“Stuart was really helpful but I was left with the feeling that the company policy might be to phone customers to try to increase costs after they have placed a booking on the website. I was told yhe price had increased and when I challenged that by looking at prices on the website and therefor said I would just cancel (where they had actually gone down) a referral was made to a supervisor to honour the original price. This seems a bit devious and as it is my first time booking with this company it leaves a bit of a bad feeling. As I said the member of staff was helpful but if this is company policy it does put employers in a difficult position and m3ant I was very close to cancelling.”

“I was surprised when booking and paying for a holiday, to then receive an email to say it would take up to 72 hours to be confirmed. I now understand it’s down to if any of the variable prices or details change between booking and confirmation. It seems a bit of an odd way of doing it, I certainly haven’t experienced that before, but one call to customer services and it was all sorted. Stuart was fantastic, super helpful, polite and reassuring. Will book again through Holiday Gems after the service I received from Stuart.”

“Following online booking as stated that I'd be called within 72 hours to finalise booking. Stuart called took me through the booking in a warm friendly and professional manner. Stuart gave some useful information re flight online check in. Confirmation email received within the 15 minutes as Stuart stated.”

“Having booked online I was informed a day later that hotel was not available. This is reason for loss of one star. I was busy in the pub when Sam called and called back next day. Sam was efficient and sorted another hotel of my choice. She answered my questions and queries in a friendly manner and was not in a rush to sort out my deal and terminate the call. Good service after a worrying start. Would use Holiday Gem again.”

“After days of searching for last minute holiday, and comparing sites, going round in circles and painfully watching the prices go up, holiday gems popped up on my screen off the back of comparison site, and finally I found and booked our holiday with ease! Customer relations contacted me and Sam was lovely! She helped me promptly and kindly and 5 minutes later the Confirmation email arrived, all that's left I'd yo pack and get there! Thanks sam”

“I was very frustrated to find my holiday had increased bu £39pp when I decided to cancel it. However, the manager Stuart took over from my clerk, and the service from him was 5 star plus, he is an exceptionally calm thorough very diligent manager and I continued with my booking ONLY because of him. If I ever set up a travel agency (not likely) I will be poaching him. This was the best service from an individual I have had in my 25 years of booking a holiday with anyone. Give that man a rise. A pleasure Stuart and thank you so so much.”
