“We operate a crisis helpline in the middle of a busy, historical, downtown area with a lot of noise due to the lively nature of the area. Things such as live music, loud cars, even karaoke nights across the street. Naturally this makes working a crisis helpline difficult due to the sound levels. Because of the historic nature of our location we were unable to replace our windows with modern windows to block out sound. So we turned to Indow for an alternate solution. We were uncertain if inserts could be made for our uniquely sized windows, but after using the measuring tool sure enough Indow was able to produce them! Communication with our Indow Rep was easy, and it never felt like we were just being pushed to be sold a product. After installation, the noise has been cut DRAMATICALLY! The difference between rooms that have them installed, and those that do not, is very much noticeable. These have been the perfect solution to our problem short of being able to replace these windows completely.”

“The Indow window insert that we purchased for our bedroom is amazing! We would often be woken up in the very early morning hours by vehicles traveling on the busy road behind our house. Now, we rarely hear the traffic at all and actually hear the alarm clock go off! It also helps the room from being less drafty in the winter. The Indow insert is easy to remove and replace for warm days when we want to let in fresh air. Overall, we highly recommend Indow windows!”

“They are working great ! I can’t recall a time where I have been awoken by the trains at night. Before we had the inserts it was happening almost nightly. They were a tad expensive but I do not regret having ordered them for our bedroom.”

“I am extremely happy with the window inserts from Indow. The measuring process was the only stressful part of the process, but the inserts arrived very quickly, in good shape, and they work exactly as promised. I bought the acoustic ones and they do make an obvious difference when it comes to isolating sound from the nearby highway as well as from neighbors AC unit (rather loud during summer time). I strongly recommend the inserts.”

“Found on line. Looking for acoustic windows. Measured windows by hand and with laser kit. They fit well the first time and they really work as expected, reducing noise by about 20 dBa. No complaints and I’ve recommended them to a couple of people.”

“Did not block out sufficient amount of sound. I also hard a hard time putting them in and out when I wanted to open a window. I feel I was mislead in how effective and easy to use they would be. I took them out completely. I regret purchasing them.”

“We purchased an insert to lessen noise coming in from outside on window. We have no objective way of measuring this but it is certain to us that the noise has diminished noticeably. Had the laser measure extension tripod been more stable, the measurement process would have been easier, but this was the *only* minor bump in an otherwise smooth road from our initial contact with Indow to insertion of the Indow in the window frame. All Indow personnel were easy to work with.”

“Sound dampening is good. The insert is more snug than expected and is not easy to take in and out. It has been worth the price for me, but I think it is a little too expensive for the average home owner.”

“The product did what it advertised ( cut down the road noise) and installation was easy. And the panels though they were quite large fit in the openings perfectly.”
