Where to start? The wife ordered a freezer and paid 100.00 extra to bring it into the basement, The Truck pulled a very badly damaged box out and set it in the snow slush and salt on the street. Tell them they have to come in the back door and for some reason, they don't unbox it outside but decide to bring it in-house and end up dragging it down the stairs repping the carpet of multiple runners, and damaging the wall. along with their dirty slushy boots, we declined the delivery after seeing the severe damage they marked it as delivered and took two hours on the phone to get that corrected. And the damage still hasn't been taken care of. fast forward another week and a new snowblower was to be delivered and somehow it went missing-fell off the truck I guess. I ordered Nov 25 After having to get a refund cancel the order and reorder set for delivery on 12/27/24 get an email out for delivery end of the day and nothing after two hours on the phone to find out it didn't make it on the truck and now it will be 01/02/24. I just happen to look out the kitchen window to see the same morons dragging a destroyed box off the truck and putting it in the alley by the garage door and fleed while I was yelling we aren't accepting it. Get the phone out and start recording as they drive away and inspect the damage, it is severe, another 2 hours on the phone and are offered 250.00 and keep the snowblower lol checked the parts and there are 425.00 in parts needed to be new and undamaged WTH Decades-long customer that is in shock. Just moved into a new house and need all the new appliances and household stuff and can guarantee will never in my life go to homedepot again

I purchased an exterior door for an addition to my home from HD. Purchased Oct 8th 2024 it was due Dec 24th. I thought it was a long time to wait for a door that was nothing special — it was just a regular exterior 3.0 x 80in door! But okay, I would be patient even though there is a hole in my wall coved with plywood for nearly three months in the middle of winter — hey no problem. Well so much for patience on my part and responsibility and customer service on Home Depot's part. The new arrival date is Jan 13th and I've run out of patience. Hey HD, don't promise what you can't deliver on, you're not the only store in town.

The bad experience is ongoing. Ordering an appliance online in December and being told it would be delivered December 21. Not hearing anything, I had to chase up Home Depot and was given the runaround. My question is if you can call to say it’s going to be delivered why can’t you call to say it isn’t.? Then being told it would be delivered another date, then another date again. no appliance, no delivery date, who is responsible for lying to the customer about delivery dates?? Home Depot has a responsibility to find out what is going on with whoever they are using as a courier! Finally found out it’s stuck somewhere that is closed till after the holidays! So WHY weren’t we told, why are we lied to about a delivery date.?? if and when we eventually receive this, we expect massive compensation for lost wages, for taking time off over and over again to make sure someone is here. The virtual assistant has no answers. Going on the phone means taking more hours out of the day, it is an inefficient way to sell and deliver products online. My husband has a successful contracting business in Guelph, you can be sure we will not be buying anything from Home Depot from now on for business or other purposes. Also, that we will spread the word about the inefficiency of your service.

I had the wrong chain on my chainsaw which caused the saw to buck, throw a bolt and injure me the last time I used it. George, at the East Cobb Home Depot in Marietta, GA found the right one for me on New Year's Day 2025 and Hank in the Tool Rental department helped me get a replacement for the missing bolt and nut to hold the bar on safely. Without their help I would have to call a professional tree removal company to remove a downed tree on my property. I love Home Depot! How Doers get more Done!

Rented a tiller and bought it back. While waiting to be unloaded, a truck pulling a trailer clipped the back left side of my truck. He left the scene. I called police and filed a report. The police have asked home Depot for video footage so tag number can be identified. Nearly 3 weeks later we're still waiting. I called corporate and wAs told the store would have to pull video evidence. Store says no, it's corporate that has to pull tape. Very frustrating that I'm getting double talk. I'm guessing that I will have to get a court order to get any help. Shame on home Depot.

We received a smoker grill from our children as a present. It was purchased online and they paid to have it delivered. It was severely damaged and when we called Customer Service for online purchases the rep told us a new one would be delivered and the damaged one picked up. It never showed up and when my husband called back, no one could give him a straight answer. He spent an hour trying to figure it out and it has not yet been resolved. Very unprofessional and clearly untrained staff. We purchase quite a bit at Home Depot annually but will now exclude them from our options. Lowe’s and Menards are much more efficient and easier to do business with.

I recently ordered lumber from our local home depot. I'd normally grab it myself in my pickup, but this was a fairly large order. I had no problems with the order. It was delivered fine. However, the delivery driver started talking about all of the "great tips" that customers had given him on other deliveries....this was while he was unloading the truck; clearly an attempt to guilt me into doing the same.

Two times in 4 months something that was ordered online arrived damaged. Both times it was time sensitive and they have no expedite options although the damage was their fault. A dryer arrived in 5 days, VERY damaged, a replacement was going to take 7 days. Cancelled the order and ordered somewhere else in 5 days. Done with Homedepot online.

