“Wife Just had Txd from Ideal world to thank her for order Of £129.99 and payment received. We have never ordered anything from Ideal World for over 10 years And they state they will deliver to an address that we do not live in Tried everything to stop payment All they say is they have cancelled the order Have informed all my Banks and credit card companies they tell me I can only gain a refund after money taken from the accounts This looks like an internal scam staff ordering on old accounts??? How can a Company just make up an order and by the way you can’t call for free 13 p per minute plus your standard rate asked them to call back Still waiting 6hrs later This is a joke trading standards now being informed Grrr !!!!”

“I agree with all the previous bad reviews. I will never again buy from Ideal world. I am still waiting to get my refund after returning an item 3 weeks ago. I’ve sent many emails to query the refund payment, and keep receiving replies from all different staff who are not within UK. The worst customer service in shopping refunds I’ve experienced. even after submitting a proof of my payment and reference for the return delivery, they say they can’t find the item. Appalling shopping experience. I wouldn’t recommend them and would say to try to avoid if you can.”

“Really annoyed with this company, customer service department is a joke. I recently placed an order for two palms plus planters and realised immediately I had not updated my address. Within minutes of placing the order I did a live chat and was reassured that the goods would be sent to the correct address, I then followed this up with several emails explaining the issue. Customer service advised I collect the goods from the old address. I explained this was in South Yorkshire and I now live in Hereford so impossible. Twenty five pounds down and fuming!! DO NOT SHOP WITH THIS COMPANY!!”

“I bought a watch from Ideal World broke within a week of wearing it sent it back still waiting for my refund and and they've also took the second payments out absolute rip-off do not buy from ideal World so today I will be getting on to trading standards and consumer of goods these people should be shut down straight away”

“IDEAL WORLD just provide Fake information and do not send the good you pay for. They use the Bad service delivery service of HERMES to try and confuse customers. I order a Drone with a carrying case with 2 extra batterys. The case and battery were delivered but no Drone. After 2 weeks of e-mails and robot replys with no useful information, they now claim the Drone is been returned by Hermes and will take 10 day to be back in the warehouse. Yet they are selling the same Drone on TV today £99.99. Just do not deal with this company as they will not provide the goods as stated in the tv sales. IN my case the tracking number did not exist on HERMES TRACKING and no delivery email or confirmation they ever had it. I may have to go to the county court to get my money back. What good is £20 Battery and case with no Drone to use on. It looks like a scam to get your money and then just mess you around or force you to phone a premium rate number to speak to someone who just talks rubbish and provide more faulse information. STAY CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY”

“I bought "Blue Magic" & what a letdown. There is nothing magic about it, absolutely rubbish, I tried 3 different items with only a small amount of stain on them. First I used the weakest strength, then 2nd the medium, 3rd the strongest & not one application made even the slightest difference. Ideal World has had its 1st & last order from me”

“I ordered a mattress from Ideal World. In June I got an email from the courier service they use to say it would be delivered on a certain date. I waited in took time off work change my shift around the new mattress came. I emailed Ideal World and informed him of this stuff. I said I wanted to cancel it and I’ve forgotten sexy Lexi Pay I will be cancelling the monthly payments until it was finished. They emailed me back telling me not to take this is the mattress couple of days later the Courier turned up at the mattress and I told him I wasn’t accepting it and he took it away.Ideal World emailed me to say that was on the way back to the department. Couple of days lease of the same quality as up at the mattress. I decided to take the seat of the mattress and informed Ideal World. I had to stop payments as I intended for the matters to go back. I tried to set up the repayment plan and but the bank said they it will take a week. I informed Ideal World of the situation all along the way emailing them constantly.. When you phone up to no 87 number I’ve spent nearly £10 trying to resolve the matter. They have now charged me £15 admin fee and £3.80. I tried to phone up to pay the mattress twice on the same day and it was totally refused. Ideal World did say that some of the ring me back in 24 hours which they did. But I didn’t have the card to pay the payments. This appears to be phoning me back today I’m still awaiting their call so I can fit pay the balance. For them to charge me an admin fee when I have clearly tried to pay the outstanding balance choice is unacceptable. I would never buy from this company again. When I looklook at the other Reviews which I will do in future when I’m going to buy anything I wouldn’t have bought the mattress from Ideal World . Advice to anybody in future look on the reviews before you buy because I certainly will do take care .”

