I was a frequent customer until now! Absolutely rubbish service. Many times I’ve received cold food, which you get only half price refund, as if you would want to eat it cold. And today they topped it off by forgetting an item, when I called they didn’t want to redeliver nor did they try to fix the inconvenience caused. So no more Deliveroo!!

First time ordering in the app , my food came after 1/30 hours and it was damaged and items missing . After speaking with customers service I was advised to wait 48hours after 48 hours has passed no email no nothing , then when I phone then back they said no refund or further assistance imagine paying for something you haven't ordered or half of the food is damage and the other half missing , when spoken to the management team they was utterly ridiculous , rude and disrespectful the company literally went against the rules and regulations disgusting service... Might aswell delete those kind of apps

Shocking service, or lack of, from Deliveroo. Ordered at 6:20pm, scheduled delivery at 6:50pm. Time was moved again and again until it said 7:55pm. At 8:05pm I received a call from someone who didn't speak English. He mumbled something into the phone then hung up. Seconds later Deliveroo app said my food had been delivered, not to my house! If Deliveroo can't even train their drivers to ring a doorbell or read a map then they aren't worth using. Won't be going there again.

The first time my order took 1 hour 30 minutes to arrive after being told it would 45 minutes. Today after waiting 1 hour 10 minutes for a 45 minutes order it was cancelled. My son is at home unwell and is unable to move about easily to stand for more than a few minutes. the food was ordered for his dinner so he could take his medication. Appalling.

I don't understand how the drivers work as they tend to not bring the order to you after waiting 1 hour. Of course the customer service blamed on corona virus but I don't see the connection. The food was not even left in front of the building. Don't use it as drivers deliver the food to any address without calling or checking so I had to wait another hour for another order and the customer service said that is not guaranteed again if the food will be handed to me.

Order never showed up despite the website stating it was delivered and that the driver had tried to contact me (I had no missed calls or messages). When I tried to flag this the site repeatedly stated its delivery help was not working and when I finally got an agent all they offered were apologies and insisted that the food must have been left somewhere. The guy in my apartment reception said no one had come. Won't be using the service again.

We ordered food and alcohol it came, it didn’t state anywhere that you need to show ID when you collect your food from the driver. Driver showed up, we didn’t have ID, told him to wait 2 mins while I get it. What did he do?? DRIVE OFF WITH MY FOOD IN HIS CAR AND NO REFUND!!!! 🤬🤬🤬🤬😡😡😡😡DO NOT USE THESE THIEVES!!!!!

The rating should include 0 star. I would like to give a 0 or negative rating. Yesterday, 21 Sep 2021 was one of important chinese festival, Mid-autumn Festival. This year I came to Bristol and hence could not had festival with my family. As still staying in hotel, I decided to order food from Deliveroo to have a great festival time. As usual (I've order food through Deliveroo several times) I place the order and wait. It's really a great festival that the chinese restaurant needed double time to prepare. I received a call from the rider that he's on the way. I told him that I had already stand outside the hotel. 20 minutes past still no show. Back to the room I found from my Mac book that the status was "Delivered. As nobody answer, put the food in front of the room" What? After a few steps, I got the cs phone no. No doubt, the rider went to a wrong place. Of course I called. What they could do was to refund the money. They even didn't think what to do so that I could have things to eat. What I needed at that time not money refund but food to have my festival. If they could order the things for me again and delivered to me in 30 minutes. Everything would change. I had food to celebrate the festival, no need to refund money. I would not be so angry. But they did nothing. Only apologise (must) and refund. In the survey they sent to me afterwards (as I called the cs), I honestly said that the CS could not help. Money can be refunded but Festival cannot be returned.

The service wasn’t provided. The delivery wasn’t made (not even attempted). Now they will not issue me a refund.

I was thoroughly disappointed in deliveroo tonight. Not only did the food never turn up, I also spent HOURS sorting out a refund, and they didn't even consider to offer me a voucher despite it being their fault. What a lousy service. I will NOT be recommending this to my friends and colleagues.

Deliveroo can be useful to use but there have been so many issues where there just haven’t been enough drivers and my food has been massively delayed. I’ve been waiting over an hour for food and the app is telling me my food isn’t ready. I’ve called the restaurant and they’ve said the food *is* ready but there’s no one to collect it. So now I’m to pay for food that’s an hour late and is soggy and not fresh to eat? No thanks.

I gave 1 star because is not possible rate zero. ***********************be careful********************* There are enough negative comments already about how is awful the deliveroo service and how many of their riders are scammers. What many people ignore is how dangerous is being their customer. One morning I woke up and I found out that overnight my Deliveroo profile had been hacked. Someone changed the address and the phone number and just had a meal with my money. So, I got the bank account charged for £73 and guess what? I wrote hundreds of emails to Deliveroo Customer Support and they just did not reply at all to all my claims and complaints. Yes, You understood correctly. They don't give a ..... to their customers and you lose your money.

I’ve used many food delivery apps throughout the world. It’s not so uncommon to run into delivery communication problems but I’m absolutely appalled by the horrible service of the driver and then the follow up by “customer service” was even worse. I left a number in the delivery instructions, driver never called. I contacted the number that customer service provided, it was out of order. I contacted customer support through chat. The driver was still at the house but customer service couldn’t get ahold of him. In fact they couldn’t get ahold of him for the 40 minutes we were chatting. However I was expected to get in touch with him in the 4 min window he was at the door. And as the customer service even admitted, he was supposed to leave the food at the door. And of course didn’t, but marked the food “delivered”. No refund, no credits given, no food. With so many other options in London, DO NOT USE DELIVEROO!

Food was Luke warm when arrived. Deliveroo put in wrong address and I complained via phone to customer service, first man was abrupt and hung up, woman was OK but they do not understand the problem. Customer service is appauling. Poor driver said that deliveroo don't care. I would Avoid if I was u. Not recommended

I was told by the restaurant on the phone that my order was cancelled. I placed a different order at a different restaurant. The customer service on the chat told me payment would be void, however, payment was taken and now Deliveroo refuses to return my money, even though I have a screenshot of them telling me that my payment was void. They don't care about stealing your money. Horrible service.

Half my order was missing. Called the restaurant immediately who promised a refund. A bit sour solution, but ok. No refund came. Deliveroo refusing to refund me hiding behind a 48 hr limit on complaints. Basically stolen my money.

I ordered from my local Schnitz store, who are usually on their game, however today had a lapse in judgement. I asked for the product to be in wrap form, however when the delivery arrived it was indeed a burger instead. Asking for help on the order was as simple as tapping a button, explained the situation, to which they offered a credit, refund or redelivery! I was in shock, that's amazing, I had the right order re-delivered to me in 30 mins or less. Loyal customer here.

Fraudsters. Three orders and all three missing a lot of food that Deliveroo refused to refund. Deliveroo needs investigating thoroughly.
