Kapiti Coast. We were very happy with the blinds and installation. However the service and communication was very poor. We paid a $1200 deposit a day after we accepted the quote. 10 days after the quote was paid we had a phone call from Janine, from admin asking if we were going ahead with the blinds. Here we were thinking our blinds were being made, but no. The communication between admin and the Kapiti Owner is obviously not good. The whole experience was disappointing, no communication what so ever throughout, except when I emailed to ask what was happening at different times. I would suggest to use the well known local firm, who I have used in the past, if you want someone that communicates and appreciates your business.

I purchased curtains through harrisons four years ago.The woman who brought samples to our house showed us two samples only and did not bring in anymore samples even though we were not really happy. Curtains turned up which were crooked along the bottom. I complained and they took them away to fix but still crooked all they did was press the curtains. The original women who brought samples and made measurements was not all all helpful and basically left it to the guy who hangs the curtain to sort out. Still hate my curtains and when I can affords to replace them I will using another company.

Cannot believe the effort Paula Youds made to make this a great experience. Her knowledge, kindness and willingness to go that extra mile (in her own time!) were a total stand out. Cannot praise her and her team highly enough.

Friendly and knowledgeable. Provided some good recommendations and the finished product looks fantastic. There was a minor issue with one of the blinds being cut the wrong size but it was sorted professionally without any hassles. Overall, excellent service. Would use again.

The crew at Harrisons were amazing right from the start of my renovations. The team took their time and patience to explain everything to me and nothing was ever a problem. I would highly recommend them to everyone who is looking at renovating their home

I had a consult booked no show. The consultant involved told me she would get back to me with a further date. Nothing. I consulted Harrison’s on a recommendation. Still nothing. Harrison’s need to get their act into gear.

I was nothing but impressed from the minute Sylvia came to measure our curtains. Sylvia was on time, professional, and very helpful. I was told an expectation right from the start when my curtains should arrive, and was kept up to date with regular personalized emails regarding the progress from Eliz. Again when it came to installing, Ruhan was on time, professional and did such a wonderful job hanging them. My son now has a wonderful warm, dark room!!! I will be using again and from my experience would definitely recommend.

I purchased Roman blinds and a large curtain for the lounge. My windows are tinted. After one year light green roman blinds had fade lines and the large curtain main edge is turning yellow. I have friends with cheap curtains that have not faded. My expensive Harrison curtains look horrible when down and I’m not happy.

Hi Julie, Thank you for your feedback. All fabrics will fade over time due to New Zealand’s extraordinarily high UV. Over time sheers, fabrics and linings can become discoloured and or start disintegrating - this is perfectly normal and it means that they are doing their job in protecting the rest of the flooring/furniture in the home. You may notice that there will be fading in some areas and not in others, and this will be as a direct result of exposure to UV. Thanks, Customer Care

Not very enthusiastic or friendly or overly helpful but stuck to her job and did it efficiently enough. Mistake was made on installation when blind was incorrectly cut. Overall efficient service though.

Fowler Homes Christchurch North has used Christina at Harrisons Christchurch a few times now, we find her and her team excellent to deal with. Her knowledge, solutions and recommendations are exceptional and her installs are completed on time with no issues. We would recommend her to anyone looking at window dressings for their home.
