“Best Bars: Almonds & Fig, Mocha, Caramel Sea Salt, Cherry (Worst: Apple Strudel) Best Ready-to-Drink: Chocolate Best Shakes: Chocolate & Vanilla (Worst: Pistachio) I prefer the shakes from Huel. So I am having a Huel shake in the morning and a Plenny Bar in the afternoon. When I am in the office, I always have a Jimmy Joy RTD and a bar with me :-).”

“I like Jimmy Joy's taste, it's sweeter than the more bland Soylent-like competitors. I recently bought a huge pack, but was unexpectedly dismayed. The new shipment had a nearer best-before-date than the last delivery (same taste-kind). Surprise-free companies are the ones I can trust and recommend to friends, others are more like a gamble.”

“Moest even wennen aan de poederige smaak. Gebruik de shake met magere melk of water. Ik maak de ochtend shake een dag van te voren al klaar. Voor in de middag neem ik poeder apart mee naar mijn werk. De vanille is heerlijk , de chocolade raar maar waar poedersmaak. De banaan is ok.”

“(First time testing) the bars I already try 3 flavours and they are good, you can microwave them to eat something a bit hot, the powder and the plenny drink are tasty but you can get Seasick very fast. You need to get used to the flavour. Overall they are ok. After one "meal" I still fell hungry (normally I eat a bit more than the normal people). Normally i go work around 5pm so bring 2 bars and a shaker with 3 scoops. At 6h30pm I eat a bar, 9pm the shaker, and later on +- 00:00 I eat the bar. If I eat less I will be hungry. They are really useful, easy to transport and +- tasty. Delivery as fast and in time.”

“I love Plenny Shake. I've been drinking it (with skimmed milk) for over three years now. It's my breakfast at least 5 out of 7 days, some weeks 7 out of 7. I also often drink it as lunch. You do miss biting or chewing on something sometimes, and I would like to feel 'fuller' for longer after drinking it, but I have the same with any meal really... I tell anyone who gives me weird looks to give it a try.”

“I've been using Jimmy Joy a long time now. Recently purchased the Plenny Pot in a bag (10 portions). Great product, but very difficult to ensure you have enough spices in your 2 scoops. Even after shaking the bag well. This results in some plenny pot meals not tasting great. Would be nice to have a solution for this. Perhaps spices that are separately packaged.”

“At first very enjoyable, but after a few meals just bland and unexciting. If you're looking for an emergency meal once a month, there's nothing wrong with it. But if you're the type of person trying to replace a meal or two per week, Jimmy Joy might not be for you.”

“I signed up for the starter Box. The advert stated 30 meals and the picture showed a free Tshirt. I received a Penny Shake package (10 meals) and a Penny Bar package (12 meals), which totals 22 meals. Where are the other 8 meals and the Tshirt? I asked customer service that question. They said the information wasn't updated on the site and that I received everything that I should have. Seems like a poor response for false advertising.”

Hi Ross, I am sorry this was the case as explained in our previous communications about this as well. There was an update on the website and the images did not reflect correctly, the order itself did reflect all that we could offer at that moment and the pricing was noted correctly as well, even the one per meal. For that reason, as you got what was paid for and nothing was missing, the only thing left for me was to apologize for the inconvenience and error on the website reflecting that. Apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused and as said, this is of course not the experience we want for our customers, especially not the first one.
