Store supposedly working out a contract with new countertop installation crew. Drug their feet so much on this I went and ordered my countertop elsewhere and had a private installation crew put them in. Home Depot is loosing business over all of this. Hard to get the countertop person to answer the phone and she is hardly ever there when I come in to speak to them. Poor customer service for sure.

Home Depot. is the worst. Do not have them install anything. 2 years and they still have not finished installing my exterior doors. All I get are excuses when I finally do speak to someone. And I paid in advance for these doors. NEVER AGAIN!!

Usually I would give you five stars but today you get one. Cashier asleep at the register in the contractors area. When she woke up she just stared at me, started scanning on my items two or three times. I asked her if that was right she just looked at me, I loaded my material in the truck looked at my receipt, went back in showed it to her, just stared at me told me to take it up with the return desk and went back to sleep I guess with her eyes open. Fayetteville Arkansas a shame today.

I ordered a closet maid shelf kit. When I opened the box there was a broom and dustpan set. I was informed by customer service that since the box that was delivered was the same weight as what I ordered they could do nothing about it. If you order from Home Depot have it delivered to the store and open it there. As for me I will be shopping at Lowes from now on.

I came here to leave a review of a visit we had to your Pontiac location. On 1/20/2022.My wife and are were in need of a stove and hadn't bought one before and needed a lot of help. We went to Lowes and Menards first because they were on the way toward Home Depot. We didn't receive the help we needed and so after going into the appliance section at your Pontiac location we ran into James. Well, there are no words to explain how he just blew us both away with his knowledge and patience in helping us decide on what was the right fit for us. He was AMAZING. After we decided on the stove he became a mentor to another associate who has been wanting to learn more in other departments. And with our permission showing her how to complete our transaction. Her name is Laverne. She to was extremely polite and was really interested in learning other things besides hardware. So after a while, James realized that we would have to go to the front cashier to be able to complete the sale. Instead of just sending us up to the front he and Laverne took us up there to be sure that things went right. Along the way as other customers were stopping them for help, he didn't just brush them off he and Laverne made sure that they too got assistance. When we got to the front cashier we met April. James explained what we needed to have to happen. She went right to work and after a few seconds realized that what needed to be done was not something she had done, being she had only been there a month. Well as polite and respectful as anyone could be James went right into showing her and allowing her to do what she needed to do to get our sale through. We had an old credit account with you guys and they had to sign us up for a new one. I will say that April was fantastic in the way she accepted his help and wanted to be sure she took good care of us. When we left there that day my confidence in customer assistance was really reinstated. I really hope that this gets back to them at that location. They really deserve a big THANK YOU for just doing what we all want when we as customers come into your stores. I can count on one hand how many reviews I've left in my life but this one is one that really is so deserved. I'll be needing a John Deere in the spring and I will be going to that store now to pick it up. Please be sure that they get the pat on the back they deserve.

We recently went into Home Depot to purchase a washer and dryer. When asked if we had and gas or electric hookup, we stated we unaware of the type of hook up we had, which we repeatedly told Cristal we weren’t sure if we had an electric or gas and we were not shown what the difference was and which out any confirmation the order proceeded to be placed. Once it was delivered the delivery guy told us we had a gas dryer and we’re receiving an electric dryer (we were told we could refuse if the appliances were damaged or defective. We were unaware we could have refused the delivery if the wrong item is ordered. It wasn’t until I went in to the store the same day as I was once informed you could refuse if it is the type of dryer as well once I went in to get help by Sylvia) if I had known this information previously I would have definitely refused the order. We spoke to Kirsten the appliance supervisor who was VERY VERY unhelpful and on top of being unhelpful was really Rude! We’ve offered to pay the restocking fee and purchase the new gas dryer through them and she didn’t want to hear anything we had to say. So much for customer service!! If you need help purchasing appliance I will NEVER recommend this The Home Depot ever again!

Went thru Home Depot for our new kitchen. It has been nothing short of pure hell!! Broken cabinets, missing cabinets, cabinets and hardware having to be ordered multiple times!! I wish we would have taken the time to read the reviews before going thru them. Had a phone call from one of the higher-ups about compensation because of everything we have gone thru, said higher up is now denying ever talking to us. It has been months now and our kitchen still isn't done!! Please read reviews on Home Depot and American Woodmark, which is the cabinet maker for Home Depot. They do not deliver a good product and will not stand behind their product!!

