Riders omg.. They refuse to come upstairs (i am living in apartments block) to deliver the order to the door because 'they have a bike', it happened twice last night even though before a second attempt i contacted their customer support where i explained that due to illness i cant come downstairs to collect. Two delivery attempts, two different delivery mans, two refusals to deliver it to the door. Latter one left it outside the gate and food has been directly stolen. Horrible, delivery guys do decide where your order gonna be delivered, so I guess even person a wheelchair would of been forced to go downstairs from a 7th floor just because prince's 'are by a bike'. Even though enjoyed food before, been regular customer, this is it. Drivers attitude are ABSOLUTE SHAMBLES, like not you pay for your order and to be delivered but other way round. I don't recommend at all. During second conversation with customer support i have been offered only a deliveroo credit by them as they said they cant refund me my money as the order has been delivered. Only after further argument from me they had processed the refund. Won't order anything anymore.

Very rude drivers. You should be careful at who you hiring, I saw one of you driver almost hitting someone else in the street.

In over 35 years in business this company’s customer service is by far the very worst. I’ve had the misfortune of dealing with 12 agents with many asking the same generic questions that I’d already answered in full. A case of ‘the blind leading the blind’. This company took money from my card that was never authorised by myself and they’ve decided to stick two fingers up at me. I will never use this amateur company again. It seems that the calibre of staff they employ are of very low intelligence.

Terrible terrible. Got rude service when I contacted support about many issues with an order. NEVER USE THIS SITE! Use Just eat or Uber eats instead... trust me

Made small order from Morrisons! Over two hours to arrive…ok things happen! On looking at receipt two things were crossed out the total of which was £10 .19 which I expected as refund waited a couple of days thinking it’ would be refunded automatically back to my bank/. But no refund did live chat with deliveroo explaining! Was told as it over 48 hour since the order no refund or credit would be issued:( say what!!! Isn’t that stealing??? Will never use these thieving@%#/;:,”**& again…

App is completely unreliable - declines payments for no reason or just says 'something went wrong'. This was pretty frustrating, but then I realised that I'm better off not wasting £30 on a freezing cold burger, soggy chips and half-spilt milkshake. Or finding out my order has disappeared.

Rite so I placed a order for a meat parcel 20pound worth of meat I was waiting over one hour half they tell me driver turned up nobhe did not I recieve nothing at all if he turn up y not ring or knock door bell avoid this company after email them five tines sent them screen shot money went from my account they tell me I would get full 20 pound refund then they tell me it never money left my account please be aware of this company bad service and take your money for something never turned up I would not be using them again also I do not not recommend them at all

Driver refused to actually deliver to my door and sat in his car. Was nowhere to be found when I went out. Then decided to say he’d delivered the food already when he hadn’t. Promised a refund by the useless chat in 5-10 working days. So I’ll likely not get my money back for two weeks. Avoid entirely. Not worth the aggro when you’re hungry.

Didn’t receive the order, didn’t get a phone call, customer service operator insisted that we had been called twice (even though i explained that I had the phone in my hand and had not received any calls from anyone) and he explained that’s why my order was reported as delivered even though it absolutely wasn’t..it makes no sense, I’ll wait and see if I get a refund…

Awful experience my food arrived cold and inedible also with items missing!!! I contacted customer services I was not offered a refund for the missing items or for the whole meal that had to be thrown away. They just said I hope that we can do better next time! No thanks, your customer service is appalling!! Also, the bag was not sealed so items are either missing as the driver fancied a munch or the restaurant never put them in there. Either way, it is literally theft charging someone for something that they did not receive!

Everything. We placed a large order and most of the items were missing. The three (3) items that were still in our order was left by the Deliveroo driver OUTSIDE of the building our flat is located in and as a result our order was STOLEN. The DRIVER failed doing his job. He should be sacked straightaway. We will NEVER order from Deliveroo again. Deliveroo is a FAILURE as well.

The concept is great the product is ****. They delete your account and all it’s settings out of nowhere which has happened twice to me. What really makes them useless is their inability to actually fill your orders. I waste at least 2 hours a week on waiting for orders that never actually get accepted or delivered. If you are a good delivery app, customers shouldn’t spend a couple hours a week not getting food they ordered and then telling them that their time, level of hunger, and overwhelming inconvenience that they keep on causing is worth a $5 voucher (which they give about 5% of the time this happens). Minimum wage is more than $5 but yet several hours of my time because your app is **** is worth $5? Too much competition out there, user beware. 50/50 whether the food you ordered will actually show up, and after it doesn’t show up they assure you they aren’t going to charge you for food they can’t deliver 🤣. Joke of an app and business, who should fire the entire customer support team robots as well. I do not think they actually hire many people for customer support but rely on AI to keep on giving you the same pre-canned messages over and over again. It’s literally the most infuriating thing someone can deal with when they are having a problem with their order. Seriously do not waste your time with them.

Disgrace of a Compnay - driver messed up the order - kids were in tears when their food didn’t arrive! Took over an hour to sort out and they still didn’t refund the full order - AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

Took over the amount owed, then did it again to rebalance the original amount for some reason. £19 turned into £50. Customer service is a joke, basically just stole from me and didn't give me my money back. Worst thing was this was the weekend before payday, got some groceries as I was working late from home then they cleared my bank account for the weekend, didn't have any money for food on Sunday, total waste of space! AVOID!
