Everything went well. Eyepad which we inadvertently left in car at airport on departure, has been found, and is being forwarded to us in UK by DHL on our account. Well done ! Only suggestion is that you provide Fast Track facility at Manchester Airport, as security terminals were chaotic with long queues. regards Denis Leech

The hotel was good, all the transfers were really efficient and very friendly drivers. The only thing was the vouchers for the day trip and hotel which were not left at reception and we had to organise to receive them separately.

The whole short break from the BA flights, the pick-up from and return to the airport, the bottle of champagne in our room at the hotel Firenze, the excellent service of all the hotel staff, the room and breakfast could not be faulted. It was superb. Even though my wife and myself had planned the trip for over a year, as a present to the both of us for our 70th birthdays, the termination of Turandot after the start of Act 2 owing to the heaviest storm seen in Verona for decades did not detract from a magical short break. Excellent.

Every thing went beautifully to plan and I appreciated the last minute request for assistance at the airport due to a bad knee. The opera was great with perfect seats. Our hotel was well positioned for the centre and the staff very helpful. We were able to reunite with Italian friends due to you arranging an extra day there for us. So many thanks to A La Carte for a memorable trip.

All arrangements made went entirely according to plan. The Aida opera tickets were situated in the best site in the Arena. Hotel Accedemia was traditional Italian and a delight.

The arrangements and organisation worked to perfection. Everything was as described. We had a delightful stay with no worries or hiccoughs. The seats booked in the arena for the opera were excellent. I have sung your praises to my friends, and would like to congratulate you on your service.

All the arrangements for our 4 day break worked like clockwork. The hotel Firenze was excellent and situated just a fifteen minute stroll from the Piazza Bra. We enjoyed strolling round the city and made good use of the two day Verona Pass. The highlight of our stay was the visit to the Arena to see Aida, a truly memorable occasion. Thank you very much!

Hotel was beautiful and the operas outstanding, the only thing that let the holiday down was EasyJet,, it was late cramped and flew at awkward times, arriving late on Friday leaving in the afternoon on Monday. As a result we had to vacate our room at eleven and had nothing to do for four hours. If we had travelled BA we could had arrived Saturday morning and all day until the Opera to look around an we would have left early on Monday morning.

In regards to booking with British Airways, they have consistently been much more expensive and they have changed the times of all their flights this season. We had a wonderful break and the hotel was lovely and clean . The staff were very professional friendl and helpful . Nothing was to much trouble . The restaurants they recommended were excellent .

The booking process was made easy with the team answering any questions quickly and in detail. The standard of care shown on the holiday was very good and all the plans worked well. Just to let you know, The 2day Verona pass actually lasted 48 hours so we were able to spread it over three days and so fit in a day's visit to Venice and not feel we had missed out. If possible, please can a list of attractions covered by the card be included in the pack. One of my niggles for these expensive hotels is that they charge upto three times the going rate for bottled water. We have stayed in much less expensive b&bs that have provided water free do charge. It would be a great marketing ploy for them to adopt! I would just like to say thank you to Hannah for all her support and to the team for providing the bottle of prosecco in our room - it made our anniversary celebrations that little more special. Thank you.

Booking reference WEFT102788/13712 The most fantastic 4 days. Hotel was faultless, room and bathroom was so clean . Hotel staff were lovely. The seats at the opera Carmen (which was amazing) were I thought the best in the house (or should I say arena). If I had to select my seats I would have chosen the ones we were given. Airport transfer again was faultless both ways. Would highly recommend Weekend a la carte. Thank you so much for a wonderful time to celebrate my husbands birthday. Angela Sapstead

From the first phone call to enquire about our trip to Verona, it was obvious how professional and attentive the staff were. We cannot fault their attention to detail and all the arrangements made for us. We had brilliant seats at the arena for the opera, Aida. The opera itself was spectacular. Transfers and the hotel itself were excellent! Thank you for making this very special!

Quite the best organised trip our group have experienced for some time. Every step worked without hitch or delay and all our needs were met handsomely. Hotel Accademia gets top rating in every department - reception and help from all staff down to the chamber maids and porters; excellent breakfast choices and service; bedrooms well appointed and maintained, with linen and towel changes daily, bathroom superb with enough towels, hooks etc and all equipment in working order! The added bonus was being able to walk comfortably to the Arena in the Piazza Bra within 10 mins. Transfer to and from hotel/airport was by well-serviced and comfortable people carrier in the capable hands of driver Gino. Also, the handy Verona card also served us well on local bus journeys, despite the one unhelpful driver who took us three stops past Santa Zeno church for no good reason! No fun walking back in 33 deg heat! Our Arena seats were exactly where we had wished to be and we forsook the chance of day trip to Venice for another night at the opera to see Carmen. Tickets were easily available from the booking office opposite Gates 62-65 of the Arena and discounts applied on account of our being senior citizens. A brilliant trip and one we would be happy to do again. Jose Northey

Villa Sostana at Lake Garda was very special and had excellent cuisine. Hotel Academia in Verona was in superb situation for everything. The Verona card was excellent.
