriptreading bots and copy and paste morons and still no resolution. They haven't a clue. They actively prevent customer from contacting actual company reps. There's no phone number to call. Just endless copied and pasted BS. Even BBB and Social Media complaints have gone unresponded to