On Home Depot’s official website ordered Dewalt cordless drill kit DCD797D2 with HDepod’s promo discount 15%. Once received the tool noticed that packaging was not accurate as it supposed to, the stickers with shipping barcode was scratched off the packaging but I still could read partially the address and some other information which doesn’t belong to me. Opened the box, one of the battery packs is not responding not on the drill itself and not on charger neither . Next day made my trip to Home Depot for replacement. They didn’t have it in stock. So representative told me that they will refund only the actual paid price, which means I can forget about promo code from HD, because it was reframed on the drill at first purchase. And same representative told to order online again. So from my understanding this is some kind of ponzy scheme, “Dear value customer here is your welcome to neighborhood discount 15%, which we’ll take away from you by sending you a defective item”. Coincidence you might say, OK I had nothing to do and ordered online right at the store another the same kit. Today I got a package with my replacement of the same model Dewalt. Opened the box… Battery pack which is on the drill is not responding again not in charger neither. And this drill kit has weariness signs, scratches on the battery packs and drill driver itself. I’got proofs this time, recorded unpacking video. How wonderful Home Depo cares about their customers 😕 Very disappointed with Home Depot You just lost one more customer.

This is not my first encounter with Ragina Thackston at the Snohomish HD. She has assisted me on two other occasions. In all my dealing with Regina and her staff have been top notch service.

On 02/08/2023 at 2:45 pm. I called Home Depot in Riverbank, California seeking assistance with custom window blinds. I had no problem getting through to someone that said they would direct my call, but after the phone rang three times it hung up on me. So, I called back and the same thing happened. Called a third time, same thing. All said and done this was probably 10 minutes or so. On the fourth attempt, when asked asked where my call should be directed, I said, "Before I tell you that, I want you to know that this is the fourth time I've called and I hope you don't hang up on me because Lowes is so much further away." She apologized and asked what department I wanted and I told her window blinds. She said she would call the manager of that department directly. Like most smart phones, mine can tall me how long I've been on line. After 12 minutes a man answered asking me what department I wanted. I decided I could get angry or have fun. I told him window blinds, and was put on hold. After 15 minutes someone answered asking where I wanted to be directed. Window blinds, said I. 10 minutes later, someone answered and asked where I wanted to be directed. Window blinds, I said yet again! 22 minutes later someone answered from window blinds! They asked how they could help and I said, "It's painfully obvious that you can't because you don't give a flying rats ass about your customers as I've wasted around 59 minutes of my life trying to give y'all some of my hard earned money! I then called Lowes where I got through the 1st time. Shame on you! Fish stink from the head down! You are more than welcome to contact me!

Warranty,Where should I start, this is a two Company horrible nightmare experience and shall be left for Both Home Depot as well as Samsung. I reached out to Home Depot as the original purchase was made with via Home Depot online. Samsung washer/dryer purchased with a one year manufacturer warranty. Come to find out a one year warranty isn't actually a one year warranty, the warranty starts from the day the units were produced, not purchased. I learned of this information when I tried to purchase the extended warranty prior to the yr warranty expiring. Samsung informed me the unit was 14 months old and no longer eligible, what?Samsung blamed Home Depot ,OH Home Depot Knew, my opinion Home depot banks on a person purchasing a warranty from them. What if a person doesn't have the extra at that time...(per home depot agent,it's not thier job to sell Samsung products ,warranties)but you sell the mech right!!!lets not forget the wonderful Home depot manager Lucas that left me on enteral hold, and never bother to return to the call...What's disheartening is these people/the sells people know this information yet they fail to properly inform the consumer, what is it buried on page 999999 on the bottom left hand side in the corner. Samsung's technical support/technicians can't leave them out ,I placed at least 20 calls to Samsung looking for some sort of reslove per Samsung the warranty expired in January, actually it doesn't expire until March 3rd,2023. Finally two technicians came out, they for the most part spoke amongst themselves in a foreign language, im assuming stated I damaged my drying my a door, there is no damage on the outside of the door!!! Therefore making the warranty void,I guess I caused the stink in the washer ,by the way,I called Samsung a day or so after I received the washer about that issue Almost a year later same issue.. the tech said just leave the door open, but water stays in there it will dry,ok,do can you replace the rubber...this is a 1700 nightmare!!!! Samsung, Home Depot thanks, but never again will I purchase anything for either Company....Buyer beware

