DPD failed to deliver on the correct day, apart from that hassle free.

As the owner of 3 hp products ( Desktop computer, Chromebook and printer ) I expected I would be in good hands. How wrong I was! Searched in vain online for what I wanted ( A replacement for the USB that controls the keyboard and mouse on my desktop ). Probably too small an item for them to be bothered about. I l also tried contacting them by phone and after being redirected a number of times was finally told they couldn't help me. So as my 3 items will be replaced in the future I will staying well clear of HP.

I have sworn never to purchase another HP product and I want everyone to know why so they can avoid the same kind of problems I have had with HP. Recently, a Microsoft update crashed my system. After spending hours and hours online with Microsoft – who provided excellent support, by the way – they suggested that the only way to resolve my problem was to reinstall my operating system. The only problem was that the only way I had to do that was to copy the installation files to a USB drive and boot from that. I went into the BIOS settings on my HP computer only to discover that HP has made the setting so confusing that I couldn’t figure out how to change to boot order so the computer would boot from the USB drive instead of the hard drive. It should have been a simple thing to do, but it wasn’t. I called HP for support only that have them tell me that telling me how to change the boot order was outside of the scope of the warranty. They refused to tell me. Instead, they gave me a paid support number to call. Needless to say, I was not pleased. I finally figured out how to do it on my own, no thanks to HP support. But that was not all, after reinstalling the operating system, the camera wasn’t working. After trying all the tricks I know, I again called HP support only to have them tell me that the problem was because I installed the operating system from a retail disk instead of the HP disks for my computer. They told me that in order to resolve the driver issue I would have to purchase the HP installation disks for $60. Say what? What kind of support is that? Again I refused to give in to HP. I contacted Microsoft again and their technicians were able to find a driver that worked, without having to again reinstall my operating system or having to purchase HP’s disks. Now that’s what I call good support. I, personally, will NEVER again purchase another HP product due to their extremely poor customer support and I would urge any of you who are considering purchasing one of their products to reconsider. If you run into problems, you are either on your own or they will refer you to paid support.

Never ever purchase anything from HP store. they would not allow me to return my new unopened HP OMEN laptop that i tried to cancel before they dispatched. they forced me to accept it, and that is what i did. there website sends you round in circles and there contact number is not real false. anyway after deciding to keep this laptop, as i had no choice i have been waiting for the promotional Intel starter pack offer code to be sent to me. i got speak to person from HP not sure what department they told me that they cannot be reached there, and the sales department and telephone number was incorrect. HP own People could't get through!. i have received several emails telling me the code for Intel starter pack has been sent. .Rubbish Rubbish Rubbish. I will never ever purchase HP products of any sort again full stop. Have sold my laptop for a loss but feel much better that i have.

As the lord is my witness I have never come across such poor customer service. My brand new printer Envy 5541 went wrong after only the second use. Getting assistance was near impossible when I finally got through to someone I was told it was a hardware problem, take it back to the shop and exchange it for a RECONDITIONED one!!! Yes..... that isn't a typo. Never will I part with my money for any HP product again.

By far, THE WORST customer service I've ever experienced. I was on the phone for over 2 hours to resolve an issue with my recently purchased monitor and they kept transferring me to the wrong department...so they say. I asked for the direct line and they kept giving me different numbers. When asking to speak to the head of corporate, they ignored my issue and talked over me saying "Okay, apologies we couldn't help, have a good day," and hung up. NEVER BUY THESE PRODUCTS. They often have hardware issues and no one is able to help you.

Purchased a HP Pavilion Notebook 15-AB240 direct from HP Store UK in January 2016. Cannot fault the lap top itself as it is an excellent piece of equipment for the price (£399.00). My gripe is with HP Customer Services set-up. The lap top took 27 days to arrive after ordering. The HP Customer Services team work out of a call centre - everything has to be done by e-mail. They will not get involved in trying to resolve anything by phone - the standard response is "please send an e-mail & we will look at it". After a few weeks of this I asked to speak with a manager. Standard reply - "our managers are not customer facing so you cannot speak with them". During the course of the delay I dealt with 5+ different customer services staff - they use a generic e-mail address & any of them can reply. Learnt a number of lessons from this transaction. Main one do not purchase anything direct from HP - buy via a 3rd party such as PC World or Currys. The other is always pay by credit card - I made the fatal mistake of paying by bank transfer thinking it would be quicker as I desperately needed the product. HP are not on top of their banking - again their bank is "not customer facing". HOPK123 CARDIFF UK

Realistically, 1 star is waaaaaaaay to generous for this company! I never write reviews, but HP hands down have the worse ever customer service I have ever experienced in my life to date. With that being said, I thought it was mandatory to make an electronic public service announcement across the world wide web to make other potential buyers aware of the utterly abysmal levels of customer care. Before I continue, don't bother buy ANYTHING from this company if, even on a basic level, just being treated like a human being is of any remote importance to you. I bought a HP Envy 4500 Printer, specifically for when some family was visiting from abroad so we could print tickets, passes etc. Straight out of the box, the printer did not work for no apparent reason. I subsequently contacted customer service who initially did some basic troubleshooting tests over the phone...all of which were epic fails. In a nutshell, they suggested I return the item for a full refund and arranged a collection for the following day via the Courier DPD, which I agreed to and even took time off work to ensure there would be someone at home. Did anyone turn up though!?? So naturally I contacted HP and they claimed that the Courier had come to property, which they did not! To cut a long, tedious and very draining story short...i was having to contact HP for over 2 weeks straight to try and get the printer collected as noone was turning up each time a collection had been arranged. Each time their were ridiculous claims of people bearing names I had never heard of saying there was nothing to collect! Really!???? In the end, I just decided to liaise with DPD directly because HP could not be bothered to rectify the matter. DPD who were more helpful suggested I call just before my allocated time slot to ensure they could locate the whereabouts of the driver before my collection was due. The printer was collected after the 7th arranged allocated time slot, which is appalling. HP then had the audacity to contact me via email to ask me if I could find out when the return would be sent back to them and asked me for the consignment number, instead of contacting DPD themselves...like I had to when they could not be bothered to rectify my issue. I have contacted them several times to inquire about a refund and I have been completely ignored. As it stands, the actual purpose of my purchase is now invalid, I don't have a printer, I haven't had a refund and there is not talk of compensation for the inconvenience caused. Overall, the WORST company I have ever given my hard earned cash to in exchange for a product or service! Both the product and the service were absolutely absurd!

I have just bought a printer and laptop, both from John Lewis and both on different days, tried to claim the cash back have been told for reasons which I don't accept that I cant claim either! the first because it was bought at the wrong time, although it had the cash back advert on it, the second as it was outside the claim window. This is a total scam and I will not buy HP again.

HP is a company that does not value its customers. It offers cash back deals for devices purchased which are nothing more than a scam. After trying to claim you realise that the so called Terms and Conditions are made to make it very difficult to actually claim the money back using any excuse to refuse to pay. If you cannot afford to run a cash back scheme then don't offer one. As a long time HP customer I will NEVER be buying another HP product again nor recommending HP products to my friends and family nor purchasing anymore HP servers, desktops, printers or switches. You can pat yourselves on the back for losing a long term customer and tens of thousands of pounds in sales. Well done good work, no wonder HP is in the mess its in.
