“With 8 years of freelance UKFC' script reporting under my belt, I can happily confirm script feedback identified the flab, fat & underplayed - equally so the lean, mean meaty bits. I agree with 95% of it too & 5% that doesn't chime is only because I need a 'straight man' amidst my funny 'filthy dirty gorgeous fantastic sexy action'! Verdict then? Write till you drop then submit for an Industrial Scripts report...”

“My report arrived earlier than promised, and the standard of analysis is excellent. The feedback is going to be extremely helpful, both in terms of strengthening the story and in positioning the script within the marketplace. The consultant was extremely intuitive about my aims for the script, but they nevertheless offered numerous suggestions should I wish to take the screenplay in different commercial directions. In this way, and unlike other feedback services I've used in the past, Industrial Scripts' coverage really feels geared towards getting scripts closer to production - and I love that! It's left me with a very clear-headed idea about the direction in which I want to take the next rewrite, and that alone is worth every penny. Thank you.”

“The feedback I received for my treatment was exceptional. The consultant went above and beyond the call of duty, pinpointing issues with genre as well as a detailed analysis of plot, subplots and character. Not only did the consultant shed light on areas that need addressing, but also offered many excellent solutions and ideas in order to help my story move forward. Industrial Scripts have provided a lot to chew on and I will definitely be returning with the next treatment after revisions. I am also contemplating the mentoring service to kick the screenplay into shape. I am thankful this company exists. The writing life can often be solitary, but with Industrial Scripts to bounce ideas and scripts off of, it makes the writing journey a team game, as it should be.”

“Industrial scripts provided a detailed and accurate analysis of our screenplay in the time they promised which was less than 21 days. I was impressed with the scope of the comments and agree with many of the points made. Additionally the comments pointed out the weaknesses of the script, which I had overlooked. Whilst a few of the suggestions for improvement were somewhat unachievable in our chosen format, most of the suggestions and criticisms were very helpful. These comments helped outline necessary changes and shaped the next draft of the screenplay. Ultimately my writing partner and I are very happy that we submitted our script and pitch document for review by Industrial Scripts.”

“I was very impressed by the analysis report received on my screenplay. It arrived within 2 weeks. As my first ever screenplay I found this report invaluable. As it's a comedy I was relieved to hear it had made the report's author laugh and that he/she thought that it had promise and that I have an original voice. I already suspected that structure and story were my weak points, the comedy and the writing my stronger ones, but to have this reinforced by an expert has enabled me to concentrate on my weaker points and polish my work. It was clear that the person who analysed my screenplay had read it carefully and taken in every detail, and had not just skimmed over it, as they analysed so many events and characters in depth. I found the advice given on how to improve it absolutely invaluable and it has given me several ideas for changing the structure and ending for the better. In fact, soon after receiving the report I made a few changes, submitted it for a competition, and although I didn't win, I did get through to the top 10% which has spurred me on to make all those improvements you advised. Thank you so much. I would definitely recommend Industrial Scripts.”

“I ordered the TV drama script analysis, adding the option to receive the feedback within 7 days and was pleasantly surprised to see the analysis arrive two days ahead of the deadline. The real treat however was the content of the review from Industrial Scripts. Key issues within my pilot were highlighted-both areas of weakness and opportunities to ramp up the tension of the episode more. This alone would have been well worth the money, but the script editor also offered not one, but a multitude of high class suggestions for each area, of which I will be implementing at least one for each highlighted issue. All of this in five days. I could prattle on for ages but I will leave it with this; I would unequivocally recommend Industrial Scripts to anyone wanting to take their script to the next level. They're so good it almost feels like cheating. Fraser Dunphy”

“I chose the 'Which Logline' service and found the reply very prompt and helpful. Out of the 10 loglines I submitted, each was rearranged in order of clear story and genre, obvious protagonist and dramatic twist making the story dramatic and compelling. I found this very useful in determining which projects to focus on and which ones to discard or improve.”

“My first experience at Industrial Scripts and a wholly positive one. The notes were helpful and well thought through. The comments and understanding of the storyline and characters was spot on. The proposed changes made me rethink and challenge my initial story design, but more importantly I felt was able to take the screenplay to the next level. “It is an interesting exercise critiquing a critique, but I shall try! Full marks for the turnaround (sent in half the agreed turnaround time), and for no. of pgs, in excess of the agreed amount. The tone was exactly right - balanced and direct without becoming discouraging or scathing. There were a few occasions where I felt some of the peripheral conclusions were slightly hasty, but the main meat of the feedback was very useful, especially when talking about the structure and the protagonist's journey. What I thought was stand out was that the reviewer seemed to really care about this project, despite having read tons of script before (I would imagine) which is why I gave full marks in the end. Lots for me to go away and think about, but I feel that the report is a strong tool to develop the script, and I am encouraged to send in another draft based at least in part on the reader's recommendations, and to do likewise with my other scripts and I would recommend this service. This was the first report on my first screenplay, which is always going to be a baptism of fire in some sense, but if anyone is on the fence about using a script feedback service, I would say take the plunge and do it (with a reputable and established company whose reviews you can read) - you'll be surprised how it will help you to look at your work with fresh eyes.”

“I had a Dry Run Report done by Industrial Scripts and they gave my script a 'pass'. They said the premise had basically all been seen before and was not that original. I wrote the script in 1998 and was just curious as to whether the script was still original enough to gain interest from a production company. Industrial Scripts said a lot more non flattering things about my script and I have to admit, they were spot on. As their feedback is harsh, but on the mark, I will be using their services in future. If you want honesty, good advice and helpful direction for your scripts without the bull, then contact these guys. Vincent Cleghorne”
