“Indow inserts are great! I needed a solution to block my very rude neighbors' backyard TV/subwoofer noise plus their late-night parties. They built a backyard 'hut' less than 15 feet from my bedroom. The noise was unbearable before I installed Indow inserts on all the windows on that side of my house. After install, I can still hear a little bit of bass - but it's bearable and I can't hear any voices or other annoying late-night "bar noise". The install was fairly easy - measuring the windows took a lot of meticulous attention to detail, but the result was worth the effort. I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for more peace and quiet in their living space.”

“Product and process as expected. we had to modify for our shutters to avoid pulling them off. Not sure yet how that may impact the effectiveness. Sound dampening is good. Need to get thru summer to know how much heat transfer we've seen.”

“The acoustic window inserts significantly reduce noise from outdoors and we are very satisfied. The measurement process was a bit tedious but straightforward and worked well - the inserts fit perfectly. My one criticism is that the windows are far more prone to scratching than glass, and that wasn't clear in the paperwork or installation instructions.”

“These inserts have been life changing. Living by a busy road meant constant noise that would even make watching TV difficult. After installing these all along the windows facing the road, we FINALLY have peace and quiet. Its incredible how much of a difference they have made and how much our quality of life has improved.”

“Every aspect of the process was super easy. Sound was reduced, but other factors beyond the control of the inserts reduced the effectiveness of the sound dampening.”

“My purpose in buying the Indow insert was to cut down on noise. I was assured there would be a noticeable decrease with Indow. There is NO discernable difference. So unfortunately this was clearly a waste of money”

“The window inserts did quiet the room some but they did not eliminate the noise that bothers me the most, the sound of passing traffic.”

“I live in a 1922 bungalow which has three stained glass windows and four piano windows. During our MN winters, all seven were drafty and cold (especially the leading on the stained glass). Last year I had Indows installed on all seven. I am so pleased: no more drafts, no more cold and they blend perfectly with the original dark woodwork around the panes. I had the company do the measuring and installing which spared me much aggravation. Highly recommended.”

“I like them when they are installed—traffic noise is muted and the room is so much quieter. It is also less drafty in the winter. However, the windows are large, and the inserts are quite heavy. There are window boxes outside planted with flowers, and removing the inserts to water ever few days proved to be too difficult. So now they are seasonal, winter only inserts, until I figure out a way to water the window boxes another way.”

“We received & installed the inserts. Today the neighbor behind and 1 house west of us is working outside with music blaring. Using a phone app decibel meter, I had just over 50% noise reduction. The real test will be this weekend. ATT Stadium (where Cowboys play) is having a parking lot concert. In the past we've been able to understand what the announcer was saying. We have an 100+ year old farm house so the windows are drafty but they are also thicker and wavy & I was reluctant to give up the authenticity. We tried another brand of inserts, but in the back room they were failing after a couple years. I found Indow this time around and learned they are the original. There's simply no comparison between the 2 products. Indow are more time consuming to install than what we had, but the quality, appearance and performance is many times superior. From the 1st phone call to receiving the measuring kit, returning it, submitting the measurements & getting them reviewed/approved, manufacture, shipping & receipt took just under 3 weeks.”

“We have a large sunroom with many windows and the inserts look amazing (you can barely see them) and they help so much with temperature. This was the main reason we needed them. The original windows are 90yo casements, single pane and despite having 2 huge radiators in that room, it was freezing in the winter. It made a difference immediately. It was well worth the expense, and far less expensive than new all wood replicas.”

“I had been listing to a blower from a car wash across the street for two months that had been driving me crazzzzy. I never expected this indow product to silence the noise to the degree it has. Fantastic product!! -- very pleased.”

“This company is very unlike most any other company you will deal with in today's world. From the very first contact right down to the installation and preservation instructions they are friendly, competent and follow through on what they say they will do. The measuring kit and instructions are exact and very clear. The product is high quality and comes package better than most anything I have had delivered. I was the Purchasing Manager for the City of Bellingham a city of approximately 100,000 and dealt with hundreds of companies over my carrier and this type of performance happens once in a thousand.”

“These inserts might work well as single panels but I do not recommend them with the use of mullions. Mine were exceptionally hard to get in due to having to place the panel over the lip of the mullion. Apparently, this condition was not factored into the construction of my inserts Also, if you want to have fresh air in your home on a regular basis do not use these inserts. Taking them in and out on a daily basis is a hassle. Unless you are willing to do your work twice to convince them that panels do not fit you will not receive a refund. Apparently they don’t have confidence in their laser measuring device or your ability To use such.”

“The inserts have worked as indented. I know this because I have had problems with condensation at the point where the two sashes meet which equates to cold infiltration and heat loss. Upon installation the condensation stopped so I need no more proof than that. Thank You, Mark Odell.”

“For a person with age related decrease eyesight the measuring process was a challenged even with the laser tool. But, I'm actually quite surprise on how well the indow inserts fit and decreased the sound transmission. High frequency is markedly decreased and low rumble of trucks is attenuated as well.”
