I brought 2 dashcams off Halfords 31st October 2019 one has developed a fault and with this lockdown have not been able to get to a store until now 17days past the year. I understand its gone past 1 year but with this pandemic going on and people shielding i thought Halfords would have shown a bit of leeway. Haha how wrong was i. You may have only lost 1 customer but i think when people hear it could well be a few more.

I had previously went for a bike a south shields Halfords customer service was awful spoke to customer services excellent and they booked my bike to be collected at Halfords Team Valley Gateshed Amazing cant praise the service I recieved off a young lad called Hamish I have never had anyone be so helpful pleasent and he took time in helping me what I needed .Hamish is an asset to Halfords I had previously lost all faith in Halfords after my experience at the shields store but Hamish at the Team Valley store has restored this and should be rewarded for his customer service skills infact this lad should be managing south shields store and they may learn the exceptional customer service skills he has .I have awarded Halfords 5 star due to this young man Hamish

Just wanted to write and tell you about my experience in the Carlisle branch of Halfords last night. A young man (didn't get his name) fitted a bulb in the front light of my Hyundai... Sounds simple, but wasn't. He had to take the light assembly out - no mean feat, it had probably not moved in twelve years! With tool kit and torch he worked away for at least quarter of an hour and got the job done. I was so impressed at his cheery attitude, it really made my day. And all for ten pounds including two bulbs! Brilliant service with a smile.

Bought a child scooter that fell apart quickly. Submitted a review to their website which was rejected without explanation. So don't trust the reviews on the website!

Well thankyou to carol at halfords cannock. She is the only person I've ever known to help out. Normally I'm served by young girls who in my opinion dont have any interest.so thankyou carol.

I visit you Crawley store quite a lot and I have got to say thank you to Thomas for your advice and patience with me!! I have got to say his customer service and knowledge was fantastic!! He was friendly and approachable I will be asking to speck with him in the future! As customers we want to be in and out! I wish him all the best for the future and I believe strongly that he will do your store in county oak Crawley very proud! Thanks Thomas 👍🏼

I bought a car seat and I gave my review for the product ( not good) and the service ( good) but my review was moderated and they decided not to put it on their website. Why they ask for feedback or a honest review but then they refuse to put it on their website ? Does it mean that they allow only good reviews to be published instead of honest ones?

Was excited about getting my new personalised number plates. Went to the kirkstall store in Leeds. The front plate went on no problem but the rear one not so easy. First it was put on with lower screw holes showing. I said that I did.nt want it like that. I was told it would have to be stuck on instead, no problem, but then it was stuck on off centre so I said it looked odd and at that point I felt like I was been awkward !!! Why would I pay for new number plates of they are going to look silly ? The plate was then taken off and re stuck over the old sticky bits..needless to say it is already lifting but I won't be going back to that store !!!

I am absolutely frustrated by the way I have been treated by Halfords. They have failed to deliver the bike I purchased over 6 weeks ago and have been no help every time I have contacted them for updates about its location. After 30 days of waiting tried to cancel the order to be told I could not, which is in breach not only the Consumer Rights Act 2015, but also their own Terms and Conditions of Sale for Halfords! Have reported them to the UK trading standards and also the European Online Dispute Resolution platform. Would advise other customers to be very careful when ordering online from them.

Took my car to Halfords Guildford for an MOT. Tyre advisory. I asked if they could replace it immediately. They didn’t have one in stock so Amir went to fetch one for me. Excellent service. Thank you Amir.

Great service at Halfords Durham, professional, efficient and friendly, work to be done clarified at start, and any change to plan / cost communicated before being undertaken. On collection full explanation of work done and breakdown of costs. The centre very helpful in accommodating appointments. Never had a problem with any work carried out and always have confidence in my car. The guys in reception, Ron and Andy, very knowledgeable and helpful.

Just purchased a new windscreen wiper the assistant asked if I wanted it fitted so said yes. It took him all of 30 seconds to fit it for which I was charged ÂŁ3, talk about a rip off, it has really irritated me to the point that I will never purchase anything from Halfords again I actually looked online for this item before giving my business to Halfords, why charge for that ?????

I needed some fittings for roof bars for my Volvo at short notice due to a late availability break. On Monday 10th August I went to your Tamworth branch and saw Gavin. He told me he didn’t have any in store and ran a search at your other branches for me but unfortunately without any look. I told him I was due to go away on Saturday 15th so he ordered some in the hope they would arrive by the Friday/Saturday morning but he couldn’t guarantee they would arrive in time. However Gavin rang me on the Wednesday saying he had rang the depot and explained how urgent my order was and they had sorted it out and the fittings had arrived in store so he could fit them that day for me. I honestly can’t thank him enough as without him I wouldn’t have been able to go away. He was so professional, friendly and went well above what he needed to. He’s a real credit to your company and definitely a member of staff you should keep. Thanks again Gavin

I went into Halfords in Cheltenham retail park. I had an awful scratch on my car and was kindly helped by Ross he was so helpful to help me find the right paint to cover it up. I hope he gets some recognition for this, as he went out his way to come into the car park and see the scratch on my car to make sure we ordered the correct colour paint for my car. By far the best customer service I’ve experienced in a Halfords branch.
