online shopping awful, wrong sizes delivered

I made an online order which was accepted, after more than a week of waiting for my parcel I contacted H&M Customer Services only to be told that their courier service mixed up their orders and I will not be recieving my order, when I inquiered if they could resend the order they said this will not be possible and they can only refund it and I can keep checking their website for the items to re-appear and re-order them myself. I am very disappointed with their service and attitude and will not be using their online service again.

Awful!! 1st order didn't progress after 4 days so rang customer service. Told me it had got stuck in the system and would need to re-order, told me money wouldn't be claimed from card, even gave me a free next day delivery code for re-order. Re-ordered and arrived next day - all good I'm thinking until the original order then turns up 5 days later and they have charged me for it. When I rang customer service again they said 'oh take it to your nearest store' (22 miles away!) not our fault you paid by credit card so basically suck up paying the interest for two lots of £300 order! Actual words also: 'we're not going to give you a good will gesture as we didn't expect it to arrive to you' - well maybe just a 'sorry this has happened' would have been enough! Looks like all the other terrible reviews are correct. Will be returning everything due to horrid customer service.

I bought some goods online. Unfortunately had to return them. Wanted to send them back by Hermes, H&M contractor courier. After arranging the pick up of goods no one arrive to collect them. It took me 6!!! phone calls and one email, over two and a half weeks to get the answer to what is going on. It still has not been resolved. No one came to pick up the goods. I have been told someone will call me back. I have been told the courier will call me back etc. No one ever did. I have waisted so much time talking to people over the phone and waiting for the courier to collect the goods. Never again! I have been very patient with their customer service but now I will let my lawyer deal with it.

Bought some present online 9 days ago. Just today 21st of December received an email saying that they cancelled my order. How can it be? What kind of company communicates this after 9 days of the purchase? What kind of system do they have set up...definitely they have a problem. You can't trust at all that you will receive what you ordered. What . they show on the website is what they should have in availability...should not be that difficult.

Ordered last night. Address wrong on system apparently H&M know about this but refusing to put correct address or issue refunds. Totally against the law.

""Disgusting online service. I paid for goods without realising I needed to do a bank transfer at a later date. I then received an email a few weeks later saying I have to pay a penalty charge late fee, and that I now have a bad credit debt....all for the sake of £38. The funny thing is, I didn't receive any late notice warning beforehand. Once I found out I tried to call them and pay over the phone, but they wouldn't accept any payment. They said I had to set up a direct debit with my bank. The customer service team do not want to help either with this matter. Do not buy from this company online. They are despicable.

Long delivery and most of The ordered product did show up due to wrong Stock on their website. Some of The product wich did show up was in bad quality.

Hermes apparently couldn't find my house but reported that they had tried three times to deliver and then sent my goods back to the depot. I run a business from my address and there is someone here to receive goods at all times — and a dog that barks whenever someone comes up the path. No card or note was left to indicate that they had called at the house. I tried to call H+M about this and was waiting to talk to someone when I was put through to their post-assistance survey which asked me to grade how helpful I'd found their Customer Services rep before cutting me off! When I dialled again and waited and finally got through to a human she dealt with me politely but steered her way carefully through our conversation without accepting any responsibility for what had happened and without apologising. I came away feeling that it was my problem for living slightly off the beaten track — though all the other delivery companies manage to find me. Badly handled all round. The least a customer service rep should say is sorry for the inconvenience and for mucking the customer around. Complete fail, H+M

Store they not friendly basicaly Harrow, if you asked the manager left you speak alone, and after staff laughing,, is not a good service i hope never coming thid shopping anymore.

The lady at the till was rushing me and snapped at me when I was trying to put the clothes I bought in my bag (reason she snapped was because I was taking a bit too long signing a refund receipt).

H&M sizing is absolutely awful. Have to order 3 sizes up from my normal! Added to that, the trousers I bought have started falling apart within a week. Truly terrible.

Rubbish customer Service. When I wrote to complain, they assured me they have excellent customer service. Not in my experience, and saying they do doesn't mean it will magically come true! Avoid Tamworth in Staffs unless you want a non-responsive, robot-like response!

I love H&M clothes and order regularly online. The kids clothes are all great sizing (I buy across a range of ages varying from 12 months to 12 years) and the price and quality of clothing is really good value for money and great quality considering so reasonably priced. I must be one of a few buying women's sizing that does not have an issue with the fit and sizing of H&M clothing. I buy all of my wardrobe staples from here and while I prefer Toyshop for jeans I happily for into a size 12, even with a generous bum, hips and legs varying on the chunky. Love the variety although the quality of the vest tops had declined this season and they are bobbling quite quickly. The biggest downside of H&M is their customer service which is generally not much of a service at all. Staff answer emails which the shortest most irrelevant answer possible. They respond in a way that ensures they do the least amount if work possible, and despite writing comprehensive, detailed emails it generally takes some weeks and plentiful emails before problems are sorted, e.g. missing parcels, payments not credited to account, account info incorrect. The telephone service is no better as they generally advise to put your concern in an email. And so the circle of frustration begins. On the brightside, they do however, tend to sort problems eventually, so one requires significant patience. Fortunately for H&M, the benefits outlay the negative aspects. And so I will continue to make purchases and grin and bear the rest.

Disgusted,after ordering 21 items received e-mail that 16 where out of stock?received shipping confirmation for remaining 5 items,marked as dispatched,great on there way,5 out of 21 not a great result,awaiting arrival of my parcel,any day.NO another e-mail this time. THANK-YOU FOR YOUR RETURN.What return?those last remaining 5 items have now been marked as dispatched and returned,without me ever getting a look at them.Oh well I will have to console myself with the thought,they would have not been suitable/fitted.I will never know.Wasted hours of my time browsing site,and it is not the 1st time,but it will be my last.Terrible service.

Rubbish customer service website order went missing as delivered to wrong address !!! Still waiting over 2 weeks later to hear back about it even though they said they would get back to me in 24 hours !!!

Paid for next day delivery, didn't get it. Tried contacting H&M, was on hold for 20 minutes... apparently there were a lot of people calling them, which is not a good sign. If you have a lot of people calling you, you are obviously really bad! Finalyy got my package, but if it takes waiting and arguing it is not worth it...

I went in in search of jeans asked for a size which was not out, was told rudely alll stock is out. Purchased some items lady at the till "Ruth" served me I pit my bag on the counter she asked me not put my bag on counter ? Well I wanted take my purse out to pay for the damm items? She was putting 3 jeans in small bag so I asked he did will pay for bigger bag don't stuff it in not even folded nicely! I paid she dumped my change I the counter no thankyiu or anything just a rude stare...this i stand one in oxford. Disgraceful!