We purchased top of the line replacement windows. We spent the extra to get the best windows with a forever warranty. Sales rep advised no matter the issue, Home Depot would replace. We had a sprinkler miss adjusted and left water spotting. We spent months to get someone to come out. The manufacturer, Simonton, nor Home Depot is standing by the warranty saying it is not covered. We emailed Mr. Decker and Mr. Blake only to hear from a customer service rep who didn't even read all the information we sent. Long and short of it is, DO NOT LET THEM UPSELL YOU AS THEY DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR WARRANTY. We spent a total of $11,000 on their windows and installation to be told, sorry but it's not covered.

Tired of being profiled and followed around like we are crooks. We are retired seniors so what gives? Are you hearing rumors or are you making them up as you go? We live a distance from the store so when we get there we usually have to pick out items from several locations. More workers around when it`s game time but not so much when we need help. I shop with a specific list and get done as quick as possible. Would buy more items if we could shop in a friendly store. You might increase your sales if you let people look around in peace.

I live in rural part of the county. the end of the public road is worn but has space to drive around the worn portion. My drive is packed sand with crush and run. twice Home Depot has called to say they are on their way and I have unpacked my fridge and waited. Once it was raining. Once not rainy but some water in a puddle at end of the road. I am having major renovations on property and have had large delivery trucks in and out of my drive for weeks, rain or shine. Absolutely NO PROBLEM. The land is SAND. the drive is hard topped with crush and run - no holes- no mud. I am livid that once again they won't deliver after I. have spent considerable time unloading my fridge. This is the absolutely craziest thing I have been a part of. I would understand if the drive was soft or full of holes. Then only issue is a big hole at end of culdesac which is easily avoided. Done Done Done with Home Depot. Horrible horrible customer care.

Purchased a freezer online and my credit card was charged December 24th. First delivered freezer never made it off the truck as the door was smashed. Second freezer delivered January 10th, again damaged and smashed in the back. Home Depot picked up the freezer January 14th after THREE phone calls trying to receive my credit card refund and NOT receiving it I filed a dispute with my credit card company! There are too many big box stores to purchase from. I will NOT be shopping at Home Depot again!!!

I purchased alot of bamboo flooring which we picked up ourselves, I was having a hard time getting it put together so I went up there to home depot to see if they could explain what I need to do with this particular flooring. I was told they could put my name in the system for their contractors to call to explain. So they couldn't have anyone in the store come and help me out. Their so called contractors kept calling me and one gave a good price to come and do it. I went ahead and let him since he was contracted through a place who does lay floors. They did such a lousy job. I pointed out broken pieces of flooring pieces that I could literally grab with my hands and just pick up after they claimed to have laid it they said they would fix it and they did not they put holes in my walls and did not leave any expansion gaps between each plank so now my floors are starting to pop up. They left debris laying on my shed outside a window and did not even want to put my baseboards back on and they didnt. I spoke with home depot about this who said they dont settle these issues since it is through a contractor. They also said they would send me a link to send pictures and could possibly send a $500 check which couple months later still waiting for this link. I have been out around 4700 dollars for these floors and all home depot can say is sorry that happened. HELLO HOME DEPOT YOU SIGN THESE CONTRACTORS ON AND PROVIDE THE SERVICE FOR CUSTOMERS TO BE CONTACTED BY THEM. You provide a service and will not take responsibility. Maybe you should make sure these contractors are going to make you look good instead of like a bunch or morons who can't perform the job you are supposed to be experts in. Dont offer a service if you have no idea what kind of contractor you signed on. And dont offer a service you can't make good on. You take 1st come 1st serve contractors and it doesnt matter what kind of work they really do as long as you get your money. I'm done shopping home depot and will take my money and all my projects somewhere where they can be honest and hold some kind of conscious. I left my email below for home depot if they would like to reach out for redemption. I tried posting pictures but it wouldn't post the review with them
