I placed an order and have had no email info to say if it’s gone through. When I try to email I am asked all sorts of questions that do not relate to what I am asking about!!!

I will never buy anything from House of Fraser again. I bought 2 tops, identical except for colour, wore each once then washed them together in a 30 degree wash. One shrank by 4 centimetres, so I sent it back for a refund. House of Fraser returned it to me, saying that they could find no manufacturing fault and I was therefore not entitled to my money back. So I raised a complaint and included a photograph of the two items side-by-side as evidence. But they refused to budge, and subjected me to the 'broken record' technique. So I escalated it. The response from Jan (part of the management team) said "A product shrinking within the wash is not classed as a manufacturing fault.". So there you have it - House of Fraser does not believe that the Consumer Rights Act applies to them. I'll give the top to Oxfam.

The worse customer service ever. Unfriendly and rude staff that seem very unbothered to even do their job. Kiki especially and Adrian at the Westfield branch are terrible to say the least.

Ordered 2 items for next day delivery. I got a message saying one of the item is unavailable and I will need to place another order and pay another next day delivery charge. The assistant was so unhelpful. I was willing to order another item which costs over £100 to replace the unavailable item but they refused.

Today 8th November. Lady on Sislea skin care. Very helpful. Professional, patient. Hope we continue to keep our House of Fraser in Leamington. Hope everyone supports the store by shopping locally. Also lady on paying point nearest to Jack Wills. Really friendly and helpful. Thanks

I ordered 2 items on houseoffraser October 11th . The order number is HOF40000067989845. Due to houseoffraser mistake. The order was returned to houseoffraser warehouse inexplicably.No customer service contacted me what happen. I contact them every time every time. 21 days have passed, 21 days have passed. Houseoffraser website promised a 7-day refund. No news. No customer service contacted me . Can you tell me the reason? When will I get a refund? A very bad shopping experience.

Very disappointed. Bought north face joggers from them. First of all jogging from this big brand but quality zero as inner fluff coming out everywhere. Then decided to wash them as maybe fluff stop coming out. After washing find out small hole on the back and decided return as is faulty item. After one hour talking they didn’t take them back anyway. If u wanna return back any item even washed didn’t take out any labels and stickers. Just walk with them like a cloun just in case if u will decided return item back to house of fraser

I ordered a t shirt/short set online and only the t shirt came. They told me the shorts had been posted and i must have received them. I'm so disappointed as i always use these guys. unfortunately i won't be using these again out of principle.

This is the worst online experience ever. I ordered some trousers in size 6, they shipped size 12, they told me to ship it back at their expenses, and they would ship me the correct size. Not only I had to pay more than Euro 18 to ship back (never refunded), but they have received my trousers 2 weeks ago and they don’t have any intention to give me the ones I paid for. They don’t reply to my mails. Very frustrating. I’m going to open a dispute with paypal.

Birmingham House of Fraser a must stop shop. I don’t understand why it’s not busier. Great service. Super brands. Plus I can see the clothes up close. No online shopping that will be returned a dozen times.

I have been a customer with House of Fraser for over 40 years, and expect a certain level of competent service, I rang the store in Middlesbrough mainly with a query, I rang 11 times , no answer, waited 59 minutes, eventually when I did get through the required department again no answer 25 minutes wait, I gave op, I tried later and the person took my phone details to call me back, no phone call, at last with half a day passed and so much time wasted I got what I had originally asked for! Also I had ordered products on line but need to return for exchange (trainers) but discovered I have to pay 6.5£ to return the trainers, most other companies of this calibre have FREE returns one being John Lewis , Once I have sorted this out which is going to negate any profit I made by having a “ sale” item I will not be frequenting any House of Fraser store or purchasing on line, Very poor service , thank good we now have so many other choices but I did wish to continue shopping with House of Fraser , but not now sadly.

Ordered 2 sweatshirts totalling £88 and never received them, Hermes app saying Delivered but never were. Theft. Can’t get HOF to answer phone just rings out forever, web live chat isn’t live at all, nor can I get a real person at Hermes. Do NOT order anything from HOF.