Don’t buy an appliance from them because they will Delay and delay delivery as long as they have your money. Then when you ask why they have no information and point the finger at someone else. I won’t buy anything else feom them. Go somewhere else. H0577-685655

Washer and dryer scheduled for delivery and install 12/21 between 10-2 showed up at 2:45 . One of the delivery men ask for a lighter for his cigar the said give him a couple minutes. They then drove off and never came back. We called the delivery service and home Depot neither could get ahold of them. So delivery sent me new email saying delivery would be Mon 12/23. In the morning I received a email was scheduled for today. After 12 I went to track delivery nothing. So I called HD they said it was not on the schedule today. They rescheduled for Thu 12/26. So apparently HD thinks we have nothing better to do before the holidays than sit around for 3 days waiting for hours for non delivery and see no reason to tell the customer about the problem. Spending a few thousand dollars apparently means nothing as does my time. I would give 0 stars but you can't. Terrible delivery Home Depot 👎

You are taking a huge chance if you order anything from Home Depot online. I would not have even given them one star but had to in order to review them. The give false information on delivery times and the run around when trying to get an ETA with no resolution. LOWE's is much better!

It should be Zero rate from our recent experience. We have been a long time customer of Home Depot and now we decide not to work with it anymore. We ordered a new refrigerator because our current one is leaking water to the floor. We had to wait for 2 weeks to get the delivery and the refrigerator was damaged and they brought it back. The second one came a week later and was broken again. I was exhausted and begged them to extra inspect before delivery. And 4 days later, Home Depot again delivered a damaged one. They did not bring enough people to move it to the second floor. And now, water is still leaking and it has been there for almost a month since we ordered a new refrigerated. We have decided to cancel our order and will never buy anything from Home Depot again. Their service is too low level and a kind of waste of time.

I orders some flooring on line . Payed with Home Depot credit card They sent me the receipt which was the only email I received. My flooring was supposed to be delivered on Dec. 18 I called on Dec. 17 because I haven’t heard anything They told me my order was canceled because the payment didn’t go through. This was a $4000 order I have spent a lot of money with Home Depot over the years I’ll take my business elsewhere.

I purchased a toolbox from the home Depot store in Clifton Park New York. I went up there to pick it up and it took forever to get someone to bring it out. The box was together and not in separate boxes as I was led to believe. It was obviously too large to put on my truck. I arranged to have it delivered for an extra fee which I wasn't counting on. Delivery was on time and the men were polite. At the store I noticed there was glue all over the top handle which I decided to overlook because i could clean that off there were several scratches it was obviously a floor model and was not advertised as a floor model. After the delivery man left, I noticed that the key was broken off in the top lock. When I was trying to take it apart to move it to where it was going the bolts holding on the top were stripped because too much torque was put on them or they were the cheapest bolts in the world. One of the bolts was actually broken off inside and another bolt was put in to replace it was was just turning freely. I'm thinking of returning this item not because of the flaws which it has which I can overlook as I don't necessarily need the lock and everything works or I could replace the bolts. My peeve is how could a business tender such an item and such condition to someone especially an item that cost that much. Do your employees have any pride in your products or your companies reputation. I never would have had this happen at small mom and pop store who depends on their customers for return business. I am thinking of returning the product but as of yet been able to contact any customer service agent. To top matters off, I am unable to upload pictures.

I have been billed for finance charge and then another finance charge. I haven't owed them in months, and they just bill finance charges on top of finance charges. I have canceled my Pro account with them and my two Consumer credit cards. I have spent tens of thousands of dollars at Home Depot in the last two years, and will not spend another nickel there. I hope your finance charge will be worth all the sales you just lost.

Purchased GE washer and dryer on sale December 8th 2024 that was to be delivered December 11th, 2024. Paid for removal of old appliance, and delivery and set up of New appliances... Home Depot installer discovered the new one was broken when they set it up... They then took not only my old washing machine that I owned, but the new machine I also owned as I had already paid for it... They said they would replace it on Monday December 16th 2024...a little late but tolerable ... The Friday night, December 13th before new expected delivery I received a robo style call stating delivery date had been changed to March 10th 2025... Not even close to delivery date I purchased... so now Home Depot took my old washing machine... they took my new washing machine...they took my money... They also took my trust... I have no washing machine... Sarah in "Resolution " said even though Home Depot would not be able to deliver the machine I paid for I would receive a full refund... I was disappointed but at least I would then have my money back so I could purchase another washing machine.... That has not happened... Home Depot has yet to refund my money... I have no trust left for Home Depot... or in purchasing any more appliances from them in the future... My old washing machine, gone...My new washing machine I paid for, gone... my $1744.97 gone... missed time at work for delivery gone... They did finally return $256.54 that was for delivery, set up, and hull away of my old washing machine which I wish I still had... because now I can not do laundry at home anymore at all...
