“The worst delivery experience in my life. I was promised that my parcel would arrive on Monday morning, and I already made plans and was supposed to leave the next day for 2 months. For some reason the driver could not find my adress!!! My roommate was also receiving a hermes package and she got hers and mine just drove away! What the hell!! And then I chose for it to be delivered to a packetshop that is located 5 minutes from my home (thought it would be easier for the driver to find) and it took them 3 FREAKING DAYS to deliver to the packetshop. Simply UNACCEPTABLE AND AWFUL. Would not recommend hermes to anyone.”

“Ich empfand den gesamten Prozess als sehr intransparent, angefangen bei der Tatsache, dass ich nicht wusste, dass ich einen Service eines Unternehmens namens BorderGuru und nicht gerade Hermes beauftragte. Dies führte dazu, dass der Kundenservice für Pakete, die innerhalb Deutschlands oder in EU-Länder geliefert werden, noch schlechter war als der reguläre Hermes-Service.
Die Tatsache, dass es keine Telefonnummer gibt, um BorderGuru zu kontaktieren, und die Tatsache, dass alle Informationen, die ich erhielt, im Grunde alles waren, was ich bereits auf der Tracking-Website finden konnte. Die Tatsache, dass nichts geändert werden konnte, dass niemand in der Lage zu sein schien, den Verlauf meines Pakets zu ändern oder Informationen darüber zu geben, wie viel es kosten würde, es an mich zurückzuschicken, wenn es im Zoll stecken blieb. Das alles gab mir das Gefühl, völlig machtlos gegenüber meinem Paket zu sein, und vermittelte mir den Eindruck, dass auch Hermes keinen Einfluss mehr auf mein Paket hatte und mir keine Informationen geben konnte, die zu diesem Zeitpunkt für meine Entscheidung wichtig waren. Ich hatte das Gefühl, dass Hermes/BorderGuru die Situation und die damit verbundenen Abläufe überhaupt nicht kannten. Zumindest habe ich das vom Kundenservice erfahren, der nicht nur keine weiteren Informationen und keine Handlungsbefugnis hatte, sondern auch mehrere Tage für eine Antwort brauchte.
Ich fühlte mich völlig auf mich allein gestellt. Ich verstehe nicht, wie Hermes sich auf den Weg machen kann, Dienstleistungen für Privatkunden zu erbringen, und dann einen so schrecklichen Kundenservice anbieten kann! Nachdem ich eine so schreckliche Erfahrung gemacht habe, werde ich versuchen, dafür zu sorgen, dass andere Menschen auf all diese Mängel und die Aspekte des Prozesses aufmerksam gemacht werden, die Hermes seinen Privatkunden nicht mitteilt, während sie den Versand eines Pakets buchen. Diese Unfähigkeit, das Paket zu kontrollieren und detaillierte Informationen zu liefern, die Tatsache, dass der Kundenservice so langsam ist und keinen direkten Kontakt mit den Kunden anbietet, sollte im Bestellprozess hervorgehoben werden. Hätte ich gewusst, dass Hermes einen so schlechten Support bietet, hätte ich die Lieferung dieses Pakets nie in Auftrag gegeben! Ich hoffe, dass auch andere potenzielle Privatkunden in Zukunft davon Abstand nehmen werden.”

Well the parcel has now disappeared into the ether.Customer service is non existent. I don't want to be dealing with a chat bot. I have contacted them at least 3 times but they obviously haven't got the common courtesy to give me an update. Useless company, use anybody else but not them.”

Hermes deserves not even a single star. I've scheduled to pickup an XXL package on a Saturday and made sure to be at home the entire day from 8:00 - 20:00. Of course, nobody showed up. Since nobody was working after 20:00, I had to wait until Monday to contact their customer service. They scheduled a new pickup order and the earliest possible is Tuesday. Again on Tuesday there was no surprise, not a single person showed up nor rang the bell, nothing. Called the customer service again and they've confirmed that my delivery address is input correctly. All in all, I've wasted my effort to print the label, sacrificed my weekend and suffered from 4 days of delay in total and receive ZERO service. This is the first time I've "used" Hermes and it will definitely be the very last time.”