“I purchased a watch that did not work, it took days to sort out, the call centre is in India and they don't seem to know what they are doing, I am awaiting a refund and today see that it has cost me £10.71 in call charges for the privilege of calling them for a refund.”

“Absolutely the worst experience of on line shopping in my life - communication is deplorable staff just don’t care as this is clearly a daily slog - Either sort out your customer service or cease trading Buy elsewhere - even pay more as this company will just drive you mad as you go round in circles Word fail me as to the ineptitude of this organisation 86% of the reviews are negative - YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED ! .”

“This is my second complaint they have fraudulently for the second time withrawn money from my account i will be further complaining to my banks fraud team also i think its time to apply to have there license to be revoked ill discuss this with my bank fraudsters stay well away from ideal world liars and thieves”

“Order these Gerbera’s from garden bargain which was selling them on your website , they arrived but 2 weeks later they are all dying not happy will not be ordering again as it cost to much money if you loose the plants”

“I will never shop with you again on the 29 of April I bought a beldray cleaner a part was missing I phone your office was close because of covin 1 email your head office no answer found your online site spoke to man called ped who said he get them to sent part-heard no more as I pay with Paypal open case wait 4 weeks we'll hear nothing. today told can have my money back only if a sent it back buy July 1 and pay for it my self I still in lockdown so can go not out trying to get picked up but as I have no printer will not work really upset about this still not got money back”

“Avoid at all cost. Mum ordered plants sent via postal service. Insufficient packaging to protect plants so damaged on arrival. Ideal World want a JPEG picture of them. You know what they can do with their JPEG picture. Happy to rip off a 76 year old pensioner in these current times.”

“I have jus received my Swan & Edgar Gents Lancaster Ltd Ed Automatic Watch, brought from ideal world, much to my regret, the strap was broken, the lug pin bent, suspect I have a second hand one, I have to say it is very, very badly made, the bezel does not align to the top of the hour, nether does the hour hand at the top of the hour, bad form, this was to be a present to a daughter of a Lancaster pilot during WW2, I really would not insult her that way, sorry but so disappointed. In frustration I destroyed it, I don’t want a refund or anything else, just wanted you to know. I have retrieved the carcase out of the bin, serial No SE10072633, for your information. When the bezel does not align to the top of the hour when turned, it is ether to the left or right of the 12, and when the minute hand is on 12, the hour hand is in-between 11-12, that is jus bad workmanship, things like that show a lot about quality and care, as for my frustration that is my fault it is destroyed.”

“I purchased a cordless vacuum cleaner last year for £129.99 which came with 20 FREE microfibre cloths worth £20. Unfortunately, after about 11 months the suction on the vacuum cleaner began to reduce significantly so I have had to return it. The company have only refunded me £112.65 and will not refund the amount I originally paid. Ideal World TV says that the £17.34 is for the FREE microfibre cloths and I would need to return these as well for a full refund (as if I still have these after that length of time?). If these were advertised as free, how can I be charged for these? I have complained several times now and am just sick and tired of the long-winded correspondence with them so will have to write this amount off. Just beware that if you have to return a faulty product which came with a "free" gift you will only get a part refund. Obviously "free" is not free at Ideal World TV.”

“I placed two orders may 7th and May 10th and can honestly say it’s been a total nightmare and today 6th June Iv just received one order ( after almost 15,emails chasing it) and still waiting for the other despite as many emails chasing it up.The customer service is nothing but poor throughout and so bad I would never buy anything else from idealworld tv as if it ever arrived and you have a problem you may as well throw it in the bin as their customer care centre will not give you any confidence in getting it sorted. Buy elsewhere you will not regret it.”
