“I looked up local sofa frame online. Beware, nowhere did it say that you have to drive to an additional location on a trading estate to pickup. A nice lady supported on entry to the main store. We lost Coventry which was all under one roof. The system is not customer friendly. I therefore coulgo back to have lunch in the cafe as planned as roads now gridlocked and returned home, one hours drive. Get your act together ikea. You must be making enough profit for this.”
“I have returned an item a month ago, but haven't not received the refund. They are not cooperating for refund.
What a shame very bad customer service.”
“IIKEA delivery and customer service in the UK are a disgrace. They arranged an exchange for a new sofa (delivery and collection) on 9th September. Never happened. Then on 20th September, and again never happened despite your customer service agents promised it will. Even we got a call from Milton Keynes telling us it will happen. It didn't. We got tired, we have cancelled the exchange and asked for a reimbursement.Worst company in the UK in Customer Service in the UK!!”
“Brought back MALM bed stor box si, straight away bleeding me she no refund no repair no swap, keep telling me you drilled big hole where the leg goes I disagree I'm kitchen fitter my self and spent £1000 & £1000 in ikea milton keynes stone! Not any more very bad experience spatially with lady called her self NAOMI”
“What is the point of having a customer service team that are unable to help with your query. Paid a lot of money to buy a kitchen and have it fitted only to come up against unhelpful customer service and still waiting for an email to be answered after over a week, absolutely disgusting and you can only send an email not able to speak to the person who is dealing with it, but cannot guarantee an answer, but you made us pay up front and did not hesitate to take the money, seems you really do not care about your customers. And we still have an unfinished kitchen.”
“The story itself is beautiful but the customer service crew is horrible.
All other branches IKEA in UK they take vouches, Milton Keynes IKEA is not taking. Then we go back with your stuff beside that you bought it the other day, they don’t take it back as return and give your money, beside that Ihad the invoice and the credit card with me , then it happent again to me that I was bringing back as a return a table IKEA and by my sulfide the “lovely customer service stuff” was telling me that the item is not IKEA beside that I showed them on there website that the table is IKEA.
To be fair, the customer service stuff in Milton Keynes needs to be reviewed and trained ASAP cause they bring down the IKEA branch, they were almost telling me that I’m stupid. I’m very disappointed as a customer, I’m leaving my money there and they even treat me like stupid”
“HAd the most helpful young lady on customer returns . Who went out of her way to help with a part for my wardrobe door . She is a credit to IKEA she was on till 5 and Also a shout out to the man who helped her out with advising the door hinge”
“Very poor customer service. Refused to refund me with the combination of credit and cash I had paid for an item with. They said I had to take it all as store credit or just the cash amount. Team leader Zoe particularly unhelpful. I called IKEA as soon as I left the store and they have immediately arranged the credit to be sent to me as they could see the store was clearly in the wrong.”
“My daughter and I received the kind assistance from Harry and Jason who helped two damsels in distress by taking our purchase to our car. Such gallant gentleman. Thanks.”
“Ikea Bistro selling old food
Fries so dry that empty inside, cinnamon rolls very dry too and taste terrible. Staff very slow, disappearing every now and then. Most of the time only one member selling food. Before pandemic everything was fine, now just don’t waste your time and money.”
“Thank you Luke the Store Manager who sent out hot tea and coffee to customers who were queuing very early on a cold Monday morning. Your staff were pleasant and helpful and we all appreciated the gesture. You kept the British spirit going at a time when just simply shopping at this time can feel stressful and difficult. Thank you to you and your team.”
“No social distancing, people pushing past you not waiting, lots of children running around picking things up - wanted to look at kitchens but several families letting children play with cupboards and drawers. restaurant closed even tho said would be open on website. didn't feel safe at all. Won't be going back for a long time.”
“Really well organised store specially the checkouts. Made it all very easy and safe. Just wish the customers would social distance because that was the worse thing but that’s not the stores fault as they have loads of notices and announcements”
“Just ordered a Pax designed online using zoom. The wardrobe designer Lesley P. Went the extra mile locating the doors I wanted that were discontinued. She was so helpful and so determined to help me that I am over the moon and excited to receive my Pax. Is people like Lesley you want to keep, those that truly listen and put customer satisfaction as priority.”
“I visited Ikea Milton Keynes at around midday today 28th June 2019. My daughter had asked me to buy a selection of storage boxes for her. I asked someone for help (didn't catch his name) but he was in the homewares department. He was very helpful and went out of his way to get another trolley for all the boxes and help take me down to the checkout. He waited while I paid and then helped take my purchases to my car. I wished I caught his name as he certainly should be mentioned for such good customer relations.”
“Sales assistants at ikea Milton Keynes for the matress/bedding section are now blunt and argumentative. This is a noticable change since six months ago when we got helpp and ordered a bed through a pleasant young lady from Poland. Of the two staff we sought help from yesterday in the matress / bedding area one was blunt but the other was quite argumentative and would not consider our view on the smaller uk double and king size beds but rather he argued staunchly that the uk double was adequate for two adults and that he was married twenty two years and he was "not a small bloke". We found him, an older local man, to be a put-off. We've shopped quite a bit in ikea over the past five years, bought large items there, beds etc. It's a pity because we've always had pleasant experiences in ikea until now.”
