Would give them zero stars if I could. This company has a business model that doesn't take the customer in to consideration whatsoever. My items were ordered back in March and I still hadn't received them. I'd call up and be told different things each time. Eventually I got so frustrated that I requested a refund on all items. I was told this was processed and I'd see my money back in 10 working days. After this time the money still hadn't been returned. I called up again to only be told, wait 2 more days. This time passed and still no refund. I called again and was told the money has left their account and would show in mine shortly. Guess what, still no money in my account. I'll call again this weekend and update you all with their new excuse. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMANY. THEY HAVE NO CONCEPT OF BEING TRUTHFUL

Surprised the delivery time is over a month after the purchase was made. As it is I am in my second week of waiting.

Placed an order in good faith .I was told a few days later the item was out of stock and they wouldnt be able to fulfill the order . That a refund would be back in my account within 10days 8weeks later and phone calls chasing still no credit . Do not use this company

Good Afternoon, I paid and placed an order for several items at the start of May 2020 i called towards the end of May to establish when the order would be fulfilled, to be told someone will call back, no one called, i called again on 4th June to ask again about the delivery status, to be told our delivery team will call you back. No one did, finally i called on Tuesday 9th June and asked to speak to someone i could make a complaint to, SARAH was the "manager" she told me that the items were due to be delivered at some point in July, i asked what the delay was, there does not seem to be any clarity on why they take the money and hang about waiting for items to be made in China to be shipped, however reading an article in The Press Advantage in 2016 Jon Gregory confirmed that they now make most of their products in-house? https://www.pressadvantage.com/story/13622-homes-direct-365-announces-in-house-manufactured-shabby-chic-french-furniture. THEY CONFIRMED THAT THIS ACTUALLY MEANS IN-HOUSE IN CHINA!!!! This seems like a real SCAM of bad service, i have asked for a full refund and will be instructing my lawyers to pursue them should the refund not be forthcoming within 5-10 DAYS as explained by SARAH. SARAH should not be working within customer service she has no comprehension of how to deal with customers and clearly is just fending off disgruntled customers. DO NOT SPEND MONEY OR WASTE TIME LOOKING AT ITEMS THAT THEY CANNOT SUPPLY

Absolutely terrible service. My item arrived damaged after waiting for it for 4 weeks, at which point they tried to offer me £10 off even though it was snapped in half. I advised I just wanted to return for a full refund. They eventually agreed to this and said it would take a maximum of 10 working days. 14 working days later I contacted them where they said, I am being impatient and it had only been 8 working days. I pointed out each day and counted it had been 14. All I keep been told now (21 working days later) they had a problem with their refund system and they are now processing my refund even though I was told this was processed 7 working days ago. The staff are unprofessional and rude. Dont buy from this company they are terrible.

The worst company I’ve ever dealt with. Ordered a lamp 6 weeks ago. I never was told it was discontinued until I contacted them. So the order should have never gone through in the first place! They did offer me alternatives but still huge long delivery dates. I kindly asked For a refund. Which they explained can take up to 10 working days (which I found crazy) any place I’ve had a refund from in the past I’ve received in a few days. got to day 11 and they made an excuse about their bank in Spain having issues refunding and it could take another ‘few’ days. Still waiting for my refund. Would not recommend at all!!!!

So so so disappointed. We ordered furniture 3-4- months ago. They took the money but were told the item wasnt in stock and we wouldnt receive it for 3-4 months. We emailed and tried to cancel. We were told to call them to cancel which we did. The cancellation was never put through and out of the blue 3 months later the item turns up. We called and it turns out the item was never cancelled. Due to family bereavement and is having a baby we did not check out accounts closely but it turns out we were never refunded as promised. Naturally I called and asked what was going on I was met with such rude and unprofessional staff. I was made to feel awful that we did not follow this up sooner once we didnt see the refund. I explained the reasons why I wasnt able to track this closely. I was told I would have to pay for a courier to do the collection for the return. Can I just stress again that we cancelled the item but because these people could not do their job to anywhere near an acceptable standard we were left having to pay courier costs to recoup some of my money but not all. Item was due to be collected on a friday - took a day off work to wait in. They didnt turn up and actually came the monday. I cannot stress enough how much of an awful customer experience this has been and frankly a fight to get my money back. Please everyone seek a more reputable trade. I will never use again.

