I ordered a coat back in November 2024 and it was to big . I returned the coat back to the return address that was listed on their site . After two weeks I checked the tracking and it was received. I threw away the tracking number. They never refunded back the amount to my credit card which I called and had them check. Got a letter that I owe them the amount after they say they did an investigation. I will never buy from them again !

so this one girl cursed at us so we reported it to a girl named brie (im not sure if i spelt her name right) and when we told her she was so nice and so understanding she treated us so nicely we even came back to say hi again they talked to the girl that cursed at us im not sure what happened but they were sooo sweet (i dont know the other girls name but i think it was cindy)

My shipment got sent to my lld address even though shipment before I saved my new address and made it default /shipping address. Apparently it only saved for that one shipment. Next one went to old house and I got sassy attitude from customer service saying it was my fault even though new address should have saved in computer system not erased. I also found the third order about to get shipped to old address but it was still in JCPennys possesion at warehouse. But when I called they were totally unwilling to do Anything about it even though UPS didn't have package yet. They gave me wrong tracking number and told me to get ahold of UPS. The automated system couldn't find it bc wrong number. So then I found the correct number,opened up a My Choice UPS account but bc I registered my correct address I was unable to proceed to where I needed on dashboard. Ups live support would not lift a finger and had a crappy attitude too.

I placed an online order, and after waiting over 2 weeks for two items with tracking reports saying "packing list created" they are now telling me that the items are unavailable. Very disappointed in their service

JCP has the worst return process I have experienced in my 72 years. The online form for help only gives a few options to choose from, if they are not appropriate your only option is to phone the useless customer service number. I explained I am trying to locate an order number that JCP says does not exist, even though I have the number on the package that was sent to me. It arrived without return paperwork. How can I return an order that JCP says doesn't exist? After a ludicrously long conversation, the rep said she had found the order and would send what I need to process the return. She sent me a form for an item I returned in March of last year! I won't be shopping at JCP anymore.

My mom purchased gold earrings for herself. For Christmas did not even get to wear them. When she put them on the class broke, try to exchange them at JC. Penney's in white lake, where she purchased them, they would not even do an exchange since she did not have her receipt. I thought all stores head record. When you use your debit or your credit card, it shows all the purchases like Kohl's Myers. Et cetera apparently, jc penney's keeps no record of purchases.And my mother is unable to find her receipt and now stuck with very expensive gold earrings that were so cheap, they broke the first time she put them on.

I wanted to go to paperless statements. Synchrony made it so difficult to change and if I don’t go paperless they will charge a fee. I suggest you go with Capital One like Kohl’s did, they made it so easy to change! I will no longer use my JC Penny card again and I have been member since 1975! The savings for using JC Penny card isn’t worth thins aggravation.

The worst! Tried to "help" a struggling company by ordering some of their products but got nothing but repeated delays. Ordered on Jan 8 with a Jan 10 delivery date. Jan 16 and my order still has not arrived. "Expected" delivery date is Jan 18. Awful!

I sent my new expensive ring off to be re sized 3 weeks ago. I called jewelry department several times with no answer. I finally pushed 0 for operator. All she did was push me off ,back to a ringing in jewelry for 4 minutes with no answer. This went on all day Tuesday. I'm frustrated by now. I just need to know if my ring is back from sizing. When I called again at 6:40 pm I got the same lady ,I explained again my need. She said ,OOH I just got word they will call you when it comes in. Really!!! She lied to me to get rid of me. I won't ever shop JC again. So unprofessional 😠

I purchased a mattress back in June cost me over $800 My September I realize I'm sleeping in a ditch so I called them and their answer to me is they're going to charge me a $90 or $95 restocking fee and I must purchase another mattress are you kidding me you want me to purchase another mattress when you don't stand by the mattress I purchased already I will never buy anything from JCPenney again

Bought two items for Xmas presents, the charcuterie board is in pieces, the earrings I bought for my daughter won't stay in their mounts. Glad you may coverv it jc Penney , but you wasted my time and resources in cheap junkj

Horrible customer service, I ordered pants for my son, they arrived with the security ink tag still on them , I called the customer service number he said I would have to drive them a half hour from my house to the store to have it removed, I told him I ordered them so I don't have to go to the store, he then said he can send me a return label to send it back and then reorder and I wouldn't have the pants I already paid for for about 2 weeks, I told him that is unacceptable it's not my mistake why should I have to drive anywhere or wait at all, just send me a new pair, he said he was ending the call and hung up on me, that's the last time I will deal with JCPenney, just another big box store that's needs to be run out of business, it's a good thing Amazon has good customer service because that's all that's going to be left soon

I Paid my account in full. Received another statement with a late fee of $30.00. Payment was only two days late and at Christmas. Called to ask them to waive the late fee as a courtesy. . Would not waive - they go through Synchrony Bank which is the worse to work with. All other credit cards such as Maurice’s and Old Navy,etc will work with you. I understand if a person is late all the time they would get late charges

Will never buy at JCPenney again. They raised my interest rates to the point where I could never pay them off. Interest is added through the year and at the end of the year if the balance on your J.C. Penney card is not paid in full , they add a large amount of interest at one time. In my case over 700 dollars of interest was added onto my account. Didn’t owe them but 1,300 dollars, when they added the 700 dollars that bought my dept to them up to over 2,000 dollars and my interest rate was over 34%. Well I paid them off with a low interest loan. I destroyed my J.C. Penney credit card and I will not be shopping with them again!!

Jcp is advertising a emerald necklace by LeVian at a clearance price of 1105. I considered buying it. Hesitated and checked the web to verify the price. Found the necklace on Rue lala for 749.99. Called jcp customer service and reached the out of the country dept. The first rep just disconnected the call. I think he was Armondo. Called back and got aorlondo who I asked to transfer me to supervisor. I got put in queue and reached Fernando. He saw the item on Rue lala pretended to check for their price match guarantee and said they don't match with them. Jcp lost a customer. I stopped dealing with them for years and happened to buy something about a year ago and rekindled. I realize now why I stopped dealing with them. Poor customer service and lies about price matching. Jcp would not even match a price that went cheaper on their website for boots I had ordered but had not yet received when the price went down. So I had to reorder at the cheaper price and return the first order. Jcp u lost me again. And I hope others will check your prices before allowing you to take advantage. I want the world to know you're a liar about price match and u hire cheap help in other countries because u don't respect your customers

I bought a pair of pettite jeans on Black Friday, but I do not remember if I paid cash or credit card. When I got home the jeans were way too big. I took them back with out a problem because I had the receive with me. All i wanted was even exchanged for smaller sized and also bought other things. When I tried the pants at home it was still too big. At this point I had taken the tag off because ididn't think I was going to need the tags anymore. I tried the pants on and it was still too big. When i took it for 2nd time back to even exchange they refused to exchange the jeans. The ladies were very rude at the customer service. I left leaving the jeans with them. Bitter experice at Dover Jcpenny customer service. They refused to pull the video to hear their rude comment when I was approaching the counter.