Ordered 3 pairs of sandals and was informed the next day that only 1 was being sent as the other 2 were out of stock. Had I known that there was only one available I would not have bought it as had to pay postage as well! Now I still have to order some sandals and will have to pay additional 5£ delivery charge as well. After highlighting this with the customer service they have given a 10% discount voucher but didn’t-refund the delivery charges, refused. This which means that I can only get some benefit if I reorder from them which is highly unlikely that I will. I’m very disappointed that they have refused to refund the delivery charge which although is a small amount, is wrong in principle

Ordered a handbag received a completely differentone. After a 33 minute online chat the operator finaly agreed reluctantly to arrange a collection, The wrong bag was returned via DPD to them brand new , strap still inside not even attached to the bag , tags stillon - Now accused of it being used, therefore rejested and woll not refund ne despite it being a totally different bag ! most certainly not use the strap has never been added to the bag and the stuffing still inside and tags still on it and returned in 24 hours yet they refuse to refund me , On chat again tonight and still no refund so a manager seriously needs to look at how complaints and false accusations are being handled. After decaded of shopping with this company I am quite frankly disgusted not just for the lack of care empathy or wanting to help me but the fact I had the wrong item ( incidentally higher value ) and returned brand new t6agged and packed inside accused of using it.

Shocking service . Ordered an it's for £207 paid for next day delivery . Over 2 weeks on still nothing customer service assures me I will have an outcome of the investigation within 3-5 days well 2 lots of 3-5 days have passed so I done web chat yesterday to be told basically to stop contacting then the investigation is underway spoke to a sian who could not be anymore rude and cut of the chat whilst I was typing . Will never oder from here again and thinking of taking further action

I ordered 9 items at the end of July. 3 items arrived with a delivery note for the missing 6 items. I took the item to a store and explained the delivery note problem. They couldn't help and gave me the customer services details. I contacted them, sent photos of my evidence and was told they'd look into it. I left it a while as I didn't want to pester HOF in this current climate. I was also I'll during this time. When I did get back to them, I was given contradicting information about the time scale I had to complain. During the webchat, I was told my claim had been rejected and no one would help me further. I asked for phone numbers, management email but nothing worked. I have now used resolver to try and help me. All the emails I have sent have not had a satisfactory answer. I am waiting to take it to the next stage. HOF have given false information to me and have been rude and uninterested in my problem ( which they created by sending the wrong delivery note and not sending 6 of my items) They have my money for all 9 items and I can't even get money back for 1 of the items I did receive!!

I ordered four mugs and paid extra for next day delivery. All seemed to be going well until House of Fraser’s delivery company said can not deliver goods, contact House of Fraser. But How? Their phone number customer services never answers and I have sent a complaint via email but heard nothing back after nearly a month!

I used the House of Fraser website to order a jacket. My partner measured my chest & using the size guide on the H.O.F. website I ordered a 46 inch chest jacket. The jacket arrived 2 days earlier than expected which I was obviously pleased about until I opened the parcel. The jacket I had been sent was the same size as my 11 year old Grandson’s school blazer. I had ordered this from the Men’s section using the website’s size guide and was sent a child’s coat. I attempted to speak to H.O.F. using a live chat but was cut off before I finished explaining the issue because I couldn’t type fast enough so I sent an email asking for a phone number so I could ring to speak to someone but was told customers cannot ring them so I asked if someone could ring me but again they did not value my custom enough to pick up a phone and ring me. I was told I would have to return this item at my own cost using Royal Mail and was told this was stated in the terms & conditions on the website. I told them you can’t believe everything you read on the website because although I’d shopped in the Men’s section using the website’s size guide I had been sent a child’s jacket so not everything on there is correct. I have returned the jacket at my expense and this will be the last interaction I have with this company that will not even speak to its customers and whose incompetence will end up hitting those customers in the pocket. I honestly do not dislike anyone enough to recommend House of Fraser to them.
