“Poor Customer Service, Misrepresentation & Unresolved Issues
I regret signing up with Hitched, as my experience has been extremely disappointing. There were clear discrepancies between what was promised and what was actually provided, and when I raised legitimate concerns, my complaint was handled poorly. It took 9 weeks and multiple follow-ups before I was finally able to have a conversation about my concerns, which is completely unacceptable.
Despite multiple attempts to resolve the issue, I was repeatedly ignored or met with dismissive responses. Key information that was confirmed as being held on record was not provided in response to my Data Subject Access Request (DSAR), which raises serious concerns about transparency and compliance with data protection laws.
Furthermore, when I challenged inaccurate statements and misrepresentation, my concerns were brushed aside. Instead of addressing the core issues, Hitched’s approach was to defend their staff rather than investigate or resolve the matter properly. Their complaints process, which supposedly includes mediation, was also ignored without explanation.
To make matters worse, I was falsely accused of being aggressive during a call, despite the fact that I was responding to inaccurate claims and, at one point, a verbal threat made towards me. Hitched refused to provide a transcript or recording of this call when requested.
Their resolution was to simply delete my account and ban me from the platform in the future, rather than address the valid concerns I raised. This does not change the fact that my experience with them has been one of frustration, poor service, and a complete lack of accountability.
If you’re a wedding supplier considering using this platform, I strongly advise proceeding with caution.
Would not recommend.”
“A Total Waste of Time and Money
Signing up for Hitched has been my biggest mistake. Over the last 10 months, despite paying £200 a month, I’ve only managed to book one wedding. Most leads are completely useless—couples simply tick a box to show interest and often contact multiple suppliers at once with no genuine intention to book. Hardly anyone responds, and many leads seem fake. It’s been a frustrating experience and a complete waste of money. I strongly advise suppliers to avoid Hitched and invest in more effective platforms.”
“Today Sophie from customer service, now said I didn't provide details as a supplier... Mind you I only changed details yesterday to stop spamming emails. They have still insisted my account won't be terminated and to pay invoice.
I am now. Told to provide medical evidence..... the longer this takes the worse it is on my health! . Avoid at all cost. Scammers the lot of them”
“Disgusting company who scam suppliers.... Warning to all new suppliers or potential.. they are SCAMMERS!!! in 8 months only 24 emails which lead to nothing they claim 1million monthly shoppers all lies false advertising and they have been having me after asking to terminate my contract ... which omg Shaun Sophie, Ioania or whatever all professional scammers beware .. I am seeking legal advice as they need to be shut down they are vile.. Avoid!!!!!”
“If you're a supplier, do not sign up with Hitched. They will scam you into signing a contract, take loads of money from you, and not allow you to terminate if you are unhappy with their service. Their service is non-existent. Please take my advice and avoid them at all costs. They make loads of promises of great return on investment and exposure and simply do not deliver. Once you sign the contract they disappear and offer no support.”
“My wedding photographer was Gemma Hopkin Ceative. I must say she did the most beautiful pictures of our Wedding day, everything was just the way we wanted it. Stunning photos and so well done. Thank you so much Gemma...xx❤”
“Oh, how should I start?
I have a photography business company, based in Lake District, Cumbria,UK.
I currently have 2 top gold listings with Hitched. I had 3 not long ago.
The issues I have with them is that unfortunately they started to be extremely unprofessional.
As one of our counties listing expired, we've been kicked out automatically from their website, without any warning that our listing will expire, without any notice that we will be take out. As soon as I called to ask for clarifications, the nightmare started.
I belive I ve upset some people, as they ve started to cover each others back, nobody took the responsabilitate for the mistakes they did.
Instead, they ve started to throw some random prices for renewal of the county that expired.
Please note:
- In June 2023 I've paid £1200 including vat for the top gold package, for a year!
- In July 2023 I've been offered the same offer for another county, same top gold listing.
- In August 2023 I've been offered the following offers:
1. £1604+ vat for 7 months
2. £2267+vat for 12 months
3. £5039 including vat for 12 months.
Now, mathematics are simple, 3 different offers made by our account manager and the head of renewals from hitched.
EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL!!
PLAYING BINGO WITH OUR MONEY AND OUR TIME!
AVOID, AVOID, AVOID.
I have print screens with all the emails from them, if anyone else is interested to find out more.
Please be careful when signing up as a vendor with them!

“Melanie Jane was our photographer.
She was easy to talk to and the pictures she did for us was amazing.
She really did know how to catch those happy memories. Very highly recommended. Thank you Melanie xx”
“Dishonest advertising company!
Have been with this company for over 8 years but since immediate bought the company we had lots of problem,
Firstly for two years they have not delivered what we agreed and When I found out no one took responsibility and put me in lots of pressure.
Secondly this year they have offered us few free newsletter to stay with them But the date of most of news letters are for the last three month of contract, Few weeks a go their sale person JOANA emailed me and tried to cancel the Newsletters from package which I have completely disagreed as free newsletter was part and condition of me staying with them ..
To all suppliers be very carful before going to any contract with them or paying them. Please make sure to asked them put everything in writing and check your listing in daily or weekly basses .”
“We have gone through the checklist to help us make sure we are prepared for the onset of our wedding and bought our save the date cards. We loved the design,it was send in good time, the quality was brilliant and we also were happy with the price. Such a lovely way to start informing people of our special day.”
