“I spoke with Sheila over the phone asking for a special delivery of a plant, as I wanted it to be accompanied by a sympathy card that I had written. I posted the card to her and when she received it, she called me to go over the details. She took my credit card and told me that I would receive email confirmations when the order was dispatched and delivered. I've received the dispatch email, but waiting on the delivery one. Sheila made it very easy for me to order with the special request.”

“This was my first time buying online from a garden centre. I knew exactly what plants I wanted, and having made contact with every garden centre in Co. Cork that I could find with no luck, I found a gem online. My beautiful plants arrived in record time, boxed to a very high standard. The price was great and the postage cost even better. There is no way I will travel to garden centres in the future, when Johnstown Garden Centre made me so happy. Thank you so much.”

“I purchased a large handout plant as a present online from Dubai. Replant arrived punctually and in perfect condition. I would like to see a better selection of indoor flowering plants, however, I would definitely consider using your garden centre again.”

Thanks so much for the great review Georgina! We have so many indoor flowering plants in store, alot of these are just too delicate to ship so we do not show them online. We will always try to add more to the online collection!

“I live in the UK and had run out of time to get a voucher sent to me so I could send to my sister for her birthday. I rang the garden centre, however the person who deals with vouchers was busy and I was told they would ring me back. Within 10 minutes I had a call and a voucher sorted and in the post on the appropriate day for my sister to receive it. I was very impressed with the customer service and will use this garden centre again. There was a real personal touch and i felt like they cared about all of thei customers. Thank you my sister was delighted to receive her voucher.”

Hi Iris! As a feature, you can always request plants to be delivered by a certain date by popping a note in the comments box when ordering and we will do our best to fulfill your request!

“Having received a newsletter from Johnstown GC I realised they had just got in the plants I wanted and couldn't find on an Irish website. While abroad, I ordered them, with the request they did not deliver until after a specific date. And without any prompting they duly arrived just after the date I'd specified. They were in first class condition. Ten out of ten all round to JGC!”

“Very excited to find a tree (Paulownia Tomentosa) that reminded me of the beautiful Jacaranda trees in Australia and it was available in Ireland. I bought it online and it arrived by Courier a couple of days later beautifully wrapped and labeled. It was healthy and strong and about 1.5 meters tall. I am delighted. It is for my little walled secret garden. I hope it will flower in the next couple of years and I will be delighted.”