Totally agree with others should not use this company item arrived (leaf bowl £49.99) it was mouldy all over wood sit look awful, requested return for refund was told to buy oil! Then offered to send me oil and a £10 refund, insisted return for refund and item collected, now nearly 3 weeks ago and NO refund no email reply from customers service and no money returned.

I should have taken on board the… I should have taken on board the comments on here but I didn't - and I wish i did. Ordered my bedside tables - paid money to them. Called them up as received no notification to be told the items i ordered was going to take 6 weeks !!!! Cancelled order to be told my refund would take up to 14 days.Ordered the exact set from a different company and OMG Next day delivery & one of them had the smallest little mark on it so they refund me £30 and guess what - this refund was actioned the next day in my account - Still waiting for my money back from this company.surely at CHECKOUT it should state if item in stock or not - Do not use this company if you want to RISK getting told your item isnt in stock ! thye need to sort out before they loose more business. just let us know at check out then we wont be as annoyed !!!!

Left a review on here last year in relation to an order me and my partner made to furnish our bedroom, over £4000. Only now has everything been delivered. We have had many downs with the company in relation to broken wardrobes being delivered twice, stain on new mattress. Drivers not wearing boot protectors and getting mud on our new carpet, plus many more issues which in all honesty, have not got the time or patience to write. HD did give us £60 as a good will gesture for the mud on the carpet and in relation to the broken wardrobes they did exchange to the larger wardrobe at no extra cost however there were issues in relation to this. So in that respect they have been good. However the first time the larger wardrobe was delivered there was a mark on the wardrobe and the second time it was delivered the detailing on the wardrobe was broken and then on another occasion, HD only sent one wardrobe instead of two. Issues also included a mirror which we decided we simply did not want due to its size. We phone HD the following day after delivery which HD refusing to take the mirror back as it did not have its original packaging, keeping in mind for us to see the mirror we had to take it out of its original packaging. After contacting trading standards, what HD was telling us was nonsense and they had to accept it back which the reluctantly did. However what I am upset about more than anything (not including the 10+ days I’ve taken off work for these deliveries and lost days of work, only for the item to be faulty or damaged) - is that we had a dressing table delivered and what I didn’t realise is where the mirror sits on the dressing table, there is no hook to secure the mirror to the dressing table. I contacted HD as the mirror bumped into the wall and because it is not secure, the glass has broken. Asked if they could help, keeping in mind how much money we have lost - only to be bluntly told they can’t help. Asked if we could order the mirror to which they said they don’t sell separately. So I’m now stuck with a broken mirror. Overall, whilst HD have been good in a couple of aspects, it really has not been good enough. I would not buy from them again. Also a sore point, you can’t store any items on the chest of drawers or dressing table as it marks the wood (or whatever it is). So now we are trying to buy doilies to try and protect the tops of the furniture from further marks. Very bad experience and not a company I would recommend.

Wow. Unbelievable. The crapest customer service i have ever experienced! Absolutely disgusting how i was spoken to by customer service staff!! Stupid northerner couldn't even speak sense just lying and lying to me and then cuts me off! Have zero confidence in this company that they are even ever gonna deliver my order now!! I placed my order 2 months ago! already had to wait 2 months for it to be delivered...wasn't delivered so chased them up on the phone to see what was happening only to be told that the item i had ordered was out of stock!! Why had it not been ordered?? Then i was told it would be another month until it came back into stock!! Disgusting and totally appaling service! So rude...then i was asked if i would like to select an alternative product!! Why would i do that? I just want my original product that i ordered! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! FEELS LIKE A SCAM! THEY SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES!! *AVOID!*

Disgusting and horrible company and costumer service. Late delivery and item was damaged, took 2 weeks come to collect and now more than 5 weeks waiting for refund. Take my advice do not bother buy any thing form this company .

I have ordered ‘in stock’ 2 mirrored chest of drawers on 27/01 I was informed they would be delivered the following week. I had to chase and was told they would be in stock 29/02 heard nothing again and have had to chase to be told they will arrive 16/03 and have now been told it will be mid next week and not 16/03. I paid almost £500 on 27/01 and no items as yet. The customer service is appalling I have had to chase the whereabouts of my delivery. I am apprehensive if I will ever receive my items and will look to open a dispute with PayPal. I could have ordered these items from other reputable companies and had ‘next day delivery’
